iTunes remote for WP7 - HD2 Windows Phone 7 Themes and Apps

Hey guys
Could anyone upload the iTunes remote app, as a .XPA-file?
This would def. be an awesome app, but can't get it where I live because of limitation to Marketplace :-(

It is a paid app and cannot be posted here.

It seems Microsoft is going to start loosing customers really soon, if they dont open to new Markets. What's the point of selling phone if one cant install any app? Buying a smartphone only for sms, email and IE? Ridiculous.. as to say the least...
At least Android has the possibility of downloading free apps... on Markets that are not supported yet.

Can Apple's MobileMe work with Pocket PC?

It works with PCs so I, with no programming knowledge whatsoever, believe there has to be a way to get it to work with our Kaisers.
Is it possible?
most likely it will not be possible.
Why would you want it anyway? There are free exchange services out there that essentially do the same thing.
i like working with large, reputable companies when it comes to my personal data. but i'll look into these free exchange services.

What forums are you reading? Large yes, reputable?
Have you read the Apple f**ked me forums lately?
Just loaded the latest upgrade to Leopard, now my computer freezes 20 times a day. Why do non-Apple people assume Apple knows what they are doing? Because they have great P.R. people?
Why even discuss this when it's not even out yet.

i wouldnt judge them because their large and that certainly doesnt make them reputable...
Better idea, why not go off other peoples recommendations? For instance, im an avid fan of live.mail2web.com its perfect for personal exchange. and its FREE .... im sure that steve HANDjobs is going to charge you a fee for their service.
Mobile Me for our Kaiser (possilby)
I just finished chatting with an apple rep. I told her that I use a windows mobile pocket pc while my wife uses the I phone...can we both use the features of mobile me on our devices. The reply was Yes.
Of couse as Shogun has stated it will cost. $149.00 for a family service or $99.00 for an individual license.
apple is billing this service as "exchange for the rest of us" so i would imagine that is EXACTLY what they are using, is microsoft exchange, but they are hiding some of the settings from the users so it appears to be some magical new technology that apple "developed"
if we can get a hold of the settings, i would imagine that punching them into activesync would work just fine. besides, how else do we get it to work with outlook on our pc's? SETTINGS! so i'm sure we'll find a way to make it work.
please laugh with me...

Unfortunately, mail2web free service uses Exchange 2003 wich pushes only text mail. Their Exchange 2007 service, comptatible with html is $14.99 per month then $179.88 per year. Apple's MobileMe will "only" be $99 per year... So ???

Android appDeck??

Our favourite site? Some people believe dev's should be paid for their work...
You're gonna get in trouble for this.
Damn right... if you want an app bad enough, you should pay the dev who made it for you!
How do you guys know that he is talking about pirated apps? He didn't say anything about that in his post.
BUT
If you are talking about pirated apps then really dude? Come on, most are a couple cents or a couple dollars tops which is a great price for all the that devs time and helps to insure that you get more updates and maybe more apps from him/her. Skip the restaurant that day and eat home and you can buy a couple apps that you'll get enjoyment out of a lot longer than that food. Just my opinion...
some people don't have credit cards or debit cards... Regardless I believe in supporting devs any way possible. ;] ;] ;]
I'm not going to criticize the guy because I can't say I've never "downloaded" an app for my PC or anything like that.
However, you should always have a look with android. It's "different" if you don't have money to pay for an app then the majority of the time you can find a similar one for free which does exactly the same thing. I find in a lot of cases Developers have a "free version" which is ad supported, that doesn't bother me and I just pick the free version.

Thats why u use Market Enabler....lol
Why's everyone so quick to hate on this guy, he just asked if there was a site where he could download android applications. Never said anything about pirated ones.
AndroidAppDeck yes had some pirated applications, but they also had free ones on their page as well.
As Daneshm90 mentioned, you might wanna search for the Market Enabler. If thats not an option there are sites like www.anda.pk that has a handful of apps you can D/L to your PC and install on your phone. If I come across any others I'll let you know.
So how about we actually answer this guys question and point him towards a legitimate solution rather than play finger pointer.
However as a developer myself (not of android), I will say if youre looking for pirated apps dont bother asking here.
there is this saying if you cant buy it...you dont need..lol
blapk Market and applanet
It´s open, called blapk market, now: blapkmarket(dot)com (they ask for a registration, takes a couple of days to approve)
Also there´s the applanet that don´t need registration, works better and has the same interface as the original Market app: applanet(dot)net/applanet
I have both, in case i can´t find an app in one i look into the other one.
PS.: Support the developers, if you download a paid app from there contact the developer to find a way to compensate him for his work. (they use to accept off-market payment)

fantastic news, but did you really have to post it in multiple forums?
can someone close the one in the hero android development forum??
oh, and the one on the hero forum.....seems someone had a spamming moment!
I dont find the Spotify app from the market with the search. Is it area-related?
Only available in Sweden at the moment, it seems. If you read the triple post on the Hero-forum, I put up a link to the apk-file.
Kiitos! (Works great, tho offline sync seams to be bit slow atm.)

Also available in Norway....
offline sync is nowhere near as fast as the video demo for the iphone appears to be.
but then again, to sync 150 songs, you are effectively downloading them all, so can't really complain its not instant!
Also i'm in the UK on a t-mo G2...
and found it late last night when was browsing through apps on the market..
Spotify DOWN YO!
Can someone explain how its justified to charge £10 a month for this service? Is it really that good?
Allows you to sync your music to listen to it offline.
Yes, IMHO, that's worth a tenner a month.
Regards,
Dave
Is there any kind of trial available?
I'd like to see the full functionality before paying for a subscription.
Well, you can try the Spotify service directly on a Windows PC, but you won't be able to test out the Android client without a premium subscription.

Dave

I've being using it on my pc since the trial, but I wanted to see if reception was good enough for me to use this on my commute. I'm not quite sure what the offline listening people have mentioned is. Hence a few days trial would be enough for me to decide one way or another.
Offline listening means you can sync your playlists to your device, so you can listen to them without having to stream them from the net.
Your best bet is to buy a subscription, and cancel it if you are unhappy with the service.

Dave
£10 a month
Sorry to sound a bit cynical but whats up wi just plugging ya phone to pc and copy and paste
Copy and paste what? The desktop version of Spotify doesn't allow for offline play, so you've nothing downloaded to the PC.

Dave

I'm sure I'll sign up to this when I know I can afford it.
How long does syncing take? Would a playlist of 100 songs take hours?

Contract Management App for Xoom

I am a wedding and portrait photographer and am trying to integrate my Xoom into my business. What I would love to see is an app that allows me to import my contracts in pages or ms word format, edit them on the tablet, have my customers review the contract and sign it on the tablet, then export the file as a pdf and email a copy to the client. Anyone got any ideas, or is this just wishful thinking. I have not seen an app for android or iOS that can handle this. Im obviously not a developer, but it seems like there would be a huge market for this, and as a laymen it seems like it should be fairly easy to accomplish.
Agreed,
I really need a app that I can put documents on for my business and my clients can sign on the xoom then I don't have to print all this paper and everything would be electronic.
Check out EasySignMobile. It is an iOS app, but if it is what you are looking for it might be worth contacting the developer to see if they are working on an Android port.
We need to get some traction on this. I'd be willing to pay for an app like that and even donate to a dev willing to do it.

I have found most of the iOS apps to the sub par, and many of them are subscription based and are handled through a website service, or do not allow for editing docs on my device. What I need is an app that will handle everything locally, on my device, and I can backup to my computer at home. I will take a look at EasySignMobile though.

Thanks for the suggestion though!
FYI I just emailed the developer of easysign just to see. I'll let you guys know if anything turns out.
Thanks for the suggestion
Ye I contacted most of the developers for these apps like pdf expert, what I use on the I pad for signing PDF and filling out forms, but they and most developers said that they do not have any plans for developing for android. Their excuse is that they believe in quality and not quantity, but I respond by saying that you can still make a quality app for android, but still no use. Some did say though that if they do expand then the android market will be next.
Android does lack in business apps and I will gladly pay money for those apps. That is why I am returning my xoom (what a shame) because I need one for business, the same reason why you need one for yours, and going back to my ipad where I use quicksale for invoices and pdf expert for filling out forms and signing business contracts.
If any developer reads this thread just know that I will gladly pay $20 for an app that can satisfy this need as well as a seperate twenty for invoices. The ipad apps that I use are very nice, easy to use, and well developed. So for business I would get the ipad than the xoom. And for those who say there is an invoice app for the xoom, I have tried them all, and paid, and they SUCK.
Sent from my Xoom using XDA App
Although you can't edit repligo reader does let you annotate and even add handwriting onto a pdf. Documents to go is okay for editing word docs but yet to find anything that lets you save as pdf. So no perfect solution but a few apps as mentioned are close. Its odd there are so many apps that let you take a photo and convert to pdf but nothing for documents, wonder if its an adobe licensing issue? I know acrobat pro for windows is pricey but I use it all the time at work particularly to distribute visio and ms project docs.

[Q] xbox live games crash

Hi,
I unlocked my phone.
I can download games and install them.
They appear in xbox live, but whenever i try to play them, it just crashes and comes back to xbox live screen or the home screen.
non xbox applications seem to work fine.
I have the latest updates.
can some1 help me plz?
the games are downloaded from marketplace or they are installed with a xap installer?
xap installer
maybe that's the problem...it can be the corrupted xap...try to find and download other xaps...if the free xbox games start normally then it means that the problem is within the xaps
well Im using the 3mktplace v0.54 to find and download games. From where can I download xap games that arent corrupted?
you cant crack live game with this tools... forget it... only solution is to find it cracked on other (very known forum)
You guys are some douchebags for encouraging this. Buy the games legitimately and they won't crash on you. I can't believe this question was even asked and then responded to.

You can installed with a xap
I paid for the "Full House Poker" app from the marketplace and it crashes almost every time I try to use it. It works about 1 out of 25 tries, and then when it finally does launch, it crashes about 5 mins into it.

you know seems that you are really ignorant! Not every country has the market place enabled thus can't use or buy items simply because some countries ARE NOT SUPPORTED!!! USA does not mean the WORLD you know.
So if you or MSF wants to ban piracy they better expand their services.....and stop being ignorant.

Same here. My boss especially is pissed of, cause his phone is not unlocked (due to a various reasons), and both of his cards are a no go in the marketplace (zune.net throws Error! Try again later), live.com says the credit cards cannot be verified. Is it so hard, M$? Really?
And we can talk prices... but that a whole other story..
hmm...
downloading and cracking apps for iphone is much easier - Installes or cydia.
and jailbreaking iphone was easier. I wonder y is that?
the Iphone apps are also cheaper, right?
Thank you guys...
There will be NO discussion of warez here....
If you want things to work then pay for them.... If your too cheap to pay then get your warez advice elsewhere....
END OF DISCUSSION!
