I don't have it installed but I was able to find it on the market using my GTAB.

What ROM your on? I can't find it on Vegan. The only one that shoes up is the one for phones and it doesn't recognize that I'm on WiFi.

I'm on VEGAn Beta 5.1
I have full market capability, Ok.. Maybe its more like 98.9% capabilities.. *lol*
Check this video on getting full market, it really worked for me with this ROM.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l-nySibzeA&feature=related
Edit: I just installed "NYTimes for Android Phones" and it works fine with the GTAB.

I'll try that later, it tells me there's no connection.
P.s. I hate your tab for having it work lol

both the tablet and phone versions work on mine. Both are really slow though. Really annoying and I probably won't be using, but it does work.

I want even c the tablet version. It's free, can u upload the apk plz

You might be interested in checking out Readers Hub and Zinio with it. The combination will let you subscribe to hundreds of newspapers and almost a hundred magazines. It works great on my gTab running VEGAn beta 5.1.

Pardon the newbie, but how do I install this? I tried renaming to an API, but while that brings up the normal install screen with permissions, it then won't install.

Do not rename it. Copy the zip to your gTab (I use my Download directory) and then launch it by selecting it and it will install. You must have set your gTab to allow for installation of "unknown sources" in your Settings --> Application --> Unknown Sources.
If you're going to be doing a lot of sideloading I would highly recommend you sign up for a free Dropbox account which will allow you to move files back and forth from any device that you install Dropbox on.

So, I already had that in settings, but when I go to "select it", ES File Manager does not give me an option to install. If I "double click" it simply navigates into the ZIP file. Obviously some simple step I'm overlooking?

I flashed it in cwm.

Same problem as renaming to an APK. It starts to install, then quits with no message other than "Application not Installed". I'm wondering if it is checking for something that is (or isn't) present on my G-tab.
I'm running Vegan 5.1 with the ClemSyn kernel if that would make a difference.

I would download it again then flash the zip in cwm. Maybe it got corrupt somehow.

Fixed Flash 10.2 for Hulu

I've modded the leaked flash 10.2 to work with Hulu.
http://www.multiupload.com/HUTOFN3O0A
Uninstall the other version before installing this.
You'll need to change your useragent to desktop as well in the browser. (see here).
This is largely untested, but should work. Let me know if you have any problems.
I'll try it. Thanks.
Just tried it and it looks like it works. Didn't get to watch anything due to being on vzw 3g and hulu said it is not fast enough for ads. Thanks tho!
As soon as I get to Wi-Fi I will reply back here on if it works successfully.
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
It works great. For better performing video playback on hulu, go to http://www.hulu.com/widget/player instead of the main site.

You have to change libflashplayer.so to report WIN instead of AND. You can do this with a hex editor. I also tried to make a modified apk, which I posted in the other thread but I found it only works if you install the official flash player first, and it only works until you reboot and then you have to install both again. I haven't tested the one in this thread so I don't know if it has the same issue.
I think if you have root you can just replace libflashplayer.so and be good to go though. See my comments here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12038563&postcount=74

Hulu Plus for Android APK

I installed it on my Nexus One and then grabbed the APK with Titanium Backup. I can install it on my Xoom and run it, but it won't let me login, etc. because the device isn't supported. I thought I'd post it in case any of you know how to tinker with it to remove the device compatibility check.
They got hulu working in browser, Hope they can get this app working.
You would think netflix and hulu would have released a app for tablets by now. It would benefit on both partys as far as sales so why they havent yet is beyond me.... -_-

At a guess, because they're having to work with multiple vendors for hardware DRM because that's what the media holders require.
That, and JNI/C++/Android NDK developers with enough experience to do the necessary coding are extremely hard to find. We may be having to wait while each vendor ramps one of their developers up on the necessary technologies.

I think you misunderstood the post (and I'm sorry if you did). This was just to make it show up in the Market. This wouldn't make the app itself allow playback if you got the error message.
Some devices do work that aren't supported (for example my Nook Color running CM7) so it makes me think that there has to be some way to get around the check, but unfortunately, that's beyond my skill set.
That makes more sense and I misunderstood your post.

This method may be a little easier for you. I tested it and it seemed to work just fine.
Directions:
1. Delete Hulu Plus if you have it installed already.
2. Delete any backups you may have of it in Titanium Backup.
3. Get Titanium Backup if you don't already have it.
4. Download this file and unzip it, there will be 3 folders in it.
5. Place all 3 folders in the sdcard/TitaniumBackup folder
6. Launch Titanium Backup and restore the backup.
7. Enjoy?
And of course I'm not responsible for anything that goes wrong and blah blah blah.
PLEASE NOTE: You can't use "Ad Free" or anything that modifies hosts for this, or the videos won't load.
^
Bruh, that worked perfectly. Thanks

I just tried this and still got the "Device is not supported..." message. I'm running rooted stock 3.2. Did I do something wrong?
Did you make sure you removed all instances of previous hulu plus installs? I am running Tiamat 2.1 and it is working for me but I used Root Explorer to delete all hulu plus data before attempting the steps.
