FINALLY worked out how to change fonts in one click hehe. - HD2 Android Themes and Apps

been gagging to change font:

"This is excellent. From your description I just assumed it changed the system font, and I thought "So. I've seen other apps that do that." Then I tried it and saw what it does!
You should mention in the OP that it comes with a downloadable catalog of fonts and downloads and sets them for you, as that's the MAIN feature!" - XDA member: johncmolyneux

Thanks for the find, been looking for a way to do this ever since I flashed the phone.
This is probably a stupid question, so I'm assuming to change it back to the original font we would just uninstall the app?

works a treat, excellent app.

[Q] HTC Hero Sprint Icon Question

Is it possible to change icons? If so, how?
My phone is rooted, and using the stock rom it came with from Sprint.
Firmware: 2.1-update1
Software: 2.27.651.5
Thanks for the help!
If you use launcher pro from the market as your launcher you can change the icons and the name too...
Long press on a blank space and add the app you want...tap on its picture to load your gallery and choose whatever icon you would like...there are plenty to download...

Hm.. That's a quick way, thanks Vandelay007. Do you happen to know a way without using Launcher Pro though? Oddly enough, I like the default launcher.

Download Desktop Visualizer from the Market. Allows you to put custom icon shortcuts anywhere on your desktop for just about anything. You can't change any of the taskbar or menu icons, but it does allow you to change/customize any icons you put on your desktop home screens.

I'll definitely use this way next time though. You can't imagine how long it takes a "n00b" to find the Folder shortcut icon.
Thank you everyone for your help.

Looks like he did... I have to say, if this guy describes himself as a noob, and he managed to search and figure out how to theme without needing to aska lot of questions, I shudder to think what we have to call the people who not only don't know what they're talking about, but also can't search for it...
You can't believe how happy I am to see search work that well. It kind of scares me how happy I am.

Haha, thanks for the compliment! It really wasn't that hard to be honest. Just resize the png, rename it, and find where to put it. Once you figure out that you can open .apk files with 7zip, the rest is a cake walk!
The problem with most n00bs is that they don't want to get their hands dirty... and the laziness! Haha.

[Q] What font is this?

Okay, so would really love to know what font is used for the headings in the Android Market, it is also used it the Beautiful Widgets Default font clock
please check the attachments below...

Looks aweosme! Could you make a camera, phone, SMS & Browser. Black & White?
the generic globe for use with any browser would be great. color doesn't matter to me, seems like you've got a pretty good eye for it.
Very nice.
Additonal icons
added more icons as request to the first post. let me know if you need changes or whatever.

Yeah...I get that....but when I download the files to my computer it doesn't recognize the .rar extention.
I should be sleeping (or working)...
oh, sorry about that i though you meant the files within the rar file. To open the file you will need "winrar" www.rarlab.com (its free) to open it.

[Q] Background image in blinkfeed

Hi all,
I never thought I'd use sense, but I really like ARHD and blinkfeed and after getting rid of the condensed font it looks almost good.
However blinkfeed is too dark to my taste. Do you guys know a quick way to let the background image being shown in the clock area of blinkfeed?
Thanks
Holger

Simply install ViperOne rom and you will be able to set blinkfeed/clock background from tweaks you can choose a color or an image as background, and you can even set appdrawer background

The most important is that you're satisfied and got what you want and if you never used Viper rom, just continue to explore venom tweaks, there are a lot of goodies

Maybe. I used this. It's a flashable zip that allows you to customize various aspects of the launcher. I don't remember what version it's intended for, so make a backup before you try it.
Another option is to take my Prism apk and try it on your device. Move the apk to /system/, set the permissions to rw-r-r/644, then move and replace to /system/app. Like I stated with the other method, make a backup first. One of these will probably work for you.
