[Q] Milestone hand strap - Motorola Droid and Milestone Accessories

Does any know any case that supports hand straps for milestone?

What do you mean by "hand straps"? Something that wraps around your hand, and the phone?
I know there are armbands for sport training for cellphones, but I've never heard of this.

best pouch to protect dell streak from cracking screen?

i usually place phone in my right front pocket
what the best pouch or case that protect streak from cracking if placed there? i dont want to use holster clip (i like pouch beter because it also protect the screen)
i also read that even otterbox defender cannot protect the streak from cracking it screen...
any idea? some people use the case from other gadget, like the old school pda hard pouch or nintendo ds pouch
I am currently using the Defender and I don't really see a means of cracking the LCD other than to drop it while using it.
It would be very difficult to bend it in your pocket without you feeling some noticeable stress on your leg.
I personally would not trust any other case for my Streak. I looked around and price was not an issue but just didn't see anything else that looked solid.
The belt clip is removable. It also acts as a stand which is very hand.
Good Luck and let us know what you end up with.

anybody tried the Incipio cases for the Vivid?

Did a search and didn't see anything on it.

haven't ever owned an incipio case but I am looking to get something new because the Defender is just too big
Looks well made from the photos. If you are looking for a case that can be used with a holster, consider the Seidio Active.

I have seen that one but I seem to have a pet peeve about having the screen face inward in the holster
yes, completely irrational but I still have it. also, how bulky is it?
Not bulky at all. I think there is a thread that has user photos showing the thickness. I like the inward facing screen because it protects the screen. Good idea if you wear it on the hip. Seat belt buckles, a hostile work environment, preschoolers with steak knives. These things can wreck your phone.

would it easily fit in a suit jacket inner pocket without being noticeable?
Certainly. They have maybe 3 different models for the Vivid. Check for them on Amazon.com.

open face case

anyone bought the 'open face' or the '2 in 1' which is the 'open face' plus a flap that you can button onto the 'open face' case from fortte.com ? 39.99 for the 2 in 1 and 34.99 for the open face version.
Not everyone likes these open face ones but I just love these as I love the clip which I clip onto my belt (or shorts) and am able to just look down at my phone for 'time" (yeah i don't wear any watches); so I've always had Krusell flex orbit cases, however they don't make one for the vivid, i guess they only make the orbit flex (the open face one) for phones that are under certain weight and vivid is a little on the heavier side. anyway, if anyone had bought one of these, let me know of your thoughts. also, i found another open face case on ebay:

if anyone bought this before, let me know how you like it.
thanks.
I work in a warehouse environment so I keep an Otterbox defender on mine with the screen facing in. You can carry it either way though. If you dont mind the extra girth on the phone, the OBD is the way to go. Ive had cases like the one in the ebay listing you posted and they do alright, but the belt clips are pretty flimsy. If a belt clip is a must and the OBD is too bulky for your taste, I'd check into seidio cases. They make several different styles offering different levels of protection and most of them have a belt clip so you can carry it on your belt the way you want.
It is best OtterBox
Otterbox is great for iPhone but I had otterbox for the Vivid and it just seems to be too confining...it covers the screen too much..its usable but I just couldn't get used to it..went with Speck candy shell..

Blu Rex Ultra Slim - Flushness of 2nd case not as comparable as 1st?

I had the Blu Rex ultra slim case for the N7. One day I thought maybe I could "bend" the clip to not be as grippy, and it broke. Go figure, right? So I order another one, but this one isn't fitting as tight as I expected. That elastic strap inside is what is getting to me, I believe. If I leave the elastic strap on the inside and close up the case and snap it shut, the big clip which holds it shut almost doesn't grab it as securely as I'd like. I mean, it definitely grabs it, but it's not biting as much as I saw with the last case before the clip broke. It's as if the thickness of the elastic strap is just enough to prevent the front flap from coming down any further. The actual "clip bite" itself feels less than before, as if a solid drop in the right angle might knock it out and fly open. On the flip side, if I pull the elastic strap so it's on the outside of the case (so if you're looking at it closed up, the strap would be vertically on the right side, just by the big clip), then that seems to give it enough clearance for the clip to securely sit in place.
Has anybody else seen this? I've compared my new and old Blu Rex ultra slim case front to back left to right, and they seem identical (with the exception of the hand strap seemingly not as wide), but they're otherwise identical, so I'm a little unsure of why one does that while the other does not. Granted, I don't have the clip on the one anymore to see since, like I said, it broke... but you can still see less gap on the edges when the flap sits in place on the clipless one.
Part of me thinks I should just slice off the elastic strap, or else deal with it being on the outside. It's really not a big deal and oddly it helps as a "blind identifier" to quickly feel which edge of the case I'm at when holding the tablet up in the dark to open it up. The other reality is it could be the 1st case was just worn enough to settle in place, giving it the "it seems better" look and feel, whereas the 2nd case has only spent 8 hours in the tablet with bare minimal use.
Anyway, what have you guys seen? Any opinions on the table?
For what it's worth, I absolutely love this case otherwise, and considering it's only the thickness of the elastic strap that seems to be interfering, it's a simple remedy/workaround. But like I said, before I got to altering anything I wanted to hear what other users had to say. Perhaps you Moko and rooCase owners who have this clone could chime in as well.
I use the elastic strap all the time, when I'm taking somewhere far I use the strap t o hold the front flap on really tightly (Elastic strap on the outside, pulled around the back) And I use the strap to hold the case open (Elastic on leather side of the case, pulled over corners of the screen and held back in the middle by the claw that clips the case shut).

Belt Holster for Note5 in a Otterbox defender?

Hello all
I'm looking for a soft material (leather, fake leather, canvas what ever) belt clip holster for a Note 5 that is in a Otterbox defender as well.
Hopefully the holster would host most of the device but still be easy to slip out and also would have a magnetic closing clip.
Basically I need to the Otterbox due to my environment, and tried it yesterday for the first time and it was great, but the clip on holster for it that comes with that I can see is not going to work.
For the one smartphone I had before it was considerably smaller but I had a holster for that, and in using both, I know that is what I need.
So does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks greatly for any help.

I use one of these, I picked up when getting an oil filter for my car, holds my note 5 in an otterbox symmetry, as well as a nexus 6 in a slim case, at the same time. should be plenty for the note in a defender

Use this with my Note 5 and spigen case. Used this when I had a note 4 and commuter case as well.
Hey guys.
Been a while since I made this post so I kinda forgot about it, but thought I would post what I did end up getting.
Got this off ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/371557478974?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
Given its price as you can expect its not top shelf quality in materials and construction.
Basically for this unit I actually found one of some other brand that had a dif imprint on the front, but it was completely the same in every other way. So I guess point is, there is probably some cheap maker who sells to a few resellers.
Again the quality is not great and for both they had some bad assembly quality and in actually in completely dif areas. So guess my point is, is kinda a crap shoot as to what issues is might have.
But if its just a little off at first, funny things with these is they do tend to stretch and eventually mold to your phone. But will say the one I am using now even had the center part for the clip a bit off the 0-180 mark, so its already getting worn out an loose.
But probably the biggest thing I would say is that while the phone and with the otter box cover fit into the sleeve part nice, the front cover really did not close right at first.
Basic problem is that as it uses a magnet, the phone with the otter box was a little to tall an so the cover could not wrap around the top enough to meet its counterpart contact inline.
So basically the cover would just sit flapped open a bit.
For this though it actually was not that far away, so what I did was spend sometime with a heat gun and the phone in the case and just heated the outside and pulled on it till I stretched it enough that it made good contact.
Thankfully I was able to do this without doing and physical damage to the material either.
In the end the case is pretty good for me, was nice and cheap which if you're in a harsh environment like me is good as any is going to get destroyed, so at least I am not doing that to a more costly case.
Fit is good enough and while in need of a little work when I got it, after now is fine.
Down sides is I am sure given the quality it will only last a year or two, but hey who keeps any device longer then that. Also its a gamble to what ever defects it might have when it comes and perhaps if bad enough, may not be usable at all.
Hope that is help to others.
