[Q] (Help) Joint Cable (Video / Audio / Charger) - Galaxy Tab Accessories

Hello everyone. I wonder if there is any cable that add output Video / Audio (RCA) and connection to the charger.
From what I was looking in the dock with HDMI is used for the original cable connection and charging. However on the video cable (for RCA) plugs directly. That is if you are connected by RCA does not bind to both charger. So I ask if there is a cable (or adapter) that make this effect (Video Output and charger).
Or how can I make a cable craft with these characteristics.
Sorry for my English but it is not my mother tongue.
Already my thanks.

Stop MHL audio out or choose audio output

Hello,
I just got a hdmi to dvi converter so I could plug the microusb to hdmi adapter to my monitor via dvi.
However the galaxy note wants to push audio out to the monitor which obviously is for picture only.
I want the audio to come back out from the speakers again, does anyone know an app that can switch audio outputs? I tried googling but nothing pops up that forces android to output audio to certain outputs, like speaker or headset.
Thanks.
Haven't tried this app.
But maybe this will do it:

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.smartandroidapps.audiowidgetpro&hl=en (Pro version)
Tried that app but doesnt have option to select audio outputs
Just has volume options.
There doesnt seem to be an HDMI setting either after plugging in the hdmi adapter.
get a Y splitter for audio cable. get a male to male audio cable.
Uplug your speaker audio cable from your computer. Lets call this the speaker cable.
plug the y cable into your audio jack to your computer.
Plug your speaker cabe into one of the Y splitters.
Plug one end of your male to male audo cable into the other side of the splitter.
Now plug the last part into your phone. its a work around, but cheap and easy work around.
parts here:

Under $5. radio shack will cost you $9 for the splitter itself. I just got it a few weeks ago
please tell me the brand of hdmi mhl you have with a link if possible and the converter for the hdmi > dvi. I cant get mine to work for my nexus.
Got all my stuff from monoprice.com

[Q] Anyone found a micro USB > USB + Stereo cable?

The Samsung Dock has a 3.5mm stereo jack on the back so clearly the audio is available via the microUSB.. So, given i would like to charge the Note and play music in the car, has anyone found a cable that has micro USB at one end and splits to USB (for charging) and stereo 3.5mm (for audio)?..
thx!

Nope. I've only found this http://www.shopandroid.com/htc-3-in-1-usb-adapter/5A18A3571.htm
I don't know if it would work with SGN (even though you would still need an adapter from miniusb to microusb).
something along the lines of this?

USB-C -> USB-C + headphone jack dongle?

Hi, I was wondering if there is a dongle that would split the USB Type C connector on the 5X to another USB Type C plus a headphone jack. I would like to make something like a dock for my car where I would plug in just a single USB cable and would have both charge (through the usb) and audio (through the jack into the head unit in my car). Would it even be possible to configure the phone to output audio via the USB? Cheers.

You may want to read the first post of this thread: [Guide] How to enable USB audio on Nexus 5X
The short answer is, yes, the 5X (and a lot of other devices too, it depends on the kernel and a properly configured ALSA, and should be possible since Android 4.1) can output Audio through the USB connector, through you may be limited to charging slowly at the same time you are outputting audio; and depending on the device, it may not charge at all.

I already found that thread and given that this is the 'Accessories' forum, my question was aimed more towards the dongle/adaptor, but thank you

Hdmi - dp - vga - dvi - usb-c

Hello, here is the following testing I have done to the Motorola Z Play, I have plenty of resources to play with the USB-C and all kinds of Monitors and TV's.
This is the progress: USB-C to...
DP: Not Working
DP 1.2: Not working
DP 1.4: Not working
HDMI: Not Working
HDMI 1.4: Not Working
HDMI 2.0: Not tested yet
HDMI Yuv420 (UHD, HDR) : Not tested yet
HDMI MHL (UHD): Not tested yet
VGA and DVI are not working.
HDCP is working fine on my device. I'm using the latest version of Lineage OS.
Do you want me to test it more to another output?
Hi,
I'm using this adapter : M.Way Aluminium MHL Micro USB to HDMI Cable Digital AV Adapter Plug
It permits to mirror the screen on TV.
just no video with Apps which have "HDCP" video copyrights protection like Netflix
HEY
dont use the stock DATA cable since that is only USB 2.0, buy a USB 3.1 data cable and repeat those tests once again and then post it here. now those results are just ****.

Do you know the diferences between the standard of USB-C and USB, right? What do you mean???
The cables that I did used are USB-C, and the panels which I used are DP, HDMI, VGA, and DVI.
Your comment makes no sense, cause a "USB 2.0 and 3.1" are the standard USB but with different cables. Im using USB-C, which is A LOT BETTER than the "recommendation" you gave.
Really, what do you mean??

i know what is USB-C is i am talking about the other end of the data cable,
you see there are TWO end to a data cable one end is USB-C and the other end must be USB A type with USB 3.1 wiring style that means its base should be blue color and it has to have 4+5=9 pins in it please google USB 3.1 A type for more info
in india stock data cable is USB-C to USB 2.0 A type connector with only 4pins thats why lot of guys who tried to connect HDMI has been failed because HDMI needs USB 3.1 which has 9 pins.

I have never said that i'm using USB.
My dongles are USB-C to Video Television or Digital Video. There is no way my panels accepts video over USB. These are my dongles:
USB-C to HDMI 2.0
USB-C to HDMI
USB-C to eDP(Female)
USB-C to DP
Why would I need USB, while I have the actual dongle without needing another dongle for the USB you are menctioning? Can you see the photo I provided please?
The reason none of the adapters work is because the type C Port of the Z play doesn't have the HDMI/video out chipset/hardware. Hopefully this will become standard on type c phones but right now, it's wishful thinking. Maybe if this was a Mac book the type c would do video, Ethernet, charging, etc...
Let's not forget, this is midrange phone. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news on this one.

Do you use it with the moto Z ? surprising as moto has an usb-c port, not a micro-usb.
Did you manage to have hdmi screen output from a moto z [ /play/play2/force] ?
Yes, I have a Moto Z play.
I use an USB-C to normal USB cable (same cable to connect to my computer) to connect to the M Way MHL adapter (female USB input, the male USB input is for power)) . This cable is certified USB 3.1
I have another USB-C to normal USB cable but with this one it's not working (usb 2.0 only)
It's a kind of hdmi output, the adapter works as an usb screencast, usb debugging must be on on the smartphone
hope it helps

[Review] CHOETECH USB-C Adapter with Type C PD Charging Port

I was able to test the CHOETECH USB-C Adapter with Type C PD Charging Port and I wanted to post my direct results.
There is not much to say about this dongle. Once it plugs into the Note 8 USB C port, the phone immediately recognized the dongle.
I was able to successfully play video and audio through a full size HDMI cable direct to a 105 inch Panasonic plasma display.
Not pictured, I also tested outputting 4K to a smaller 4K display using a couple of random YouTube 4K encoded videos. The dongle passed the data stream with no issues.
The Note 8 supports 3.1 Type C output at the USB C port.
The display was able to display the audio and video. There were no sync issues with "lip flap" or delayed audio with the video.
The dongle also permits fast charging through the PD port as advertised (when used with a compatible cable).
I used a PD compatible portable powerbank to show this (view the photo with the dongle and phone screen showing its fast charging.)
I used a Choetech (not supplied--I already had this cable) USB-IF Certified PD cable,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N8U9075/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
For the fast charging. It is a compatible cable that permits fast charging and "super speed" data transfer.
There are a lot of these little dongles on the market, but this one does what it says it does. Similar in size to the apple USB C CCK dongle and easily fits in the cable bag.
Any questions, I got you.
More Photos
Always good to provide more..
Got one of these too, great results
