REVOlution DHD Theme - for Sense ROM`s
Since we have Christmas tomorrow a little gift for you guys. I ported the very nice EVO Theme REVOlution from manup456 (so all credits to him) to DHD, tweaked a lot of details to my preference, rebranded it as DHD and added a few hacks incl. transparency in the status bar and 10% or 1% battery gauge indicator.
I just thought that the Revolution DHD theme is a natural fit to the best Sense ROM Revolution HD.
Theme contains framework, htcframework plus 15 themed apps, so Android widgets do now fit way better to the Sense Experience (I don`t like Eclair styled widgets mixed with transparent Sense).

1. What you need before the flash
Root, S-Off, DHD Sense ROM, Clockwork Mod and ROM Manager
Install:
* IMPORTANT - backup your system with Rom Manager
* Uninstall Facebook Update (1.5.4 will be pushed in system/app)
* LauncherPro Users - uninstall before you flash the theme (Plus User delete the launcher.apk from zip and theme LPro Plus via metamorph)
* Copy RevolutionDHD.zip to SD Card - IMPORTANT Stock ROM Users DELETE services.jar from RevolutionDHD.zip before you copy to SD, since the jar (responsible for the transparency) only works in deodexed Sense ROM`s like Revolution HD and would crash your ROM.
* If you prefer the 1% battery steps (theme default 10%) - you can flash the 1% update.zip after flashing the main theme
* Open Rom Manager and install from SD Card
* Choose RevolutionDHD.zip, then your DHD boots in Recovery and installs the theme, copies the Icon Pack and Wallpaper to your SD Card
* Choose your favorite Wallpaper from sdcard/wallpaper (4 Options), if you like customize your shortcuts with the icon pack
Icons can be best applied with Desktop Visualizer (if you use Rosie) or directly with LauncherPro.
* Make sure you choose HTC default skin, otherwise theme will not show up as designed
* Note: If there is a part you don`t want to install, just open the update.zip with winrar or 7zip BEFORE you flash, delete the apk and close the zip.
Known issues:
Just in case you have Weather FC`s after applying the theme, just do the following:
Uncheck sound effects in weather app settings
In case the FC comes already after opening the weather app (which is rare) and you can`t access settings in weather app, just do the following:
Go to applications, select manage, select all
Look for weather provider and delete data
IMPORTANT: kill your network connection (airplane mode)
Open weather, this will now not be able to update as connection is off
Apply settings, disable sound
Restore network connection
Please read this, before you flash:
If it happens, that your right customize button in Rosie dock does not work after you flashed, then this is not a bad thing - no you are one of the lucky bastards with a Theme version, where I already ported the f... complicated remapping mod. This is what you need to do to enjoy that mod:
1. Download the free Launchkey Lite app from Market or download it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=818499
2. Open Launchkey and assign key either to an app or to a custom menu (then pressing the button opens a popup menu, where you can assign 9 shortcuts)

I recoded the Theme, so you only need to swap the following images in order to have your own background. Just open the respective apk with winrar, draw your prefered png (rename it before) in drawable-hdpi folder and close the apk. Then flash it with the empty update.zip

Finally a Skin, that themes also HTC widgets for GB 2.3.5 ROM, see screenshots. This Skin enables Revolution widgets (and large parts of the UI) and works both with stock and as add-on for Revolution Theme.
Please don`t ask, whether I can change the dock - the solution is limited, but at least my favorite widgets are back on ARHD.
Copy to SD and install like a market app, then choose Revolution Skin under personalize.

I want to know this because im Using Leedroid v1.2 and dont want restore all apps and data.

Awesome theme, I am probably most definitely going to go back on HTC Sense, thanks to you. Hehaha! =D
No need to wipe, just flash and enjoy. If you want 1% steps, you also need to flash the update. I prefer 10% since the 1% can make you obsessive, but everyone is different.

The status bar is kind of messed up
after pulling it down it seems fine but when its pulled back the date on the right hand side stays visible does not dissapear like it should do.

This is awesome mate but I'm already using the updated one in the sticky. However mind giving a how to on editing the phone dialer pad? I tried it 3 times and each time I get no network signal. And then the phone bit didn't work and wouldn't open. But thanks for the awesome theme

The notification bar stays stock but the put-down bar is transparent on LeeDroid Rom after I flashed and the sense dock stays stock too but everything else such as the loader works.
Is there a way to fix this?

Did you try to flash again, since it is very strange that noti bar and dock do not change? Even if I`m not using LeeDroid, but I doubt he changed the structure of htcresources

2) All .apks are zipalligned.
3) Hybrid battery with 1% battery steps (charging animated icons modded by me are included by default in all my MODs - have a look in small animated .gifs above.
4) Animated icons in status bar 3G, H, G, 1x, E, Signal strength, Sync, Download, Upload, GPS (all these animated icons modded from beggining by me) are included by default in all my MODs - have a look in small animated .gifs above.
5) Black HTCDialer (it's the he_stheone64's MOD with .png icons by me) is included by default in all my MODs..

Instalation:
For installing Kalagas_Mixed_Theme you will need ClockworkMOD Recovery or 4EXT Recovery. Put the Kalagas_Mixed_Theme_xxxxxx_vx.x.zip in the root folder of your sdcard and after reboot into Recovery and apply the .zip you downloaded...
Now your Desire HD will open with your NEW Kalagas_Mixed_Theme...
P.S. Please be patient, it may take some minutes (it depends on how many apps you have installed) to reboot....

Νο mate... All apks are zipalligned... I have no battery drain problems... Restart in recovery and make a wipe cache and a wipe dalvik-cache again and give it one day time as many many apps have changed...

I don't think so mate, cause as you understand all themers make themes as they like... and it's impossible to satisfy anyone...
I wish i could, but imagine if every themer starts to change one icon per every user... First post will be full of several versions... You understand it's not possible to satisfy every demand, don't you?

Its HTC Sence.com...I removed it and find the CPU usage comes drown to normal...earlier it was alwayes 100%!!!!!!!

This is my theme based on Black Espresso with some modifications fm myself. There are a lot of modifications and additions made to the theme. Some of the features are as below :

Requirement
SENSE ROM Base : all 1.72.xx ROMs

Root and Deodexed ROM
CWM (Clockwork Recovery Mod) for installation
PLS NOTE THAT ANY MODIFICATIONS DONE ON YOUR PHONE IS RISKY BIZ. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BRICK YOUR PHONE DOING IT.
Installation
1. Always do a BACKUP before installation. I always use CWM to backup my ROM.
2. Copy zip file to your /SDCARD/.
3. Install from CWM or if you reboot, go to recovery and do the update
4. This step is optional but it is recommended to wipe the Dalvik cache in the Recovery Advanced option. (a MUST for those using LeeDroid ROM) after installing the zip file
5. If you still encounter any problem, do a restore fm your CWM backup

POWER NOTIFICATION CUSTOMIZATION FOR 1.72/1.84
By default, the theme enables both the power widgets and recent apps on your notification screen. You can turn either one of them off. You will need a root explorer to edit the file. It's situated in /system/customize/notification_config.txt. Remember to mount as RW and then Open in TextEditor. You will see "enablePowerControl|enableRecentApps". Remove one of them (including the pipe "|").
To modify the power widgets, you will have to edit the file /system/customize/widget.txt. You can see that the widgets are ordered with a pipe "|" seperation. You can select your own widgets available as below. Max 6 widgets only allowed.

MaxDroid Icons
installation instruction
- download zip file and extract them onto your phone /sdcard/ folder
- there are 2 ways to change the icons; metamorph or use apps like bettercut
Metamorph(can be downloaded fm market)
- enables you to overwrite files within an apk. Since changing an icon requires changing a png file within an apk file, this only works if the apk file is situated in the system. Apps installed onto the data folder will not work as the security feature within android will require the app to be re-signed after modifications.
- you will see 2 zip files in your sdcard/androidthemes/ folder.
- open up metapmorph and select the icons you want to change.
- if facing problem wt apply all, try to apply individual icons instead
Other apps (like bettercut)
- enables you to add shortcuts of your applications and also allows you to change the icons. Icons can be selected from normal png files.
- png icons are in /sdcard/maxdroid_black_icons/ folder.

Ok....just finished cleaning up some files. I plan to release this in 2 parts. The first part only deals wt the rosie 4x5 and widgets ( will not touch your framework ). So, hopefully, you can use it across most custom SENSE ROMs.
The second part will be the complete theme which I will showcase later once I get my post count up to 8.
Files should be uploading once I finish off the zipalignment.

Its working great. All HTC widgets fitting perfect. Most of other widgets, too.
Only some other widgets (e.g. 4x4 Meridian player) have problems not showing up everything...
The rosie 4x5 is implemented really fine. No lag at all.

Thought it would work on Leedroid too, I must admit....its worth flashing Revolution for a try though! Looks amazing
yup it has sense... if i flash the rom, it boots fine into sense and i let it install everything, then reboot into cvm and flash your theme... then sense is not an option when i reboot the phone and it asks me to choose either launcher or launcher pro

OK....found a fix. LeeDroid build is somewhat heavily modified and is sensitive to changes on the Dalvik cache. So, do a recovery and first install my zip then go to advance menu and wipe the Dalvik cache after that. Reboot and it should be working.
p/s - thks.....having a bit of fun wt LeeDroid ROM......and it was a smooth install over AR without any problem.

T-Mobile chooser does not allow to theme a lot of details, that do belong to that theme...
afaik it does not support animation transitions and stuff like this but do support everything else.
Anyway, i hope there will be version of this for theme Choser one day ^_^ cuz those themes looks super awesome ^_^
and how about the appr. 20 apps, that are part of my themes...
Especially the widgets are very important (some are supported, but not all) in order to achieve a decent look and in CM7 these are all part of the individual apps and not of the framework. Also parts like dialer play an important role. You would be surprised, how many details you can`t theme right now with that engine. Anyway I will look into it... but not this week.
Ow, let me rephrase my question:
Is that possible to make the design without apps, launcher, widgets and stuff? Only the colors, icons and notification areas?
Oh and i want Droid peeing on apple wallpaper ^____^
Basicly, im using only 3 widgets, smooth calendar, minimalistic text and winapm re-skinned to transparent
Also you can provide a version of Theme Choser + flashable zip with app to all who want it. imo those kind of "modularity" will be better for most users who want only the color scheme or who want only programs/widgets (like all who ask for new transparent widgets at "Transparen Mod" thread )

Anastasdroid Theme
1- Download Anastasdroid from above, place on SD card and install.
2- Reboot phone (turn off/ on).
3- Open Theme Chooser, scroll to the left and click "Apply" under Anastasdroid
NOTE: You will likely get the message: "Theme Error: Sorry, this theme is missing assets for your device's screen size." Click "Apply Anyways." It will NOT hurt anything!!!
Anastasdroid Transparent
1- Read and follow the instructions in POST THREE
2- Install Anastasdroid v7 Transparent (remove previous versions)
3- Reboot and enjoy
Note: If you do not do the steps in post 3, this version of Anastasdroid will look a bit funny.

**Note: Metamorph stopped working for me. I now use ZipThemer (free, in the market.) I cannot test with metamorph, though things should work!**

Can you include XXXXX app in the theme?
As stated in post 1, most likely yes. Simply tell me the app name (ideally, the package name from the AndroidManifest from the decompiled apk.) And better, tell me where to download it or upload the apk.
Can all apps be included in Anastasdroid?
Most, but not all. If the package name includes a capital letter I cannot compile the theme apk. Example, amazons app's package name is: com_amazon_mShop_android. The "S" disallows me to compile the Anastasdroid.apk. Am working on a work-around now, but will see!
Does Anastasdroid change my wallpaper or system colors?
No. It only replaces icons.
Does Anastasdroid install all the programs?
No. It only edits the images.
Can I change themes without losing Anastasdroid?
Yes, using Theme Chooser, you can switch all sorts of themes without losing anything.
My USB debugging icon doesn't change in the pull-down menu. Why?
Yep. Known error with this theme engine; don't know how to fix it right now.

Transparent StatusBar for CM7

ZduneX25 has a quick and easy app on his website to do all the below. I couldn't get it to work (all my fault) so I did each step by hand. This is what I did (Zdune's instructions with a little extra by me!) It worked for me, but as with everything no guarantees for anyone else!

These are CWM flashable zips that have been tested and work for their specific rom. They only work for there intended rom and device; they will not likely work across devices/roms. STEP 1: Editing SystemUI.apk for Transparency

1- Download framework-res.apk and systemui.apk from your rom (just pull them out of the zip)
2- Copy to your APKTool folder (/Windows)
3- Open CMD Window (Shift + Right Click) and type:

10- Run APKManager and sign (option 16)
11- If you don't want to use APKManager, you can use drag2sign
12- Install to internal memory (/system/app). I did this by making a flashable CWM zip though there are lost of ways to do this (again, this works for me, do as you see fit!)
13- Steps 6 and 7 are optional. In my opinion they make the drop down menu look better (otherwise it is half transparent). From ZduneX25, not my own creation. You can always make it both ways and give it a look.

STEP 2: Making a CWM Flashable Zip
======================================1- Download, extract the META-INF and system folders to a new location: Download BLANK CMW Flashable zip
2- Place your (new and edited) apk just as it appears in your rom. For SystemUI.apk, place it in /system/app
2a- NOTE: YOU CAN DO THIS TO MAKE A BACKUP TOO!!! Simply use the original (non-edited) SystemUI.apk!
3- Edit META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script in Notepad++ - you can change the ui_print to fit your theme
4- Zip up META-INF and system folder (highlight both folders, right click and add to zip). Transfer to your phone.
5- Enter CWM and flash

OPTIONAL STEP 1: THE FOLLOWING IS FOR NON-ANASTASDROID USERS - MAKING YOUR THEME TRANSPARENT
======================================The above changes to SystemUI.apk do the set up for transparency. Now you need to make your theme transparent too (this is done in Anastasdroid fo your - so if you install Anastasdroid, you can ignore the following steps.)
The native file is black, so your statusbar background will be black unless you change it!
1- Simply put you need to edit the com_android_systemui_statusbar_background.9.png per regular ways
2- What I did - substituted com_android_systemui_statusbar_background.9.png for com_android_systemui_statusbar_background.png that is 480x38px. (The xml redirecting in your theme is the same for both files as the ".9.png" is ommitted.)
3- My file: com_android_systemui_statusbar.png.zip

Doesn't change the keyboard at all so whatever you have won't be touched. Just changes the launcher icons and sysbar really.

2- you won't see a preview (the pic is black). did you hit apply anyways? what does it say when you do?
