Being a fan of IS, I naturally got it put on my NC. I personally feel it adds some class to it. Its a great product. I have it on all my devices. So far I've had it on my macbook, nc, g2, iphones, blackberrys, ipads, and uhm my ipods. I could be biast.

Thanks I use to have buy Zagg IS before but then started with bestkinsever.
I am waiting for either a discount code from Zagg or when BSE will stock the Nook Color cut out.
Thanks

To those that have the IS on the screen: does it hinder the view in any way?
I ask because I had the B&N anti-glare screen protector but took it off because there was a big difference in the viewing quality.

Can you put the NookColor inside a normal B&N Case with the Zagg cover on it?

Yes, the invisible shield covers are like 1mm thick.

I don't know if they sell the full body covers, bt those do not stay on the device.

I haven't used one on my nook yet, but from use on my phone and iPod, I can tell you that they significantly obscure the screen. Shield they do, but invisible they ain't. I do like using them on the nonscreen parts, though, because I like how they feel.

1mm?!?! That's pretty thick!
I found that the IS shield felt very rubbery. Not a slick surface for sliding the finger.

ZAGG skin

I dont know if any of you new but zagg has already a skin for our mobile
the screen protection in my opinion is bad (orange skin texture....) but the rest of the protection (the back and side) is good i mean...to me it doesn metter the texture in the rest of the phone (just in the screen) i will order the Full Body Maximum Coverage.
www*.zagg.*com/invisibleshield/lg-optimus-2x-cases-screen-protectors-covers-skins-shields.*php
take the * to see the link
sorry for my bad english:S
do think twice before applying it....
cus it was too sticky, and my last experience is it tear off the original coating when i put it off..........
may be they have improved it and may be the optimus can tolerate such stickiness....
but think twice..... and good luck...
In my previous phone (samsung i8910) i have used it and nothing to blame except the orange texture on the screen and removed it with no problem at all. Maybe your protection had a defect....dont know its odd :S
still waiting for it
do you know if the display skin covers de curved glass on the edges of the display?
FYI, my experience with ZAGG products has never been spectacular. It's a soft plastic that is sticky on the outer side and get easily damaged.
i think it doesn't you can see it on the pictures in zagg's website. still wating for it..i think it will never came

I'have it with my LG Optimus 2x, I bought only the screen protector.
Very good skin from screen, I've use Zagg from my HTC Hero.
For the Optimus 2x, a case with a kick are available on expansys for $20
I always use zagg protectors for my gadgets, never had a problem with them. They remove easy leaving no sticky stuff behind, and the front protector fits perfectly to the curved screen.

I had a Zagg screen protection on my old HTC Desire and didn't like it one bit. It was not "invisible" at all and felt overall sticky and soft.

I just got my full body today. I have been using the Zagg ones for my last three phones. I have tried to put it on the LG but but the small front left cut (the censors are) was supposed to be left behind when you pill the shield out but it didnt, this meat I had to pill it out on my own which took a lot of efford. I have taken the shiels out because the inside is now not as clear as it was when I first pilled it off. Any one any idea how to clean the screen side of the shield?
Installed Zagg Invisible Shield screen protector.
As people have mentioned it has a texture like an orange skin.
It's kinda "sticky" and adds alot of friction for the screen.
I don't mind the downsides since it fits really good and the screen is really well protected now.
To sum up: this product isn't for you if frictionless usage is important for you
Is it possible to get the original LG screen protector. I have a little scratch on it right in the middle and it is annoying.
I don't know if a new screen protector will help but is it possible?
EDIT
I've been searching around and at the G2x forum's they want screen protectors from phantom skinz, martin fields and Clarivue protector. The phantom skinz protector on the website is only for the G2x, but the O2x and the G2x look the same right? Only the software is a bit different.
Any thoughts
Im using ZAGG invisibleSHIELD on my screen. Im whery happy whit it. I had ZAGG invisibleSHIELD full cover on my old SE W995 also. It was like new after two yeas.

Skinomi TechSkin=WIN!

I just put a Skinomi TechSkin on my NookColor. I am really impressed with this product. I didn't use the screen protector that came with it because I use the anti-glare one from B&N, but the skin is really nice. I got the carbon fiber look and it has a great texture. It is a little tricky to install because of the cutouts for the Nook logos and since the screen is so big, it's a little tricky to keep everything in line, but it wasn't too bad. My install job isn't perfect, but it's pretty good. I would highly recommend this product. It comes with pieces for the edges too, but I just don/t feel like they'll stay put, so I didn't install them. I might give it a try though since that is where damage is most likely. I got mine from Amazon for $23 shipped.
do you have a link to the skin?

Nice! Just put the same one on mines, looks AWEOME!! Ill check that screen protector out, didnt like the one they shipped. I didnt do the edges either, I used the edge strips on my stylus lol. Definitely feels "grippier" with the skin on, and it fits nicely (especially around the n logos).
Are most people using this skin for the Nook?
I just got my Nook a couple weeks ago with the CrazyOnDigital Black Leather Case. The only problem is the nook slides around alot in it which will put some wear/tear on the device.
Will the nook still fit in the case nicely with the Skin on it?
Are there other options out there?

There are some silicone wraps out there, but those might add too much bulk. I have the Roocase, not the CrazyOnDigital one, but it fits fairly snugly so I'm not sure how much padding you'd need.

Matte / Anti-glare screen protector

How does it feel and look? Mind sharing pictures; screen on, screen off, under direct lighting or sunlight, please
I noticed this, that many just cover the actual touch portion. I have a clear Zagg from the Nook Color that fits like this on the N7.

I bought the roocase screen protectors (2 HD and 2 Anti-Glare) and I can say that they are decent screen protectors. BUT you have to get it dead on when applying it as their is no room for error and also at the very top of the glass (above the camera) all the way across it is literally .4mm too short and leaves some glass showing. Not too bad as the screen is scratch resistant in the first place

A month and a half later...
I had amcase matte screen on my n7 for a bit. I got it from amazon. The protector itself was well made as it was sturdy and stiff, not a flimsy cheap feeling. It felt really good on the fingertips with the characteristic matte texture and it did not effect sensitivity, brightness, and color reproduction. Also it limited smudges by a huge factor and did a really good job diffusing the sunlight during outdoor use.
But in the end, one of the best things about n7 is its clear high def screen. Since matte screens make the screen appear fuzzy and does distorts contents on screen I decided to oder amcase clear screen. Am much happier but it does get lots of smudges that needs constant cleaning.
Hope it helped.

If I was the only one using it I would but I have a 11 year old that loves fruit ninja and cut the rope and LOVES her long nails. i know that the screen will be able to withstand it but I don't want to take that chance.
well i use screen protector on my mobile but not in my tablet reason is that it does not get mixed with keys coins etc so no harm ,also the new coatings of screen are scratch resistant, thats my 2cents

PLEASE, no one mention garbage like zagg. thanks..
Just an FYI, Amazon has that same ArmorSuit for a few bucks less
In my experience, they always make the screen look awful. It's made of gorrilla glass anyway, thats the point is that you shouldn't need to use a screen protector.
As Dja357 said, it's made of gorilla glass. No screen protector needed.
I ordered some $5 protectors off ebay for mine.. i mainly like them for anti-glare.. BUT it does just destroy picture quality
As for scratches.. my fire's protector has a huge gouge across it. and no idea how it got there was worth the money to protect it
The screen quality does go down a bit with some protectors, but they help with glare and make it easier to clean too. I'm going to wait and see what type of case I end up finding before I decide on a protector though, its slim pickings right now
I'm more concerned of the back. But back protector is ridiculously overpriced right now
Sent from my beloved home phone.
Call me a crazy noob but I just took some scissors and snipped off the tab for removing the protector that came on the nexus 10. I left the original screen protector in place. It fits perfectly, there are no bubbles, no trapped fibers it is the best installed screen protector I've ever had. I will admit it is not quite as smooth as the exposed gorilla glass around the front camera and sensor but it is close and I have the piece of mind that should any horrible accident (or even a minor one) befall my tablet, I know that I can always rip off this screen protector to see a perfect piece of glass, untouched by human hands, beneath. Having a screen protector, for me, is mostly psychological.

Plus 1......whenever a bubble appears I just slide it off with my finger easier than any paid protectors. No dirt/lint on corners. Screen quality is beautiful even with it on so I can't imagine with it off. I'm sticking with this original until a smart cover with glowing reviews come out...

Finally light weight protection

Doesn't look like there's a cutout for the SD card. Other than that, it might be nice.

If we talking about really light weight protection then only ones are film protectors.
Example
I use similar (only clear style at another seller) on my all items. Yes, they are not cheap, but your item looks like original and same time protected. Also covered my phones. Only thing that i use anti-glare screen protectors.
I hate other covers because then i have on my hand some cheap piece plastic, not item itself.
But this is only opinion.

Has anyone used those ArmorSuits? I am looking to get a screen protector and thought that the caseen looked decent (saw them on another thread.
Any recommendations for a good screen protector?
About ArmorSuit i cant talk right now but i use Skinomi TechSkin on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 and both phones. Wonderful! You can try to scratch it with nail with normal pressure. Yes you get scratch line but on next day its gone. Its not sticky or sleek. You feel your item very good and safe on hand(s).
I never used these screen protectors which ones was included on Skinomi TechSkin.
Screen protectors i used all time only anti-glare at PDair, EXiM and CitiGeeks. Bestest are still PDair ones (right now on both my phones). CitiGeeks anti-glare is right now on my Galaxy Tab. Yes i have some scratches on it and seems i need replace it soon, but its normal. No some anomaly with these screen protectors. All these you can remove any time, just wash with water and soap and attach back, if some corner started lift away.
For Nook HD+ i ordered Fosmon anti-glare. I hope they will be on place tomorrow and then i can say what kind of these are.
I got Fosmon anti-glare screen protector today. Applied. Like other screen protectors. All is OK. No anomalies and touch sensitivity is good. But ...
I placed my Samsung SGS2 with PDAir anti-glare screen protector, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with CitiGeeks anti-glare screen protector and Nook HD+ with Fosmon anti-glare screen protector to table. And surprise surprise ... guess what ... there huge difference on look. Best is PDAir screen protector, then comes CitiGeeks, then Fosmon. Actually this Fosmon feels under finger roughly. Cheap is cheap.
Later today, when i will be at home, i can place EXiM to this sequence too (its applied to my son laptop).
But anyway, this is only my opinion that makes this list and result that: "I'm not so rich to buy cheap things!"
I bought XtremeGuard LCD FULL BODY off ebay. 4 days with it and so far so good. It is a 2 piece clear product. Its a wet application which went on 99% perfect. There 2 specks of dust on my screen. It was my fault and the back went on perfectly. I don't want to add more weight unless someone makes a tight fitting flat matte slim cover.

I used caseen anti glare, decent but you could see some pixelation. Went on well, good color. I think since pixel density is so high on nook that some matte surfaces may not work so well. Have a b&n smooth saver on now, but a little sticky to my stylus...the search goes on

I actually ordered for testing today XtremeGuard full body for my SGS2.
Find XtremeGuard on ebay and look their attached video. Whatever film or screen protector you use, you can apply it this way like on video. And i can say that everyone can do this and get later very good endless and look. Only thing is clean place where to do it.
Yes xtremeguard has an ebay store (I am not affiliated with them) which is cheaper than their online site. Bought the Nook HD+ full cover and iphone screen for my wife. My problem with all protective covers is I can't find a good place with no dust. Even tried the hot shower once, but the I have exhaust fans which I think spread more dust.
I hope someone finds/creates a tight rear cover soon. I'd def buy one.
