I was lucky enough to get a Realook screen protector for my Vibrant. Man those things rock. I have been looking to get a Realook SP for my Nexus S, too, but for some reason Realook has yet to release one, even though the phone has been out for two months. I am sick of waiting. Anyone know of any Realook-like screen protectors? That is to say, glass-like feeling and dry application? Preferably a two-pack since it is very easy to get dust under dry-application ones and it would be nice to have a backup.

Already got a 5-pack of those for $1.99 (The 5-pack is available on Amazon, sold under the name of EZ Guard, but the product is the exact same as Xtreme Guard). Those SPs have that "orange peel" feeling, not the glass texture similar to Realook.

What wet-application screen protector feels the "smoothest" like the original glass? I know ZAGG is very rubbery but I've heard Ghost Armor is smoother... was wondering which was the smoothest out of ZAGG, Ghost Armor, BSE, Skinomi, etc.
Yeah but what do you expect? The speaker and camera are up there. It is amazingly clear and smooth. However, it scratches very easily.

Just out of curiousity, why would you want a screen protector? All of Samsuns S models have gorilla glass. The screen is virtually impossible to scratch.

To the "It's gorrilla glass" people, doesn't matter. It can still scratch. My Captivate has a very few small scratches on it. However, I still vastly prefer the naked glass to the noticable only under the right light and cleanliness scratches.
Do we know that it's gorilla glass? Since the screen is curved, all bets are off.
My favorite protectors are the ones by dcmugen88 (eBay) and Martin Fields. They are basically the same but Martin Fields is crazy expensive. Sadly dcmugen doesn't have any items for sale right now.
Saw this one in AMAZON. Doesn't look bad at all, ad lifetime replacement sounds nice.

Had a Samsung Fascinate that has a tiny scratch. You can barely see it unless you get the lighting just right on it but its still annoying. Of course I don't carry around diamonds or do anything rough with it but gorilla glass can be scratched by certain things so do your research. I have a Nexus S now and I probably plan on getting a screen protector this time but who knows. I just get thrown off with having to spray something on my device to get the InvisibleSHIELD on.
Had invisibleshield put on as BB said they would do it no charge. Had Ghost Armor on my Incredible and this does not have as good a feel (imo) BB said give it a day so I will.

I'm not sure how that specific one is, but i just got myself their snap-fit shell case (http://www.boxwave.com/samsung-nexu...amsung-nexus-s-snap-fit-shell/bwpdd/tzw-zfkz/) and it looks / feels pretty good on first impression.
I also got their cleartouch crystal screen protector and my screen finally looks gorgeous (like it always had, whenever I'd peel off my old protectors).
the cleartouch protector doesn't reach until the top and bottom edges of the phone - but that's probably a good thing, because the NexS has a curved glass.

once you use it "naked", you will never go back. tablet's screen is not easy to scratch like a phone's since we don't slide it in and out the pocket regularly

If I was the only one using it I would but I have a 11 year old that loves fruit ninja and cut the rope and LOVES her long nails. i know that the screen will be able to withstand it but I don't want to take that chance.
well i use screen protector on my mobile but not in my tablet reason is that it does not get mixed with keys coins etc so no harm ,also the new coatings of screen are scratch resistant,thats my 2cents

In my experience, they always make the screen look awful. It's made of gorrilla glass anyway, thats the point is that you shouldn't need to use a screen protector.

As for scratches.. my fire's protector has a huge gouge across it. and no idea how it got there was worth the money to protect it
The screen quality does go down a bit with some protectors, but they help with glare and make it easier to clean too. I'm going to wait and see what type of case I end up finding before I decide on a protector though, its slim pickings right now

Call me a crazy noob but I just took some scissors and snipped off the tab for removing the protector that came on the nexus 10. I left the original screen protector in place. It fits perfectly, there are no bubbles, no trapped fibers it is the best installed screen protector I've ever had. I will admit it is not quite as smooth as the exposed gorilla glass around the front camera and sensor but it is close and I have the piece of mind that should any horrible accident (or even a minor one) befall my tablet, I know that I can always rip off this screen protector to see a perfect piece of glass, untouched by human hands, beneath. Having a screen protector, for me, is mostly psychological.

Plus 1......whenever a bubble appears I just slide it off with my finger easier than any paid protectors. No dirt/lint on corners. Screen quality is beautiful even with it on so I can't imagine with it off. I'm sticking with this original until a smart cover with glowing reviews come out...

I can vouch for that... Had it on my iPad screens because believe it or not iPad screens skratch with NOTHING so I learnt my lesson and put protectors on. I had Spigen protector and even though they are pricey NO BODY including myself ever noticed there was a protector on top of the screen.

I have a spigen on my galaxy note, I'm gonna get a n10 soon and definitely will buy one for it , and with two kids a screen protector is a no brainer, you can't tell the difference with the spigen on it. Is an awesome screen protector.

My question is can someone tell me what screen protector to buy for the G2. I have done some searching and have noticed they are different from manufactures. Some of the protectors dont have the holes cut out for the sensors that are between the front facing camera and the ear speaker? Would that make a difference in anyway? Would it interfere with the sensors ( or whatever they are) if the screen protector covered those? I thought about doing that but didnt figure they were any good. Isnt there screen protector cut out from the front facing camera all the way to the right side of the speaker? I would rather have something like what Skinimi has done with the holes cut out. Also do you or anyone have any idea if we can put a screen protector over the two sensors next to the front facing camera and ear speaker? I was wondering what you guys thought of the tempered glass screen protectors I have been using one since I purchased my phone and I like it but I bought a cheapie one on eBay (nothing wrong with eBay I'm just saying even for eBay it was a cheap one) and its not sticking on the edge. I paid a little more for my wife's GlasT on her IPhone 5S and its perfect. So basically I wanted know if you guys think something out there is better than the tempered glass screen protectors before I dish out the money on a better one. Or is anyone else using a tempered glass protector having the same problem with it not sealing all the way to the edge. A buddy of mine has an G2 as well of a different brand and hes said the same thing happened to his. It doesn't look terrible just a small area all the way around the screen where it's not making contact.

I simply used alcohol and a cotton ball, no finger prints after cleaning whatsoever, then used the pink sticky film to remove all small particles from the cotton ball and any dust not seen by the nake eye.
But i will say though that the finger print resistance is almost non existant now. It really makes me appreciate how the stock glass is just that sweet. But all said and done, im satisfied to an extent.. if something comes out that is unanimously better than ill change.
