[APP] - Tv.com

Just downloaded a new App from the market called Tv.com... For those missing the Sprint TV app, this is a very good replacement... and it is free!
Be sure to check it out...

Yup, very good app. I'm on edge and the videos still load pretty quick. Only downside is it's a cbs app so channel listing is rather limited.

Great start! I wish it wasn't just clips of Showtime shows. Hope more gets added.

its free but with 2 major downfalls..
1 every shows is made into 1-2 minute clips which is annoying as hell to watch.
2. it does not make use of the full screen its like youyube used to be when you were not on wifi

Very nice. The resolution is way better than the Sprint TV app, sound quality is good, and I'm not seeing skips or pixelations.
Now if only the other networks would work on their offerings plus have Netflix streaming... oh to dream...

They do have full episodes on the app....and they are full screen...maybe you should leard how to use the app before posting bad reviews

I would love it if you could tell me how to find a full episode of any of the CBS shows. I have looked all over the app and can only seem to get the segments.

they have CSI full episodes...also Numb3rs...been watching for a while now....also on classic tv they have the twilight zone...good memories....there is more haven't vheck all the channels yet....

So where can I download this? What do I search?

The iTunes store. I don't pirate my music, and iTunes MP3 files are really great quality + DRM free.

I have a Zune subscription. Not able to use it on an android phone of course (haven't gotten my phone yet), but works wonders on my Zune HD.

I get mine off of Amazon. Quick, relatively inexpensive, and relatively good quality.

I'm using doubletwist. I just installed imusic to try it out, but doesn't seem to be working rift. Either that or I'm missing something.

Try Music Junk guys..I don't think it's on the market but it's on 4shared. It's really slick.

I've used Amazon sometimes which is good quality. But mostly from my CD collection!

2. Tango: Best Video Calling App that works better then QIK and fring as well as cross platform to iphone on 3g
3. Websharing: Awesome wifi file transfer that allows you to use 3g and wifi to share files from your phone to computer including, cutting,pasting upload delete.
4. Printer Share (Not Free but worth buying): Great Wifi printer app that lets you print anything you want off your phone..
5. Tune in Radio: Web Radio as well as streaming your local FM Radio Stations!!
6. Shazamm Encore: Awesome Music Identifier by listening to the song.
7. Slingplayer Mobile: If you have a slingbox this allows you to watch your cable box anywhere you go as well as records shows and what not
Games:
1. Trap: Jezzball Clone however more fun with power ups and items, so addicting!!!
2. Rat's Retaliation: Perfect Clone Of "Rodents Revenge"
3.Drums: Best Drum Set ive used on the market for free.

These are my favorite free apps and they take me back to Microsofts Entertainment Pack, gotta love those games.

Heytell works really well. Its similar to TIKL but can be used across phone platforms.
Soundhound works much better than shazam.

i've been trying to find a file sharing program similar to websharing that you have listed but the exact opposite. i want to view files on my pc with my phone ive tried all with no luck that i could find

Check out DropBox. It is pretty cool and might do what you want.

I'm not sure dropbox can stream videos. That's the main thing I would like to use. I've tried orb and it would setup correctly but the phone wouldnt see it

Spiderman HD and Stunt Jet Cars are two best games I played so far and they play and look more like PS2 games.

Oh and NewsRoom is the app that I use the most.You can read tech and other news feeds real eazy.

TIKL Works from android to android to iphone, i mean no one i know have any other type of phones.
In my opinion Soundhound blows, i tried using it and it can not identifiy well at all, shazamm usually finds everything.

Stunt Jet cars i play on my ipod touch and i love it and i have it on android so just a bonus. Ill have to try the spiderman game.

I haven't gotten it to work yet, but I think that VLC has some promise for streaming media.
DropBox is great for just sharing files.
As far as other stuff I've found...
If you are an MMO junkie, there is Pocket Legends of course to get your mobile fix. But to check in with your friends, Ventriloid (free Ventrilo client) is a MUST have.
Until Skype gets their act together, check out ooVoo - does great video chat and has a desktop client! The paid version lets you do up to 6 way video conferences.

I can't find this game???? where is it? jet car stunts? or stunt jet cars??? or spiderman HD

I prefer TiKL over HeyTell. HeyTell is not realtime. HeyTell is not real PTT. It's got a purtier UI though.

You really shouldn't mention being able to get apps for free. A paid app is paid to compensate the developer and even if you aren't directly to the pirated app you are supporting it which goes against everything these forums stand for.

Need for Speed is great.. best racing game on this phone IMO,

To get orb to work over 3g (should already work over wifi) you will need to edit your RTSP Proxy Address one of two ways...
The first way requires that you know your MSL code for your phone... Enter ##DATA# into your dialer and you will be taken to a hidden menu, from there go in to Multimedia (or 'Edit->Others->Multimedia' if your on DK28 (or other Froyo)) and change the RTSP Address to 0.0.0.0
The second way requires that you have LauncherPro, ADW Ex (newest regular ADW might work too), or Any Cut installed on your phone. Just add a shortcut to one of your home screens and choose 'Activities->com.android.hiddenmenu->Multimedia(.Multimedia_Edit)' (as listed in DK28, may be slightly different in DI18)and then change your address as above. If your running ADW, you may need to choose Custom Shortcut, and click on Pick an activity to create the shortcut.

I've been using droidstreamer for a little over a week now. It does NOT have many vids. But, it does have full length movies and tv shows for streaming. It worked in 3g and 4g for me. And it's free . I usually just download shows and movies to my sd card and play through my video player though.

[APP] TWiT for WP7

As a huge fan of TWiT, I wanted my own Audio-only App for on the go. I received permission from OMGChad to use the Logo/Title.
Hopefully others will like it, if not, it's really for me in the end.
Waiting for acceptance in the Marketplace still...

The App is free and ad-free, except for when you listen to the audio feed, which most of the time the screen will be off, as it is just audio being streamed.
As for HTML5 Video Stream, for the episodes it can be done and a small version of it has been put in our Beta. Sometimes has issues as we have to scrape the video URL's from a clunky and not-so-proper XML File.

What apps do you guys like the best? Which one are the most used and most useful?
Here are mine.
Allcast since I cant mirror my videos or photos on my Samsung and LG smart tvs I found this app very useful. Premium version is £3 and there is no limit video lengths.
Amazon App Store gives a paid app for free everyday. Some can find them quite rubbish some can find them quite useful and occasionally they do free apps weekend where I have downloaded very good apps such as Shazam encore, Officesuite Pro 7, Tunein Radio Pro, Runtastic Pro, Sketchbook Pro, Swype Keyboard, The Chase (game) etc.
App of the Day is giving a paid app for free daily too.
Hotukdeals is an app is your access to deals, voucher codes, freebies and savings right on your mobile device. Never pay retail price again.
Dolphin Browser or Mozilla Firefox are good browsers where you can play flash videos by downloading Adobe Flash Player for KitKat 4.4.2.
Adblock Plus for Android is good for blocking ads but not as good as Adfree. If you are rooted I would recommend using Adfree.
