[ROM] HTC Droid Incredible Stock ROMs w/malware patch(NOV OTA) (UPDATED 3/14/11) - Droid Incredible Android Development

Original content was outdated. Many ROMS have superseded this, and there have been several official releases since. Removing links and content to prevent further confusion.

Welcome to XDA! I'll be looking out for your rom, gotta try em all
I'd thank you, but the XDA app doesn't do that yet.

True enough, the most recent 'stock' rom I could ever find was the one posted by the Virtuos team which far as I could tell was based on the October release, not the most recent November OTA. I searched and searched but never did find the November OTA in any form.
Is it at all possible for you to release the November OTA in RUU or PB31IMG.zip form for people who truly want to go back to 99% stock (no root or any of that, I say 99% because RUU doesn't affect S-OFF) for warranty claims or whatever?

I'd also like this. Thanks for the rooted version though

For the last two posts, I believe they have it on http://www.shipped-roms.com
Sent from my Droid Incredible running Myn's Warm Two Point Two RLS5.3.

shipped roms only has the 3.21 update but as soon as it is installed you can update and reroot. I have been wanting a stock sense with speed tweaks so i can have a good base for launcher pro. will this give me help me out with that.

Thanks very much.

I would recommend doing the RUU or full revert to stock, rather than using a rooted stock ROM. I'm updating the post with that information right now.

Glad you enjoy it. I'm updating the Deodexed version right now with some toys you may like. I'll post when the updated version is released. Don't want to give an ETA, so don't hold me to it, but if work allows then should be up by tomorrow night.

Consider it done. I'm updating the OP now with all of that.
----------------------------------------------------------------
EDIT: (TO ALL) OP updated, please let me know if I've addressed your concerns above.

Deodexed version is back up with some new toys. This version of the stock ROM is meant for people who want a vanilla ROM to toy with either for their own customization, or to base a ROM off of.

I D/L option 2 about 4 times it says this file is invalid
nvm i got it thx for all the info within this thread is greatly appreciated

I have tryied option 1 and 2 both give error and are not comming any where near the file size they should be.

Yep, almost certainly going to be like the first froyo leak all over again, lol.
So FYI, for those who don't know, flashing the previous froyo leak via odin, and then trying to flash back to stock JFD, was the only confirmed way to truly brick a vibrant, so PLEASE don't do anything unless you know 100% what you're doing.
This likely isn't like eugene's version of the previous froyo leak yet, and will probably flash the baseband, which is probably still irreversible (that's the part that caused bricks when trying to revert.)

[Radio] The Official Radio Thread

Hey folks,
Many thanks to the unrevoked team for all the help they have done to move this community along, and for the toys they have provided us. Please DO NOT give me any credit for these.
Below you will find a link of the radios I am hosting. I take no credit for them, NOR DO I SUPPORT THEM. These are all at your own risk, and are provided without warranty, and any damage that comes from them, is your own fault. Using any of these voids your warranty.

How to install:
1. You need s-off via Unrevoked's tools.
http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/forever
2. Once s-off has been obtained, power off phone. Hold DOWN volume and press power. This accesses the hboot screen. The PB31IMG.zip needs to be on the base of your sd card. Hboot will see it and ask to update it. Do NOT battery pull or do this on low battery life.
URL for files:

MD5 calculator to check your file integrity:
http://www.bullzip.com/products/md5/info.php
1. Install, and then download your file. Once done, right click and choose md5 calculator. Your number should match the appropriate one listed above.
Good luck, and have fun.
finally, thanks for posting
LOL let the bricking begin Adrynalyne . I am sure we will be seeing people in the IRC about this. Some advice people if ya don't know what you're doing you should probably think twice about flashing one of these. But thanks Zule for the radios and Adrynalyne for uploading them and posting them

I'm not being a smart ass folks.
LOL.
Thats truly all the info I have. Its a legit radio.
All I know is:
radio changes are in AMSS, DSP is identical, mibib is identical, osbl changed (yikes!) and osbl2 changed (most likely to reflect the osbl)
Those could all just be demonstrating a change to the chain of trust signatures. Actually changes are unknown, this is just a guess but if could just be a recompile for some unknown reason.
Breaking it down further will require more time then I care to put into it...
I knew you weren't being a smart ass.. I googled it and only thing to show up was your thread here and at androidforums

Thanks to Task for providing us this before KMM 3.2 came.

I got lucky and kept the CW zip file of it and so decided to uploaded for you guys that are wanting this.
Note this version is as stock as you get and so is not rooted..but the same rooting procedure applies so no issues there.

This may not be for you...
This ROM is for someone...
Who wants to tinker and build there own personal ROM from the stock base.
Another developer that may not have the ability to get a stock base (Like me, I only have the AT&T phone)
When you hose your phone trying to "modify" things because you "read it on the internet" somewhere you can then use this ROM to get your anus out of trouble.
You flash someone else ROM and realize its not what you were expecting, you didn't make nandroid back up, and your rebooting every time you try to make a phone call. This ROM would come in real handy
You see where I am going with this?

Dude, tell me about it!
Do you know how long it takes to upload this isht?
I had to TeamView into jparista's PC, dump his phone, build the ROM, then upload it all using his internet connection because he has twice the upload speed I did.
I would still be uploading now!
you say must be on latest OTA, what happens if we flash this on non OTA?
Scott,
In the OP you say we need to be on the latest OTA?
I had flashed TWRP and have not been able to get the OTA.
I was surprised when I read we needed to be on the latest OTA to flash your ROM.
I have been holding off getting the OTA because I figured I would just flash a ROM to get the on the latest OTA is there a reason we need to be on it to flash your ROM?
Do you happen to have a Stock Recovery IMG and I get in order to get the OTA if I am going to need the OTA I will have to get it through stock recovery

Because its built from the OTA and I didn't include a boot image. I don't have the phone so I didn't want to risk bricking someone else's trying to flash a boot image.
In all reality it will prolly be 100% fine on the non OTA but I cannot say for sure... Havent tried it.
So nandroid, flash and report results and all questions will be answered.

[Q] Switching from Android Revolution HD 13.4 to 21.0

Hi guys.
I recently flashed Android Revolution HD 13.4 onto my phone because I was unsure of v21.0 However, I saw that Blinkfeed can be removed on 4.3 so I figured I might give v21.0 a shot. However, I've heard there are a few issues with v21.0 but apparently it may vary between different members/phone.
So my first question is: what are some known issues so far?
My second question is: do I just flash v21.0 like I normally do with other roams?
Apparently, I might have to install different firmwares on my phone. However, the problem is to be able to do that, I need S-OFF. Unfortunately, my hboot is v1.54 so it seems my phone is no longer capable of achieving S-OFF status. Will this, overall, hinder my ability to upgrade to ARHD v21.0?
Cheers everyone.

Known issues:
1- you need to enter APN manually
2- can't access SIM card contacts
You don't need to update firmware, it's optional.
Wiping is recommended since it's a new base, to avoid potential bugs.
Just do a nandroid and try it out
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
I have s-on. Never remember seeing anything on the page that requires s-off. It was optional for both ROM. I just did 12.3 to 21.0 like a week ago with no problems. Contacts come from exchange and Gmail so I haven't noticed anything to report whatsoever. It has been rock solid on my One from at&t. I just backed up everything via Helium and restored. Tried Titanium and it was pure garbage and would kill my phone every restore attempt.

Cheers to the both of you for the quick responses. It seems I might just be a little paranoid with all the different roms and such. Welp, since my warranty's now void with all the unlocking and rooting and such that I've done, I might as well go nuts with the flashing and what not.

The base usually refers to which Android version the ROM is based on.
For the One, it started with 4.1.1 then 4.2.2 and now 4.3 (they're all JellyBean, just newer versions)

The base usually refers to which Android version the ROM is based on.
For the One, it started with 4.1.1 then 4.2.2 and now 4.3 (they're all JellyBean, just newer versions)

The base actually refers to the software version not android version. e.g the Skydragon rom im using is made from the 3.18.401.1 base from HTC. Hence if you hear someone talking about a new base its not a new android verson but a newer software build from HTC (uisually to iron out bugs and improve system performance)
Dont all hit thanks at once lol :laugh::laugh:

I stand corrected. :banghead:
Base is the HTC version, which in turn is based on an Android version, my bad.
