[Q] Can't buy apps in Market - Xoom Themes and Apps

I'm trying to buy apps in the market from my xoom. I've setup my credit card already on the desktop checkout.google.com. However, when I try to buy something I get the following...
Google Error-------Server Error... There was a server error handling your request. 500

Maybe they are having problems right now. I bought Monster Madness about an hour ago with no issue.

I've been trying since yesterday...

is it giving you this message for every app you try to buy or only one?

I'm getting it for everything I try to buy, apps, ebooks...

Update: Weird, I setup a new gmail account and added my cc info, and aded that account to my xoom... let me buy it without any issues.

Pay apps and Custom ROM

OK, I've got my new ROM installed and I love it. I'm in the process or re-installing my apps via AppBrain, and when I come to the two that I paid for (SystemApp Remover and ROMmanager) the "Buy" button is showing up again. I read in another forum that there should be something that says purchased but all I see is Buy. Do I have to go through the official Market in order to get them back without paying?
Anyone? I tried going in through the actual Market, not AppBrain, and it is still saying I have to buy them.
Paid apps are linked through your Google account. Try opening the Market at least once (to "establish the link") before installing through AppBrain and see what happens.

I went in through the Market so see if that might work. It didn't, and charged me for the SystemApp Remover again... grrr. I think I'm more frustrated now than I was before... LOL
I figured out what I did wrong. When I installed AppBrain again, I used a different email address in the Google Checkout. I've done a Google search but can't find a way to change it. Does anyone know if this is possible?

You should be able to return the app since it was less than 24 hours since you bought it. In the AppBrain app hit Menu > Preferences > Sign out and sign back in but with the right email. I hope I'm understanding your problem correctly
I can't figure out how to sign out. I don't see that option anywhere.
OK, I understand what you are saying, but that's not the problem. I only have one AppBrain account, which I linked to the wrong email address through Google Checkout, when reinstalled it. I will try making a new AppBrain account and see if that works.
Nope, still brings up the wrong email, I guess because it is on the same phone.

Autonooted 3.0 on 1.1 Firmware, suddenly unable to sign-in Google talk and use Market

Hi All,
Just wanted to get feedback on a problem that just occured today. So I had my Nook Color for about two months now, and pretty much autonooted it the first day I got it using Autonooter 3.0. Device was 1.1 out of the box. Everything worked fine, youtube, gmail, market and gtalk.
However today, when I tried to update and download some apps via market, it would just get stuck and downloading and stay at 0% with no completion. I also noticed that my google talk would also refuse to sign in anymore. Strange thing is my youtube and Gmail still work. Any thoughts or feedback anyone?

Sounds like a google problem, but you might consider deleting the data associated with those apps if your feeling adventurous.

[Q] What happened to the Shazam app?

So... I had Shazam on my HD7 and the market informed me that I had an update for it.
I tried to update it many times and kept getting an error saying something like "can not get this info right now. Please try later".
I uninstalled the app and went to reinstall it but now I can't find it on the market. Did they remove it???

I don't know why it was removed from Marketplace but i got a note on mine the other day when updating saying something like a new version is coming that only allows 5 tags per month, but if you had it installed before 12th May you will still get unlimited Tagging or something.
Another thing too is that it's duplicated on my phone, i've got one in my Apps menu and one in my Games menu
i received the update and shazam was under my games icon i think it was removed to update it again so it shows up as an app not a game

Well... I have just checked the Marketplace again and I am still not seeing or finding it listed any longer. I have sent Shazam and email inquiry on this and will post their response when I receive it.
Now I wish I diddnt un-install it as I now lost all the info, tags, etc I had stored in it but it would NOT update for me no matter how hard or how many times I tried.
weird the update went fine for me but the app wouldnt work so i turned the phone off and back on then it worked fine its actually really slow now it takes a while to open but it tags really fast

It doesn't even show up for me anymore at all. I updated a few days ago, then (believe I may have restarted in that time also) and it was gone all together. Right after I went back into marketplace to try to install it again and it showed up, but only with the "Share" button visible. The activity you get when an app is already installed. To this day, it's still not installed of course. And worse, it doesn't show up in the marketplace anymore. Even Shazam Encore, which was showing up at least, isn't in the market anymore.
It is now located in Games (Xbox live)

The issue has been identified and resolved, and the updated application has been submitted to the Marketplace for final approval. You'll be notified within the Windows Phone Marketplace as soon as it's available for download, this should take place within the next couple of days. If you've previously had unlimited tagging within your application, this will remain unaffected post-update, and will for all future updates. If your app is being stored in an incorrect location eg. the xbox gaming hub, it will be returned to the correct location.

No... Mine is completely gone as I had uninstalled it because it would NOT update and when I went to reinstall it, it is no longer listed in the Marketplace. My issue has nothing to do with the app being moved into the games hub.
That being said... I have still not seen it put back in the Marketplace since I received the email response from Shazam Customer Service. Can ANYONE seem to find it "re-listed" in the Marketplace as of yet?

[Q] DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket

Has anyone had any luck finding a working version for the G Tab? I have CM 7.03 installed and the market says it's incompatible with the device. Not sure if any apk of the program will work.
Man..it would be over if i get something like this on my Tab. NBA Pass also. Is this even possible i wonder.
I loaded the tablet version, it crashes as soon as it opens on FB Honeycomb 8.1. It would be great to have it working!
Im running mountain laurel and it shows up in the market. It runs and comes up to the point where it asks for name and password. I don't have direct tv so I couldn't tell you what happens after that. I wont pay $350, that's just crazy. So i'm going to get slingbox for nfl if I can confirm its running on a froyo rom ok.

The reason for it FC is it acts the same as HBO Go. You need to read up on IMEI spoof for the Gtab. I am running Beast 2.2 with the IMEI spoof and don't have a issue running NFL ticket app, HBO Go or Max Go. Each one of those apps require the use of a IMEI number.

I uninstalled sunday ticket and installed the imei spoof. after installing sunday ticket for tablets and entering my login info it still crashes. I uninstalled again and installed the standard version. This time it loaded fine but it takes the live video several minutes to buffer and the live video is so small its almost unwatchable. What version are you using and what size is your video? Do I need to switch to Beast 2.2?

I was able to get both the Tablet version and normal version installed and enter my credentials. The tablet version crashed after that. the standard version though, I was able to pull up scores. I will try to stream the game tonight and will update this post after that.

I fired it up last night, and when I tried to launch "watch live" I got an error that said "Sorry this game is not part of NFL Sunday Ticket"..still not sure if it's going to work or not.
i have used the nfl sunday ticket and watched many live games on my g-tablet so far this year with no problem. im using running cyanogenmod 7 and using the regular app i downloaded from my hd2.

you think you could upload the APK for us to try? doesn't make any sense!
edit: I tried to get the SundayTicket for tablets to work and it didn't. The standard app worked for a little while, and then began to force close and freeze up.
I had it working on Vegacomb vesion 8 but upgraded to 9 and now I can't find the APK. Anyone want to help.
Confirmed working on Vegacomb 9n and 8.1 but for those looking for the apk file you need to go to the market with marketenabler app if you don't have access to the us market. from there its typing in directv as your search word and then looking around until you stumble upon the app, it never showed up any other way for me.

Can anyone help?

All my songs that I purchased from the playstore have disappeared when I go to the play music app. Can anyone tell me how I can get my songs back, as I can't seem to find a way of getting them back on my device. Surely I won't have to pay again for every track I purchased??
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
Are you logged with your account?
If you try to search one of these you have to re-buy it?
log onto the computer and get to music.google.com and see if they are there. If they are not, then they are gone.

Yes I am logged into my account. I searched at least a couple of songs that I had originally purchased and it shows that they were purchased.

Don't have access to a computer till tommorrow. So if I am somehow unable to download all my songs how can I get back them back on my phone without having to pay for each and every one of them?

If there is not way you can get them, unfortunately you may have to download them again. Ir maybe you can contact Google and they will be able to work with you on that one and see a log or something for the purchase but if they can't, you will have to go ahead and buy them again. Usually when I download things from the play music store, I download them to my cómo after just incase anything happens and then re-upload them into the songs I have on Google play

The thing is as they show as purchased already I am unable to download them onto my phone. I was thinking of calling Google to see if theyccan help me out with this issue I am having. Does anyone have the phone in the UK in relation to app issues that I am having?
