Edited the entry in my thread to reflect the changes...let me know if you want me to add anything different:
There's not going to be a lot you can see different here from stock, but trust me there is one very important change under-the-hood; its deodexed. For those not on the up-and-up of Android terminology let me explain: Android uses these files called odexes which make it so that things boot and load a little bit faster however these files also make it pretty darn difficult to theme anything. For this ROM, Master has gone through each and every one of those files and done the meticulous job of getting rid of all of those little files so now you're free to theme your stock ROM to your hearts content! Its available in two delicious vanilla gingerbread 2.3.3 flavors: one with a stock kernel and one with a kernel that includes the Voodoo sound and color enhancements. Yummy!

I'm confused...you want someone to port a stock, deodexed Nexus S ROM to the vibrant?
Nice, just cleaning my sd card before I install 2.3.3 with supercurio's kernel. Will feedback on it as I test it out.
Hmm, tried booting the 2.3.3 stock, deodex + root with supercurio and it just hangs at the Google boot screen.
Edit: NVM reflashed and all is well
Flashed rooted 2.3.3 with voodoo.. Its fast.. No problems..
Quad is about 2400..
Linpack is about 14..

I have no problems with file transfers, I applied TW's SD fix in this rom and it works great. I actually get really fast transfers (over 14mb/s) on large files =)

Install:
It doesn't matter if you are coming from a fresh Odin or not, we want a clean install so follow the install steps.
1. Download M9.RC1.zip and place on your sdcard.
2. Boot into recovery and Wipe Data/Factory Reset Before You Move To Step Three.
3. Flash M9.RC1.zip.
4. While still in recovery: Wipe Cache Partition, and inside the advanced menu: Wipe Dalvik Cache and Fix Permissions - Just These Three Steps, Do Not Factory Reset Again.
5. Reboot Your Phone.
6. After about 10 minutes, you should reboot again to clean things up and wipe out any bugs.
7. Enjoy!

This is a Rom from Htcclay. If you know who he is, then you know that the roms DONE BEFORE BY THIS MAN ARE KNOWN FOR having superior battery life and great speed. He made roms back in the G1 days. I dont really know at the moment what has been done to the rom, but it is nice. I dont know how the Battery is since its New but you guys and test and see how it holds up. No. That is indeed the Samsung Vibrant T959 Baseband. You can use the Radios Made flashable by Scrizz for CM7.

This is Based off of Builds 9-12 so it has the call audio bug. He didn't know about it when he made the rom. i let him know that build 8 would make a better base since its mostly working. He might release a version based off of 8 at some point though.
No calling issue here but I must say this not all vibrants are the same mine is working fine.

*This custom GingerKernel from tiny4579 should be acknowledged more than just with a simple thanks. He has done an amazing job. tiny4579, chad0989, and any others that were a part of it have accomplished something incredible with this kernel. Everyone wanted a custom GingerSense Kernel, so they ported over the one just the EVO 4G. In my opinion, with this ROM, it is completely stable. How is it sense 1.0 but has "quick settings" in the notification bar? boot loop for me too BTW.

Dude..so sorry. I was trying to do a run down when I made the list and missed some. Adding you RIGHT now.
Can someone grab a log cat of it boot looping? I have it running on mine perfectly, just flashed before I uploaded it. Maybe a corrupted upload. I don't know.

Quick settings have been unlocked on the Sense 1.0 gingerbread leak, most of the roms have them now. Sk806 figured out it, there's a thread for it out there.

It is a 2.1 feature, but it is buried/hidden in the Incredible Gingerbread update and Sk806 was able to figure out how to unhide it. I think there are still a few features he is trying to get working, but most of it works.

It will increase your volume level counts!
Since I saw some people are complaining about android's volume control is jumping to large amount,
I decided to search for it.
And after spending several days for searching files under framework.jar, I found it.
(Yeah, it would be easy for someone but I'm noob to android and code things )
I changed the media volume level counts to 30. (Android stock is 15)
Since the code is located in framework.jar, it needs several tools to modify.
I'm attaching several rom's framework.jar so you can pick your own.
How to install:
※Make sure you have your rom file in sdcard for in case of bootloop.
1. Download the file that matching with your rom.
2. Change the name of downloaded file to framework.jar
2. Replace the framework.jar located in /system/framework/ with downloaded file.
(You can use root explorer or adb pushing or making your own cwm script)
3. Set the permission to rw-r--r-- or like this:

God, always the same mistake, forgot to backup before the experiment again . Stuck at the "M" (darkside rom), fresh installing again. Thanks anyway.

Lol I feel your pain. That was me once but now I learned to include backup with every reboot(lol, not that many but close to)

Well thank you again for finding this. Very, very useful mod.
This is nice. Just recently I was mad at the fact that one volume seemed too high, and when I would turn it down one notch it was too low! This should help I would think?
I know this isn't what this mod does, but since you mention it in the first post, does anyone know if it's POSSIBLE to increase the max volume on this phone? I find it to be very quiet... not sure if it's my ears, but other phones/devices have seemed fine using the same headphones across the board.

Quiet? I found the volume to be quite load and crisp. One of the best sound quality I have ever experienced on a phone and this mod makes it better!
