hahaha do you have another build running off of your sdcard that you could try it on? oh yeah.... to all the new people that dont know this... if your running off of nand you can still run another rom off of your sdcard without messing your nand build up
Yea I don't have a 2nd one just because I never set up any ext 2 partions and I feel just running it off an SD card will be slow

Any chance we can get the Google Maps APK(s)? That would be awesome because the market in Froyo is broken to the point that you can't even find Google Maps on it.
*sigh*
does MMS really work on sprint? I tried it on myn's latest, but no dice...

the only issue i have seen so far since adjusting my APN is now when a picture mail comes in it comes in under 900 instead of under the sender's thread. its only a minor annoyance so i have come to live with it

Try froyo mms fix. It's on here somewhere, just search for it
Not sure then. I had a huge problem with Handcent so I switched to Chomp. It works great. Maybe try using that one or GoSMS and see if the problem persists.
Which carrier are you on? I bet it's not Sprint.
You might be missing the required APN's
Try flashing the attachment, it fixed my MMS problem that you have on Alltel.
Also I peeked in the file and it has more APN's than just for Alltel.
So I don't think it will hurt to try it
Enjoy! and let me know if it works!

Hey thanks
Did you have a look at BoardConfig.mk, there are a bunch of defines that are relevant to the gfx (or lack thereof). Maybe we could track within cm-7.0.3 where those defines are used. In addition I've PM'd arco on this very subject, hoping he replies soon.

I'm looking for a better ROM for my mom's Wildfire, being an Oxygen user myself I'm convinced an AOSP ROM is the way forward.. Video recording is no problem, so this looks like the perfect solution.
But I'm a bit confused, what exactly does this mean? What about it doesn't work...?

Sounds awesome. I'm just going to put a list of suggested ROMs together for my mom to choose from... So I may still include this one in that list anyway. Anyway, I'll refrain from hijacking this thread with stuff like this.
I was just curious as to what xanthrax meant in his post. xdbg, you seemed to follow what he said, what issue was it with the Gmail servers..? Unfortunately I don't own a Wildfire, so I can test it myself to see..

Please do not use this rom. Use DevNull, it has more bugfixes and updates. Also uses less battery.

Says the same for me. Skype normal not mobile worked for me though. I tried an older version of skype mobile and it does the same. The first date was 4/30 and the second was 3/13 I think. Maybe it has to do with your current data plan?
I read this.
That is not correct actually - with Skye Mobile for Verizon you would be able to use skype over Verizon's network - I used it for over 1 yea without any issues. Until I got the thunderbolt. Skype needs to make that app compatible with the new phone. AND QUICKLY!!!!!!!!
Try searching. It's also in my Sig.
