[Q] Stuck at the n splash screen - Nook Color General

I have been running Froyo for a while. I decided to restore to stock and do some other stuff.... well I got back to stock but now my NC hangs at the big n splash screen and will go no further. What can I do now ??
Any ideas ?
PS. I can still boot to CWR if needed, but seems adb doesnt work atm.

If you can get back into CWR, then flash the stock image again. There may have been some issues the first time.
OR... there is a boot restore file on here somewhere. Did you happen to "format boot" by chance? If so, that might be the culprit.

Fixed it ... thanks : )

[Q] Nook wont boot.. stuck in boot loop!

On 1.0.1 I rooted using autonooter.. then I installed clockwordmod 3.0.0.5 selecting "nook old".. then I tried to boot into recovery and it keeps going to the page that says "touch the future of reading" with the logo, shutting off, turning on and going back to that page.. and so on..
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
[Update]
- Tried to run the solutions listed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=914690
- Doesn't Work. Nook just turns on to "touch the future of reading" screen, shuts off, and turns back on to that page.. and continuously does that.. Tried to do a factory reset and the 8 restarts..
Any advice? Thinking of trying to bring it in to B&N to return. Would they know it was rooted? I can't even get past that screen

There should be a repair file on this forum. Did you by any chance, ever "format boot"? If so, this might be the culprit, as it removes the ability to enter CWR because the boot sector is modified.
It's worth a shot...
hey, thanks for your reply!
I don't think I ever did format boot.. i don't even know what that is.. hehe
Ever figure this out? I really don't want to go back to stock. I didn't format boot either.
Never mind - found it elsewhere. You have to use cwr-removal.zip and remove the recovery. It happens if you flash the recovery and then immediately go into recovery mode before rebooting.

HELP!!!!!!! Stuck in boot loop on STOCK

Hi everyone,
I am honestly at a loss. I tried to flash back to stock using Odin (not the one click) because I was having multiple problems with my custom ROM. However, after Odin did it's magic (I got the green sign with PASS) my phone rebooted into the blue screen (Samsung recovery I assume) then I hit reboot phone now, it got stuck in a reboot loop! It won't go past the Galaxy "S" logo at all, or it flashes the "S" then the screen just goes black. Fortunately, I can still enter download mode but about nothing else, not even a recovery screen or anything. I am running a Rogers Captivate 2.2 (or at least I flashed back to stock 2.2 successfully according to Odin) but I can't actually check since I am on a reboot loop.
Can anyone PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP?
Thank you so much!
Just reflash stock. Unless there is a good reason you are not using the one click odin I would use it

Problem solved...
Entered recovery mode, had a brain flash, reformatted internal card and wiped user data. Worked like magic. I am an idiot. Thanks for all the help though!

CWM works, but Android wont boot after.

Tried to change the cover of the phone, but I did not go trough with it.
So I screwed it back together, and now Android wont boot, the screen just goes black after a few seconds. The screen works, the buttons work, it's only the OS that wont boot.
Anyone seen this before?
Solved, got the phone mounted in CWM, and Rooted a new rom
