Hi all, i've found a cool bootscreen in other section .
i've tried it out, but it runs to slow, now im not able to speed it up can someone help me to get this working properly ?

This one works perfectly in black on my DHD (really faster than the gif in fact)... Really funny ! I'm on LeeDrOiD 3.0.3 Kernell 3.1.1

How do install it on my dhd with leedroid rom?
You have to use root explorer to find bootanimation.zip. That is the standard one. Then you just move the new bootanimation.zip into that directory and get rid of the old one. I prefer to rename the old one and not delete it. The file called android_audio.mp3 is the boot up sound. You can change it if you want or just rename/delete it if you dont want it.

Boot animation themed like Super Mario...
Didn't get around to making a gif yet... so just imagine in the picture below Mario is repeatedly running across the screen and hitting a coin block. The hilarious thing here is that I really don't like SMB but this idea popped in my head and I ran with it.
for CM7 and a couple other roms put it in /system/media/bootanimation.zip
and for the stock rom/sense based it goes at /system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip
I've read that for sense based it may need to be called VZWbootanimation.zip or something along those lines just replace whatever is there.
permissions need to be set at rw-r--r-- or an upside down L on the left side in root explorer if you don't understand that.

So I've been a silent reader on here for sometime now. Used stuff on here to take my Thunderbolt, root it, MR2 Radio and DasBamf...so, after all this time I decided to sign up and share something.
As you notice, it's not 100% detail compared to the movie...yet. I am going to finish up all the detailing between work over the next couple/few days and then I'll put it up and a handful of colours.
I just wanted to see how interested people were in this.

This is Mod for the LG Optimus Elite. It comes with Green Signal bars, 3G and Wifi. I made this for user's that do not know how to use APK Manager. Everything is already done for you, all you have to do is download System.ui and push.

How to install?
-Download System.ui
-Place in SD card and use ADB or a File Manager to push the apk
-Push system.ui to System/app and overwrite the current one
-Your phone will reboot (It may take a couple seconds)
-All done

+1 on the blue hate all the green.
Also and I know it's off topic but I've been searching my ass off but can't for the life of me find a custom recovery for the elite. I'm rooted but as we know can't do as much without it.
If anybody can throw me a link through pm it'd be great.
