it also came with a "zagg-like invisible shield" screen protector. not sure how the white one is but this black one is slick =]
i got mine off of amazon but here's a direct link in you're at all interested:

and here's the amazon listing:

That is sharp. I was thinking anbout using 3M's DI-NOC carbon fiber film. A 12 x 12 sheet is $15 from here http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com/. I did my netbook in this. Very easy to work with and great results.

Are either of these real woven carbon fiber or just a carbon fiber look? Is it laminated? Removable?

Looked at the web site in the first post. It looks to be some kind of decal and not made from actual Carbon Fiber - but I could be wrong. ;-)

Not actually carbon fiber, but looks like it. And also has the texture of the real thing which makes gripping your Nookie a little more secure. I have one of the custom back cf panels like this on my G tablet and love it.
And just ordered this one for the Nook!

not laminated, not real CF either but its very textured, like any good skin it'll come off the device without leaving any marks or stickyness.
the texture is unbeatable when it comes to skins though

nice find! i think i'm going to order a few sq-ft to cover a few things lol my ps3 and macbook would look amazing in these!

i just recently got this same skin myself and everything said positively about this is dead on.
Great feel, easy application, fantastic screen protector, my 100% fingerprinted covered screen is now about 2% - 5% if that, and gives a better tactile feel to the screen

Carbon Fiber Ghost Armor

So I was originally going to just get the screen protected, but since the guy was totally unprofessional at the local mall on the first attempt of the sale I contacted Ghost Armor and explained what had happened and they gave me 25% off so I splurged on the full armor.
My review:
The screen protector is very slick. Hardly any tackiness. I think there is a slight tint to the display, but nothing too drastic. I would say the orange peel is minimal for a durable protector. The two main things I look for on a screen protector specifically for a full touchscreen is the tackiness and smudging. This is very good on both. Slick swiping and smudges remove very easily.
Now many people are probably familiar with their brand of screen protectors, but many might not be too familiar with the carbon fiber body armor. I don't know if its a local thing as I live in Phoenix and Ghost Armor is located in Mesa, AZ, but I have yet to see it as an option on their website for the Nexus S. The main pitch the sales rep threw at me was that the matting would give me a little more texture for grip. There was a sample for looks, and it had a little texture to it. After being installed it is rather slick to the touch. Another thing I was worried about was the skin being applied with the Nexus S curves. After seeing the headache my mom had with Ghost Armor on her Palm Pre I was skeptical. I can say after a week of in the pocket the corners have held down very well. There is also a thin band that runs between the volume rocker/power button and the screen to give it a full complete look. It does look rather appealing in the end.
There is an added cost for the carbon fiber armor. I believe it is an additional $10. If you are looking for a more aesthetic appearance besides the normal clear armor and are willing to spend a few extra dollars, I think you will be satisfied. Other than the slick feel at first touch, but after being handled it does seem to settle once the phone is warmed by the hands.

Thought I would also post my Carbon Fiber keyboard too for fun.
I hope someone finds this useful as I didn't see anything for this product (especially pictures) in the forums when I was looking into it for my Nexus.

I pretty much had the exact same carbon fiber skin for my nexus s from zagg. At first, I thought it was awesome and all but after a while it loses its appearance. I was going for the carbon fiber texture that offers somewhat of a "grip" but over time it just feels like a smooth plastic.

Fullbody: Xtremeguard or SlickWraps?

I got a xtremeguard one. For the price I can't complain about the transparency and also add a lot of grip to the back if you are going to run case-less.
I can upload pictures if you want!
also currently the got a coupon code for 90% off too! 90off1
if you can post pictures, I would appreciate!
Thx

I haven't tried Xtremeguard but I installed slickwraps on my gf's phone and it's a really good quality. it's a dry install and you have to have a LOT of patience with it. I have a skinomi on mine under my case and I'd have to say the SW is on par with quality, maybe even better of a cut fit and it doesn't have the orange peel feeling like the skinomi does. It has full coverage and they provide both top and bottom front plate cover and a whole front cover whichever you prefer. It has top and bottom coverings as well. Her phone is prone to riding in my gf's purse and so far only a couple of unnoticeable nicks, no tears. She did drop it once and the skin didn't scratch. Though I now make her put it in a case, the skin remains on for front and button coverage. The only issue I had with the whole front cover was the side bezel covers tend to stretch when you're applying it so you have to trim a bit to get them to lay flat. Also slickwraps has a 35% off coupon + free shipping today only (or so says their ad) the code is luvsw if you're interested.
I ended up buying Xtremeguard, because of the price difference. However the Xtremeguard does not protect the top or bottom =/
Thank you both!
I have bestskinever. Pretty good for the price. They do protect the side, top and bottom of the device.

Sure. Here is some pic I taken with my tablet. Too bad I don't have any better camera. The top portion where the power button is located. That sp is not from bestskinever. Its from skinomi. I would suggest you to get skinomi if you were looking for more durability. As the film on the skinomi feels much thicker than the bestskinever. If budget is wat you are looking for. Bestskinever would be it.

Best skin for the G4?

I've seen great things from both dbrand, and slickwraps as far as their respective LG G4 skins are concerned. I wanted to hear from people who have bought skins, and what their experience was with each brand. It would be awesome to see some pictures of the skins if that's possible. Thank in advance!
Im hoping for some real naturals like the ones slickwraps makes for some other phones ie nexus 6.
I want real leather and or football leather wrap I can use on the plastic battery back.
Can't speak slickwaraps, but my DBrand is KILLER. People always ask me if my phone is made out of wood! It's looks so real thanks to the matte finish and microscopic grains. Looks legit. Got the the matte black for the front for a clean minimal look. (Gets rid of the huge LG logo!)

Dbrand is awesome, and ive seen how amazing their G4 skins are, but it was a little disapointing to find out that they don't offer and side protection for the phone

Hi, thanks for sharing this with us.:good: How about the grip with this skin? Does it slip out of your hands easily?

Hmm, I would say it's more on the slippery side than not. I've yet to have this slip out of my hands though (I don't use a case ATM, mostly because I haven't found one that shows off the skin properly, haha). It is starting to look a little more shinier than before as I think it absorbs our natural oils really well, hard to wipe clean. so that can also be why I say it's more on the slippery side.
We're a little biased.

Slickwraps
This is so sick... How hard was applying it?
renlly?
I've bought skins from both Slickwraps and dbrand, and I can vouch for the quality of both.
I got skins on my Nexus 5, G4, PS4, and I bought some for my friend's Pebble.
They're both doing some very good quality wraps.
The installation is not complicated on the G4. Either brand has instructions on how to apply it. They last long, feel nice, look great.
will the skin peels after a while?

Skin instead of case?

Hi, I've recently found out about skins - an interesting alternative for cases. To be honest, I couldn't find any good case for this phone. Now I'm using Nilikin Case - it's slim, looking pretty good, but has cracks in few places already. I guess it doesn't give me any protection anyway in case of hitting the floor. But naked phone is way to slippery (especially the glass on the back). So why not trying skin instead? I had hard time to find something, which has (potentially) good quality. I had to find international (on eBay), because there was almost nothing in my country to buy (only printed crap with very bad reviews).
So I found this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3D-Carbon-S...sh=item419deb1600:g:ie8AAOSwYHxWFs20#shpCntId
So, should I give it a try?
I'd vote for: yes! Looks definitely interesting, please share some pictures if you do.
Ordered Brushed 3D: Black. We'll see how it performs.
Just got my skin today! I didn't expect it so early. Anyway it's not easy task to put this skin (and any other as well i guess). I left my metal bumper, because it love how it's looking. So only top and back skin are on. Gonna post some photos maybe tomorrow

Thanks for the pics! Do you like it? Is the material nice to touch?
Yeah I like it. Material is nice to touch and looks durable. But who knows how really tough it is, we'll see in few weeks. One downside is front skin covers notification led! Because of that it's very dim.
After a week of usage I have to say it got some scratches on back (several). Fortunately there aren't that much visible.

Well, a lot of scratches, but they aren't that visible on black texture. However I've taken off front skin, because when phone was heating up (while playing some games) sticky glue was going from it. Fall damage? Well - it doesn't give you any protection from falling on the ground and any other skin won't give you any. For me it's great cover for back glass, because glass has a lot of fingerprints and is very slippery.
i prefer the case than the skin. the skins don't give much protection already the both side of my phone got cracked

Accessories Is there any good back cover for the GT 2?

As I have the paperwhite color the back of the phone is attracting dirt, and it scratches easily. So I need to cover the back with a lightweight case or skin.
For a lightweight case you can search on Amazon there are so many options, look at the review and buy it. For skins you can go for Exacoat or Gadgetshieldz they have good quality phone skins for GT 2!

I went with Gadgetshieldz Camo black mobile skin because Exacoat is too expensive. This one looks fantastic and got it delivered in just 4 days! It covers all over the edges and now the back of the phone will not get dust and scratches. Check out the image,
