Hulu error on Skyfire 1.5

Whenever I try and view videos, Hulu states that the video is not compatible with my platform....what gives?
Hulu banned the SkyFire browser from accessing the site. They didn't want users getting the streaming content via mobile phone for some reason. Initially, everyone thought this was because Hulu wanted to develop their own application, but no development has come since then.

[Android] Does ORB video streaming work?

Before I get Vogue and port Android, can anyone confirm whether video streaming works from orb.com?
You can go to test.orb.com to verify.
I was not able to play video from the web address you posted (it threw an error message), but I was able to download OrbLive (free version) from Android Market and stream music from my house on my phone while at work. I am not sharing any video files so i can't test it right now. Maybe I need a different media player installed to play the video file from the web link you posted?
Hope that helps somehow.

Hey guys..sorry if I've been under a rock, but are the contents on HBO versus HBO GO different? What I mean is when you log into HBO-GO, are you basically streaming HBO live? Or, is it more like a netflix experience with movies to choose from?
Because if you're logging in to view the same HBO channel, then I find the Chromecast function silly. But if it's anything like Netflix then I'll have to subscribe to HBO so I can get this. And if it's like Netflix, how is the selection compared to Netflix's library?
Please advise, thank you.

More like Netfilx (I think) since you have a choice of some of their series (Boardwalk Empire, etc) and some movies. For the most part it is a nice app. I have tried it on my Chromecast this afternoon and it worked well.
Now what would be a killer app on Chromecast is Xfinity TV Play (or whatever they are calling it now). It has access to HBO and Starz stuff both for me. Would be more if I subscribed to Showtime, etc.

Movietube-->semperVidLink-->bubbleupnp-->Avia/Allcast

I found this movietube and it plays videos through youtube that aren't easy to find or in some cases these videos do not play on standard youtube, newly released movies in hd such as Last Vegas and many more that the app finds, with movietube they work and then you can use the share video feature with sempervidlinkfree or sempervidlink pro and that grabs the url in a way that allows bubbleupnp ---- Full Version to use it where you can pass it to Avia with in app purchase or possiblyAllcast----->PremiumVersion I haven't tried yet but I believe that sempervidlink+bubbleupnp is capable working with many more apps that don't directly cast.
another possibilty might be for movietube-->sempervidlink-->plex
I have only tested this with Avia as the app to cast so Plex/Allcast may or may not work.

I tried this with daileymotion and it did not work on first pass, so in the place where the video is shared with sempervidlink I just used Vget and set the playerin options to bubbleupnp and that played through Avia.
Vget also has a chrome extension that requires this dlna cast chrome app and I originally believed that it would cast to chromecast as it showed the cast icon and but until trying it just now to verify that worked it does not.
Showbox + Avia Ive found is the best way currently to watch stuff. Another plus is that it can all be done right from a Android device.

Sometimes showbox doesn't work, and I was just posting a way I found for it to work. It seems like a combination of apps make it possible to play videos from almost any app that can share the url of the video being played if it is correct format.
Anyone know where Showbox takes its stuff from?
Probably South Korea

Wow!
Cool!
Now all we need is the ability to cast external subtitles along with the movie!

I started wolf of wall street & hunger games and in the network tracking app show box was connecting to various Russian sites, one of them appeared to be their version of Facebook. Vk.me
VM.me may not be Russian but Google translate said it was...
@Show Box 2.3 .apk

New App (needs Avia)
This may or may not be new but I only stumbled on it today.
Like Showbox (worse UI although not unacceptable) BUT with UK Tv shows thrown in as well.
MovieDroid on the playstore

You are welcomez.
:fingers-crossed:
Keep a look out for Tv Portal. Much like MovieDroid it's hit or miss on the mp4 format; however, I've peeped out their 2.0 version (which is in beta and has zero functionality). Once released, tv portal will rank up there, maybe even surpass, showbox (current epic app ever).
Try amazon app store or SlideMe Marketplace.
Please be careful about posting about services that violate copyright rules such as showbox and moviebox. If they are providing paid content for free, then you really shouldn't post on xda.
Thanks!
