I am 100% stock and have 0 problems with pandora. I stream it perfectly.

i'm permarooted with s-off and recovery, and am able to use pandora just fine, no force closes.

Im rooted with s-off and all is good. Try using cwr and fix permissions, then reboot. That fixed a different f/c for me.

I was having same issues and pulled the battery and on restart everything is working great.

is anyone else running fro-yo getting a force close with Chrome-to-phone?

I'm using it with firefox, and it locks up my phone sometimes and forces me to close the app. I'm running Cog. 2.2 with Foryo obviously, has anyone else had a similar problem?
I am not having any problems with Fox2Phone. Works kinda scary fast. Like it knows what I am selecting as I do it.....No force closes yet. I have used it maybe a total of 10-12 times.
I am using,
Cog 2.2 Beta2
Firefox v3.6.10

I think I'm having the same issue. I tried it with both Google Chrome and Firefox. When I send a link my phone vibrates then I get the "Force Close" window. I have tried it both using Wifi and 3G. My setup is as follows:
Stock JI6 Froyo
Rooted
OCLF
Can't figure it out why it doesn't work. Everything else is running great.
Everything works fine with me. I'm using stock ji6, rooted, and sideloading.

I don't know if you guys've heard of linkpush. its similar to chrome-to-phone, but you don't get a notification. its still fast though...I'd rather use C2P though =(

Issue using Sixaxis controller app

Last night I updated to Euro v20a and sadly I am unable to make my sixaxis controller app to work on it, I am having following 2 issues:
1. "Sixaxis controller checker" giving error like - Could not start driver. Check that the driver has been given permission to run by the superuser app.
2. Also everytime after opening this app my bluetooth stops to work? I have tried to share file but it always fails then I have to restart the phone to share anything via bluetooth.
In v10e I had no problem with this app except that everytime after using it my Wifi gets closed then I had to restart phone but now after upgrade to 20a its not working at all.
My phone is rooted and all other app seems to work fine.
Anyone facing similar issue? Please share?

I understand that some ROMS do not include some of the bluetooth protocols that this app needs. Cyanogenmod does include these by default (and it seems the current LG ROMs do as well). A version of CM for our phone should be coming out soon after the update comes out, or perhaps LG has added this to the latest 20A version.
AW: Issue using Sixaxis controller app
You should always keep in mind that it's just a leak, nothing official and I just think most of the issues we have now will be gone at the official release...
And if not, some Custom ROM's like CM will solve this issue, as it's already said above this post...
...sent with my LG Optimus 4X HD...
Thanks guys!
I already rolled back to ICS, I know JB is still in testing phase and its far from perfect though interface seems so much better.
I was having 1 issue even in ICS that everytime after using Sixaxis controller app my "Wifi" stops to work and to get it back to work I had to restart my phone infact this issue was the reason I switched to JB where I was not even able to use it at all :crying:
Anyway I am back to ICS and I dont mind restarting the phone at least its working.

Have emailed the issue to developer? After all we have paid for the app so we can request for fix also it will only help them to improve there app.
I have emailed but still no fix. Please email them.
I have USB/BT app but again there is no way to pair my BT PS3 controller without USB connection which is not possible in our device.
This worked for me!!
had the same problem... so i thought maybe with an earlier version it might work...
try with 0.5.7 that's the one that worked for me!!
Do you think there will be a new version which fix 20A compatibility ?

new versions came out a few days ago 0.6.3 and 0.6.4 supposed to resolve some compatibility issues. I already tried them both but still the same problem so i'm still using 0.5.7 in V20a.
not working for me either

i have tried your suggestion of installing an older version, starting with 0.5.7 as stated, and after having no luck any older version i could find/download.
this app is still not working on my 4x V20a hopefully they will hear our pleas (i have also contacted them to let them know of the compatibility issue) and update the app with compatibility. but if someone manages to sort this out before they do... PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
strange thing is that the compatibility checker still works for me (registering my button presses after connecting, etc...)
fingers crossed + thanx in advance for any help.

I just upgraded to v20b Europe Open, and it broke SixAxis.
I'd love to be able to use SixAxis 0.5.7, but don't have a backup of it. I am a legitimate user of the app - I bought it full price from the Play Store. Any advice on where I can get a legit copy of 0.5.7 from?

[Q] Update breaking Google Search (voice)

Has anyone been having issues with Google Voice Search since updating it from the Play store?? I thought it was initially due to a MOD that I had put on, but even after flashing the phone and updating Google Search from a clean install (stock, no root), the problem still remains. Voice Search appears to be broken in everything that uses it, even Google Translate, it just crashes whenever I press the voice key. Running the latest firmware 10.1.A.1.434.
It works fine when I uninstall the update from within the Apps list, but it means I lose the widget, which I find handy. Any help much appreciated as I just can't put my finger on it and not read of anyone else having this issue. Thanks.
Im on UK .434 and just tested it by asking it the time, worked perfectly
I also have similar problems.
It works fine initially but then will suddenly stop working. I press to voice search and it goes straigh to a message like "sorry I didn't catch that" and hitting retry doesn't work.
If i then clear data for google search it works for a short time again then breaks.
Working fine with the update uninstalled. Also read of a few others with the same problem.

Weird, also on UK .434. It's not a great show stopper, as I can get round it by uninstalling the update, but it's just bugging me, like an itch that I can't scratch!

Same for me. I hope Sony win't be as long as they used to be to fix that issue...
This is still an issue. Has anyone come across a fix for this yet?

I had this issue on fw 434, 253 and 307. I updated to 4.2.2 last week end and google search is now working.
So the good news is that when 4.2.2 will be officially available, the bug will be most probably fixed
Same problem here on 307.
Worked the other day for a bit then stopped again???

[Q] Whatsapp doesn't connect on CyanogenMod 11 Nightly has anyone else ran into this?

So after a long wait and having updated my boss's SGS4 to the sweet chocolaty kitkat, I came across an official CM 11 nightly for our beloved cappy, (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557481) I tried it and for a nightly it running exceptionally except for one thing that sent me back to SlimBean, I can not get whatsapp to connect by any means. Everything else is working beautifully but this D: it even downloaded from the playstore just fine (as opposed to all the errors said to be caused by ART) I tried all the lib fixes I found that said it got whatsapp working again but non of them did the job. Any one that has got it to work?
Try to check your APN settings. It worked for me.

The APN actually was cleared but that wasn't the problem as I was trying to connect with wifi, however the problem was fix on the nightly right after that n.n been working great with ART the only problem I seem to be having now is the occasional deep sleep which the phone wont wake up from without a reboot. Not really sure what's causing it.:silly:
You can always try a different governor/scheduler setup to fix the wake problem.

[Q] YouTube Videos Don't Load While Connected to WiFi

Hey guys,
You can find a summary of what I've done to my HTC One in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48582638.
On top of that, I've changed my Cell ID to the Google Play version (GOOGL001), I flashed the RUU with the Google Play version RUU, and I've installed the 4.4.2 OTA update from Google's servers.
Everything else works fine. Just when I'm connected to WiFi, videos don't load on the YouTube app (Vevo as well, but I'm assuming it's the same issue). I've tried connecting to three different WiFi connections (my house, my work, my parents') just incase there was an IP conflict or something; and still the same problem.
Do you think this is a problem with what I've done to my phone, the 4.4.2 OTA update, or the YouTube app itself?
*UPDATE* - I found out that when I take out my sim card, streaming videos works on WiFi. It only doesn't seem to work when it's connected to both a mobile network and WiFi
Thanks.
- Brian
I have exact same problem on my HTC with 4.4.2. I also converted my HTC to Google play edition. And did 4.4.2 update. YouTube app Dr doesn't work on WiFi.. It's so frustrating..

I am having the same issue. I think it has to do more with wifi speeds than just YouTube. I have really poor Wifi down speed (less than 1mbps) and really fast upload speed (10mbps). There is something wrong here and it doesnt matter what rom I run, and I've narrowed it down that it is not my wifi router or service provider, I recently switched internet providers, and I doubt it is a hardware defect in my phone because my wife has consistent speeds to me on her One.
Long story short, I'm at a loss here on trying to figure out what is the root of this issue. Hope someone may figure out an answer.
OMG i have the same problem. I converted my htc one's CID then flashed the google RUU. I noticed after the 4.4 update youtube videos will not load on wifi. I tried in chrome as well and they dont load their either. I just get a message saying sorry video not available or something.
This is what happens
1. click on video to load.
2. video will start to load
3. youtube app shows loading of advertisement
4. app locks up for a couple sec
5. app comes back, but it just shows the loading circle indefinitely
I thought the update i sideloaded was corrupt or something so i reflashed the 4.2.2 RUU and then manually updated using OTA and it still did not work
Videos load flawlessly over my data connection. This issue has gotten me so frustrated i was actually trying to go back to a sense rom.

We should let this issue be known all over the web so it gets more coverage. Let's all try posting this problem on different websites and forums, so somebody will find a fix. Once a fix is found, we should post the solution back here.
I found by flashing the firmware over a new rom it will work until the phone is rebooted again (running 4.06 firmware, 4.2.2 rom)
Same problem since 4.4.2 update
I deleted the application data, clearing the cache and reinstalled the apk from the market but youtube is still stuck on the loading videos (over data or wifi both with good speed).
IDIT : it works after a reboot with wifi disabled!
Took so much effort to convert phone to GPE.. with 4.4 RUU.. updated to 4.4.2.. and youtube don't work on wifi..
That is my 75% used app.. It will send video fine to chromecast.. but won't play on phone..
Wifi only issue.. On mobile data works fine.. Tried all what i could.. reset phone.. delete data for youtube.. uninstall update for Youtube..
After two days of struggle.. restored my stock sense rom.. cant live without youtube..
It really sucks..

Yeah, lol. Tell me about it! If you look at my link at the top of this thread, you will see all the trouble I went through to get my HTC One to stock Android, and now video streaming doesn't work on WiFi.
I'm not switching back to HTC Sense UI though. I hate any version of Android that's not stock. Thankfully, I have a Nexus 5 I can use while waiting for a fix. I'm not completely switching over to a Nexus device because I like the front stereo speakers as well as the design of the HTC One.
I have a similar issue:
Youtube works after a complete reboot (and with wifi connected), but if I go off this wifi and back on again, it won't work until I reboot the phone again.

Whoa, I didn't think this would do it, but it worked. I had AdAway installed and installed this alongside and it works just fine.
I'm just curious as to why it works this way now.. ?
I changed nothing it works now (no adblocker)...
Ok it stopped working? WTF!!!!!
It's stil working for me. The thing is I have only one Wi-Fi connection to test on.
Same problem converted gpe OTA 4.2.2 stock I have multiple WiFi and 2 different ISP no change. hope someone find a solution

I installed adblock plus and I still can't stream videos while connected to WiFi.
I dont think this is a wifi speed problem. My connection is 45/4 so i should have no problems with youtube. Mine still does not work
This was bothering me so much that I decided to install a non-GPE rom instead. I went for the Omni Rom 4.2.2 and it works just fine with the videos.
I will switch back to a GPE once this is sorted out, but I am ok with this setup now. Good luck!!
