Well, I was running Vegan 5.1.1 and the tab was feeling a little glitchy, so I decided to do a clean wipe and reflash it. I loaded Vegan 5.1.1 again and loaded clemsyn's kernel. Now, slacker will make the screen go black after I log in. I can't do anything but press home to get out of it. Anybody have any idea what the problem might be?

Which version of Clemsyn's Kernel? Today's latest update?
Originally, it was an older kernel, but today I tried the new version he just put out. Still a no go.

I, too, have this problem with Slacker. I just got his tablet yesterday. I immediately put Clockwork on, and flashed TnT Lite 4. Slacker was a no-good. I went to VEGAn 5 next, and both Slacker and Google Voice aren't working.

I flashed my backup I created from December of the stock rom and Slacker works. I got excited and flashed Vegan 5.0 again, didn't work. I'm now running Calkulin's 1.1, which is great, but Slacker still doesn't work.
Running tnt 5.0 and i'm in the same boat. Does anyone know of a ROM that Slacker works on?

I'm running TnT 4.32 with clemsyns V6 kernel and slacker works great for me. Its worked on every ROM I've flashed, been using it pretty solid for about 2 months now.

What version of slacker are you running?
I'm running 2.1.170 and like I said, no problems whatsoever.
I couldn't get 2.1.180 from Amazon appstore to work, but the 2.0.140 from the Handango gmarket works for me. I am not sure which version Google market has.

That's the version I think I downloaded when I went back to stock and had it working. I'm going to give that a try right now.
Any chance of getting an APK of that?
That worked. Apparently, something changed in the newer versions of the app not allowing it to run on the tab.

Not coming up in the market for me with either device I have but the leaked version works great for me, no sound issues what so ever.
I don't see in on the gTab running VEGAn beta 5.1.1 or on my Droid X.
my Flash 10.2 leak works wonderfully. no issues with sound.
Didn't come up on mine either running tnt lite 4.2.4. But done a search in the market for "flash" and it popped right up. Hopefully this helps…?

It's in the market. I dont know how much of a difference it makes since I didn't test it much.

I'm able to get it from the Market on Nookie Froyo. The prior Market version did not work and I had to revert to the downloaded Flash101.apk. Thankfully 10.2 does work perfectly well so far =) I can't see any obvious improvements though.

Spoke too soon. For some reason Flash 10.2 stopped working on my Nookie Froyo, but rolling back to the Flash101.apk worked.
Had Flash 10.2 working on Phiremod 5 (CM7). Worked fine for both flash video (given video slowness) and for flash games. Upgraded to day to Phiremod 5.1 and now can't get either Flash 10.1 or 10.2 to work in Browser. YouTube app working very well, tho.
Installed flash 10.2 last night on my froyo 0.68 emmc install from market (it wouldnt do thst for me last week). My stock browser and dolphin browser now successfully play flash and embedded movies.
I am most pleased.

Remember that the only stable installation of NC is the rooted stock B&N which is 2.1 and thereby does not support Flash at all.
SO, only unstable beta builds that change daily, support Flash.
The fact that some of the posters have it working is actually looking good to me.
Nookie Froyo is pretty stable already. The base build is not being tweaked much anymore. It's Gingerbread and Honeycomb that are still a big work in progress.

I can't even see Flash 10.2 in the Marketplace and I'm running Nookie Froyo. It's interesting to see that some are able to make it work.
EDIT: After reading through other posts, I decided to access the Marketplace through Dolphin. I can see it--but when I try to download it, I get the error message
"There are no Android phones associated with this account. Please sign in with a different account."
I don't have an Android phone. Any thoughts.

Try to find the FW Delux version g tab users...The nvidia tegra logo in the lower right corner of the loading screen makes me think it is better in our nvidia tegra tab.

I am running tnt lite 4.4 and the game downloads some files when I open it, then it crashes/closes everytime I open it. No added kernels, just plain ole tnt lite.

Same thing here but running V5. Didn't have the problem with TnT 4.2
Runs fine for me on VEGAN 5.1. Although I bought the FW deluxe for $4.99.
EDIT: Just did the update and now it force closes everytime i try to run it. Great.... but this problem has me thinking that the game not working is a result of the update and not our gtabs or roms.

I didn't change the kernel, yet.
Ive confirmed that the most recent ver of dungeon defenders is the issue. I uninstalled it and found a older versions apk (5.13 i think) and now it runs perfectly again. Too bad i lost my character in the process
Yep update kills game at splash sceen, sent trendy crash logs at their request, Mabel we will get a quick fix.
OH, forgot to mention 5.13 version runs great I just disabled auto update until they get this fixed.

After upgrading to the latest version of Amazon MP3 to my gtab (Running Vegan GB), I can can see files/music fine. But I always get a FC when I actually try to play music through it. Anyone else seeing this issue?

Same. I stepped back to 2.0.2 and it works. But yeah, it appears that the attempt to use the Gingerbread sound system isn't working correctly with Vegan Ginger.
FWIW, I just tested it on VEGAn 5.1.1 and everything worked fine.

Yeah, that's to be expected. There's apparently some kind of new sound subsystem in Ginger/Honey that 2.0.3 and up are using. If you have 2.2, it won't try to use it.
I'm curious, though, if anyone with the other Ginger roms could weigh in. Maybe it's something that go corrected as Cyanogen went forward to 7.0.1 or 7.0.2.
I am running Vegan 7.0.0 RC1 and I am having the same issue. I know it worked when I first got the tablet so it must be something to do with the update.
*Update* I did roll back to 2.0.2 end everything works fine again.
Yeah, 2.0.4 uses the new audio system in gingerbread/honeycomb. The newer versions of CM (7.0.3 certainly) don't have the issue.

I think its either sense 3.0 or android 2.3.4
I had the same problem at first. It worked fine on froyo then when I went to GB is when I think I had problems. So I went back to froyo re-installed the game and downloaded data. Flashed BAMF's RC3 along with all the mods possible for it right now along with Dark Horse theme and it works great now. At first I thought it might be the rom but now after going thru all that I know it's not.
How far does it get before it FC's? does it get to the gameloft boot animation or does it close before that? The version I have installed is 1.0.3. What version are you using?
I haven't had problems i am on bamf sense 3 and have a swap enabled and overclocked to 1.59 ghz using imo kernels

I'm on bamf 3.0 rc 4. It installed fine but FCs while checking license. I installed CM7 and it worked until I flashed the Netflix fix (minimal) so it seems that is what's causing the problem. For now I guess I gotta choose between N.O.V.A and Netflix Btw I can't find N.O.V.A 1 on the market, is it supposed to be there?

yeah see i dont know what happened to me. i purchased it, installed and it just kept FC every startup. i checked the version number and it was 1.0.0. everytime. i uninstalled, deleted the folder everything and reinstalled, still got 1.0.0. so i looked for the other online, it installed over it and boom, it works.
