In order to help you, you need to give a little more information than that.
Check again the steps of the tutorial (link given above) and see where you got stuck.

dude!!
i did hard SPL(1.40 oilnex)already...
i flashed the energy rom 2 months back and then i again flashed it back to an official WWE rom....
but just 2 weeks b4 i tried to flash nphaibk's [ROM|WWE] 2core minimized ROMs 6.1 & 6.5 & 6.5.x - Overclock to 672 MHz (30 Mar 2011)but not the latest one...
i did MTTY once..
then i tried to flash the rom frm my int storage...
but during the update i got an error(UPDATE ERROR...UPDATE TERMINATED)...
so now my phone(HTC DIAM100) wont bOOOOOt...
plssssssssss help

Hey!
His case is completely different....he successfuly updated the rom!but i couldn't even update ma rom....
The question is whether you are able to get into the bootloader mode.
The posting referred to explains how to get into there.
If you mean your phone does not turn on at all then that's another story.

but now theres another problem..
again i tried to upgrade to a custom rom...
but the thing is i did MTTY before copying the rom to ma int storage.
now ma phone boots..
but not any further from the Touch Diamond plash screen.
HELP
ican get into boot loader and other thongs....

The radio is what allows you to make calls etc, ie it's the communication between your device and the cell phone towers. The radio is already installed on your device and you do not need to change this, unless you are having problems like dropped calls etc.

The choice is yours,
HSPL is a more permanent fix and a good idea if you are going to flash often. But if your device has a problem and you return it for a service under warranty and hspl is till loaded, you will probably loose your warranty.
USPL is a temporary solution to allow you to flash a cooked rom, it is easier to return to the stock rom, but you have to run it each time that you flash.
So as I say the choice is yours. I use hspl as I flash often.

Hi Guys
As a avid folower of all the cooking and chefs i need some help
My X1 is still under factory warranty and seeing as the stock X1 was slugish , slow and plain useless i updated my ROM to the KOV110
Is there some way i can revert this back to the original factory rom so i could take it in for repairs still under the factory warranty
Currently the Sony updater just tells me to that the software is not recognized and i cant do a update of any kind
Reason i want to take it in is that the battery life is half a day from full charge and the signal drops permanently. The phone also restarts at will and hangs on ocasion regardless of where i am or what im doing.
Any help or sugestions will be apreciated

i am using a t-mobile g1/htc dream
i cant not install any new roms i have tried cyanogen mod v5.0.8 but my phone keeps getting stuck on the g1 start up screen after installing the rom ....
and when i try to install cyanogen mod v6.0.0 ... it gives a status 7 error and aborts the installation
i have rooted my phone using the application universal androot... because i cant do it the normal way so i had to use the application..
the roms were downloaded using rom manager premium v2.0.2.6 and i am using clockworkmod recovery v2.5.0.1 ....
and my dream is currently running on the stock 1.6 my first time trying to update
can anyone give a set of instructions on what to do . or upload a video that will help???? please help ...!!!!!!!!!!
Woah woah, first of all if your gonna use cy 5 let it sit for a bit and it will start up. Its installin' the rom and all the other stuff.
And the reason why cy 6 doesn't work is cause you need danger/death spl flashed onto your device.
Make sure you do a factory wipe clean and follow all the steps below the ORIGINAL thread on here.

Oh and by the way...cy 5 also needs danger/death spl flashed.
Look that up and make sure you follow the right steps.
If you do anything wrong, BYE BYE G1 it will brick.
So flash the radio first...and well just follow the steps...than flash cy 5.

Is all depends at you, there is a lot of threads how to root your phone install rom and what you should have and know for it...no one can decide about it, only you
ofc 2.1 enclair is damn featureless and ugly interface.

if follow guide properly u wont have much problem in rooting,except if u read jus few words from a particular thread and go for it
