Where do I find WIDGET LOCKER download?

In the market, like most applications.

But you're able to have an Android phone though, which is not the cheapest thing to buy. Makes no sense to me that argument of yours.

Not all countries have the same paid apps. Some don't even have paid apps at all.
But as posted above, you can pay via the teslacoil website.

PayPal isn't supported in my country and neither is buying apps from play store. What am I supposed to do? I would love to pay royalties to the person that makes the apps I love but there is no possible way for me to do it. Banks here don't allow online transactions as well incase you're wondering. I depend on warez.

Paypal App

Is this an official app from paypal? anyone can confirm this?
Yeah, I thought it was a phish too. works fine with me.
Just because the app works doesn't mean its not a scam. I tried searching on paypal's website about them making an android but didnt come up with anything. Does anyone have anything to prove this app is really created by paypal?
Btw paypal does have an app for the iphone so this is very plausible but I would just like to make sure before I give the wrong people access to my money.

I don't think T-Mobile would let this app slide if it was not from PayPal.
And yes PayPal has a app for the iPhone, so I would think this is PayPal's Android APP. & they never said anything about making a app for iphone either so.
T-Mo gets little say in what happens with apps. they can ask google to remove apps that breach ToS but that's it. i wouldn't trust the app until you have proof that PP made it themselvs
I just emailed paypal about this app just to make sure I'll inform you guys

Hmm I uninstalled this and changed my password.
I called paypal and talked to them the rep said they can't confirm this yet...
But once they do I will re-download this.
Yea, I downloaded this and it pulled my history in ok, but after some thinking, I too decided to uninstall and change my password. Hopefully someone will post something when they hear it so that we can know its safe.
Keep us updated!
I never thought I would say this but safety is one thing the apple app store has over the android market. I'm an iphone hater, well iphone user hater. Arrogant SOBs.
I was thinking about downloading it, then looked at the paypal site and they didn't mention it on their mobile page... plus it said the company name was "paypal mobile" and not "paypal"

I guess that is one of the aspect of a free and open market. Buyers or customer should also have some form of judgment and knowledge and not depend on the seller naively.
I rather have that, then being told what i can and can't do.
https://www.thepaypalblog.com/2009/05/new-paypal-application-for-android/
It's a legit app. However that does not change the fact that Paypal is staffed and directed by a cadre of a-holes.
Yeah it's legit, but paypal can be a bunch of *ahem* when you need to resolve a faulty transaction.
Can anyone post the apk of this, can't find it in the market anywhere. Even scanning teh barcode from cyrket.com it tells me it can't find the app.
Thanks
If you're not on 1.5, that could be the issue. The market is restricted by SDKs, so 1.1 users cannot see 1.5 only apps.
Got my phone rooted and using the latest mod from JesusFreak. Once again, appreciate it if anyone posts the apk of the app.

Our favourite site? Some people believe dev's should be paid for their work...
You're gonna get in trouble for this.
Damn right... if you want an app bad enough, you should pay the dev who made it for you!
How do you guys know that he is talking about pirated apps? He didn't say anything about that in his post.
BUT
If you are talking about pirated apps then really dude? Come on, most are a couple cents or a couple dollars tops which is a great price for all the that devs time and helps to insure that you get more updates and maybe more apps from him/her. Skip the restaurant that day and eat home and you can buy a couple apps that you'll get enjoyment out of a lot longer than that food. Just my opinion...
some people don't have credit cards or debit cards... Regardless I believe in supporting devs any way possible. ;] ;] ;]
I'm not going to criticize the guy because I can't say I've never "downloaded" an app for my PC or anything like that.
However, you should always have a look with android. It's "different" if you don't have money to pay for an app then the majority of the time you can find a similar one for free which does exactly the same thing. I find in a lot of cases Developers have a "free version" which is ad supported, that doesn't bother me and I just pick the free version.

Thats why u use Market Enabler....lol
Why's everyone so quick to hate on this guy, he just asked if there was a site where he could download android applications. Never said anything about pirated ones.
AndroidAppDeck yes had some pirated applications, but they also had free ones on their page as well.
As Daneshm90 mentioned, you might wanna search for the Market Enabler. If thats not an option there are sites like www.anda.pk that has a handful of apps you can D/L to your PC and install on your phone. If I come across any others I'll let you know.
So how about we actually answer this guys question and point him towards a legitimate solution rather than play finger pointer.
However as a developer myself (not of android), I will say if youre looking for pirated apps dont bother asking here.
there is this saying if you cant buy it...you dont need..lol
blapk Market and applanet
It´s open, called blapk market, now: blapkmarket(dot)com (they ask for a registration, takes a couple of days to approve)
Also there´s the applanet that don´t need registration, works better and has the same interface as the original Market app: applanet(dot)net/applanet
I have both, in case i can´t find an app in one i look into the other one.
PS.: Support the developers, if you download a paid app from there contact the developer to find a way to compensate him for his work. (they use to accept off-market payment)

ah ok sorry
I smart person would be able to find the app online, however why not just pay the 1.99 or whatever it costs? The time you take searching for this for "free" you could have been paid MINIMUM wage and get twice that.

Why dont you guys put your apps in the market?

Is there a reason? I've used several nice apps from here, but just curious why you dont give them more exposure.
A lot of them are on the market, they are just posted here too.

I think I remember reading in another thread that there was a fee you have to pay before putting apps on the market. I assume it doesn't matter if the app is free or not.

Thats true.
Its like 20$+ to be a developer for Android.
The devs may not be sure if they'll get that 20$+ back after putting it on the market and it doesn't sell as much... so they post it here
As a Dev $25 doesnt really matter to potentially get more exposure so I don't understand why other devs don't put their good apps on the market many of them are useful even for people other than power users
is $99 not $25 and not all devs are from market enabled countries
I'm pretty sure it's $25. The app store on iOS is 100.
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
The only reason I can see besides the $25 or $99 fee is the ratings.
Once an app is posted to the market you have somewhere around 9.2 million Americans with access to your app. If your app has bugs or is not perfect from the start you start getting 1 star ratings. These ratings will slowly knock your app away from any sort of recognition.
Developers on XDA post there app here in order to receive constructive criticism, instead of a market comment like "App has Force Close Errors 1 star." Instead on XDA the developers can get and give ideas to other. Then when they seem like the app is fully tested they can choose to post it to the market.

The Android Market fee is a ONE-TIME $25. iOS is yearly.
Xda is a test bed for good ideas. Said good ideas get made into an app that gets throughly tested ppl with different phone models then the dev. Then the app can go to market.

My apps are in the Android Market.
Mine is on the Market and has a thread on here, although I haven't attached the free APK to the thread.
And yeah, although the UI isn't great (I have plans for it) and I don't advertise a lot, I still managed to earn a little over $200 so far, making back well over the $25 I spent to be able to sell my app. It's worth it.

The above is a very good reason for posting your app elsewhere before publishing on the market. Most of the market reviews I've had regarding a problem didn't include any useful information on how to replicate the issue. For example, you'll typically get comments like "Freezes!" or "Force closes!" with no indication where in the app these problems occur. Likewise, identifying and fixing device specific issues is particularly difficult if you only rely on market reviews.

I'm not sure this is a big deterrent. It's a $25 one-time fee to publish as many apps as you want and you wouldn't need many sales or ad clicks to cover this cost.
agree....you will get more useful info alot faster on XDA regarding fuctionality and bug reports.
Alot of people just develop apps as a hobby with no intention of selling them. So why pay the $25?
and sometines you get banned without explanation so its a good place to upload you apk's google ban without send a warning maybe an icon, maybe something you did wrong and you couldnt fix they just ban and close you play store forever (and the next account you can made)
I put my Apps both on here and on the App Store.
I don't make any money from my apps, but I love Android because it's only a one time fee of $25 to publish apps to Android.
I was going to start with iOS but that's $100 yearly. Kind of ridiculous in my opinion.
Yup, Google Play is only a 1 time fee of $25. I dont think devs should be afraid of low ratings. You can't satisfy everyone. I get requests daily about what I should include in the app. There a lot of ideas and for a 99 cent app, I'm just not sure its worth it to build all these ideas into the app. The ones I do pay attention to are the ones where they say something doesn't work or it crashes when this or that happens.

[Q] Google Play - Paypal trade?

So many of us don't have a credit card and that means that we can't buy apps @ Play store even if we wanted to.
I had the idea to pay someone (XDA Member) for an ap so that he could buy it with his CC and then send it to me.
I would send the money through Paypal.
Wondering if this is allowed and or possible!
Google play cards don't work here in the Netherlands
There are sites like AndroidPit that can help me out, but many times they just forward me to Play, which makes it useless...
(P.S. I created the same topic at another section of this site, but people barely responded, so hopefully I'll have more replies here.)

Here in the Netherlands you actually have to work to be able to get a CC.
So that means that when you're a student it's very hard if not impossible to get one.

Yep, ask your bank for a prepaid visa or mastercard. In Switzerland you can get them everywhere, even at some kiosks. Since it is prepaid you don't need an income or credit score. In most countries they are even available to minors.
