[Q] Adobe Flash

Hello Guys,
I got my HTC HD7 yesterday.
Brilliant phone, but there is no version of Flash compatible for it.
Is there an alternative to flash that can be use don a W7 phone?
Thanks
Erm, but you knew this before you bought the phone, because you did some research into all the features you needed to make sure they were present in the phone. So why act all surprised?
Flash is coming at some point, but nothing official has been said. If it's a dealbreaker, take the phone back to the shop. If it's not, then just hang on a bit.

htc hd7 7.0.7392.0 update version unlock

htc hd7 7.0.7392.0 update version no unlock help
Can you please elaborate on what the problem is?
htc hd7 7.0.7392.0 update version not unlock
my problem does not unlock after updating version 7.0.7392.0
try downgrading back to old and unlocking it then applying the registry patch that keeps it unlocked for "NODO" that actually helped me out in the long run before i needed it and im still dev unlocked
good luck

ok lets seee, i have had the phone for very little so ill try to use my little skills i know to help out
well connect it to the zune software, and there should be, on the update inside settings for the phone, a "restore" button for the previous that you had before. i have not done this but im sure it works to downgrade it to what it was before.
from there just unlock it again if it needs it (im not sure if the restore point saves that as well). and search around in the forum or try this one and follow steps carefully for the registry edit which will keep the phone unlocked.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009974
then after that and you have everything good to go, try again to update and it should work and still be unlocked
i did the step before the new update was here so im sure it works
good luck, sorry if its too much reading or anything, its just the way things are and if you really want it. you'll do fine as long as you follow it well
htc hd7 7.0.7392.0 update version not unlock
Friends for 2 weeks but still could not unlock the 7004 or 7008, respectively, what should I do after downloading and installing the rum you give link where can I download a simple and clear explanation of what should I do please help
What to do!!
Here by i request you my friends,im very new for Xda..
I just had updated my hd7 to 7.0.7392.0 yesterday..i need to unlock my phone. anyone please help me in a step by step way,how to downgrade,so that i can unlock my phone easily please..
thanks in advance for the helping hand..
just go here, this works and its perfectly well informed with instructions..
i tried explaining it a more faster way.. but oh well not everyone gets it in a short version.
here before you go and and follow instructions from the link... to downgrade just go and connect your device to your computer and run zune. when your phone finishes syncing go to your phones settings in zune (not settings on the phone). then look for where you check for updates for you phone, click on that. then a button should appear, where the info is shown of that; it says "restore" click it and restore it to a previous version which is 7004 or 7008 then when that is done.
go here and read some more!
follow those instructions to the dot and then after that enjoy your unlocked phone and update all the way back to 7392
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009974
you probably don't need to go past step 2 since they allready pushed out NODO and the 7392 update with the security patch.
that should do it. thats the way i did it, and should work for you if you follow all the instructions.
not restoring
friend thnx for the reply.. but its getting back to 7.0.7390 not 7004 or 7008!!!
what to do?
weird... what version of the OS did you have before that? did it come with 7392 when you got your phone?
that would explain that problem... since it didn't have the restore point of previous version on your computer to back up.
the only other way from that is to flash it i guess...
i haven't flashed the HD7 yet but i used to do it alot back when i used my HTC touch diamond.
im pretty sure you can search on the forums for a stock ROM for your phone in that case and flash it with whatever ROM for the provider you have.
the search is your best bet to find it.
sorry i can't help with the flashing or anything but im sure the forums will help if you do a little searching
after that, just follow what i said and you should be good to go.
i know it seems like alot to do... but you won't regret it for what you get in the end. custom ringtones, tweaks and homebrew apps
good luck
thnks
thnks tom..
no it wsnt came with 7392.. it was with version 7004 or 7008. i dont know perfectly.. but im sure it was not 7390 or 7392..
i dint knw much more about xda at that time, accidently i enterd the xda wen i ws searching 'hw to port android to my cell'.. & i saw all the threads one by one..thus i came to knw we can unlock our phone & can be install apps to my phone.
bt wen i bought my phone it dint hv cut copy update,& i done it via zune..& then 7392 day before yesterday!!
ok ill try other way wt u said, will loose warranty in doing that?
for flashing a ROM no.. just make sure you get the one for your phone and the one for your company (carrier) to make sure everything is back to zero.. (the way you had it when it came brand new in the box)
and i can't stress it enough.. read... read... and then before doing anything to your phone.. read again.. and for the love of everything.. read while your doing it for safety precautions.. we all don't want you to go and brick your phone because of something you missed.. (and when i say read.. i mean instructions and all the info you need)
because nobody wants an expensive brick on their hands.
sorry if i act paranoid.. i just hate when that happens to someone that doesn't pay attention or tries to do it the "easy" "fast" way and thinks they can do it when they don't
Good Luck!
solution to ur every problem is in this link...read all 3 pages....

good luck....

[Q] Unlocked bootloader screen - help!!

Hi......so unlocked bootloader and rooted phone according to here - theunlockr.com/2013/03/16/how-to-root-the-motorola-razr-i/[/url]
All great but had been getting problems with the phone not recieving txts.........virgin are sending out a replacment but taking the old one back now obviously this does not bode well for me as it is rooted, especially with that riduculous warning screen motorola have incorparated..........tried using the stock.img flashboot work around to get rid of that at least, but just end up soft bricking the phone and it stays in flash mode(non signed img)...........managed to reflash it and use recover to restore phone settings but im still stuck with that problem........if i could at least just get rid of that stupid warning message on reboots i would be happy to give it back as these phones probably just get sent to a factory to be refurbed and re flashed anyway, but i feel the message just makes it far too glaringly obvious!!(the point of it i suppose)
I've seen the thread on reflashing with stock roms using rsd lite on this site but also seen it has a high chance of hard bricking the phone.
SO!!
My question(s)is........is there actually a way of getting rid of just the logo and does it def work?
Should I try and unroot the phone using the rsd lite method?
Do you think it will matter if I hard brick the phone when I give it back or could this actually be a good thing to do and just plead ignorance if Im asked and just say it suddenly died on me, therefore covering my tracks.
Does it really matter anyway since they are already sending me a new phone out?
And would I be right in assuming that this phone isn't as straightforward for rooting/unrooting as other phones out there are?
My system version is 91.2.26001.XT890.Retail.en.EU
My Kernel version is 3.0.34 [email protected]#1
Android 4.1.2
Thanks for reading if your still with me and not nodded off!!And yes I have already scoured the net and threads for answers and even phoned my mother to find out why I'm special!!
I'm not sure if this will work but you can try downgrade to ics with mattlgroff's homemade fastboots and then try to flash locked logo but this won't probably help you if JB was installed through OTA as its bootloader replaces unlocked logo back

Constant Rebooting

First off, I apoligize if this has been mentioned before. I did do a search and looked at a few pages to find that this hasn't really been brought up much. Or at least not often or recently.
I have a M8 now, but I gave my old M7 to my dad whos been attempting to use it (and enjoyed it while it worked fine.) But now the phone will reboot itself almost every 10 minutes no matter what I do.
I have
- Unlocked the Bootloader
- Relocked Bootloader and ran an RUU
- Unlocked Bootloader and Installed Custom Rom (AHRD)
all of which have not fixed the constant reboot problem. I was wondering, could the issue involve the firmware of the phone? Or is it a hardware defect.
When I gave my dad the phone he had to take it to best buy to replace, assuming they gave him a refurb I am curious whether or not that could be an issue of a loose part as well.
I have not tried to install a nonsense ROM.

Root Stock 64 bit HTC sense ROM for UK bricked phones

Hi All, this is from my other thread but i thought i would post a new thread now everything is confirmed working
If anyone has bricked their 64 bit Desire 510 by trying to load 32 bit roms as i did this is a stock ROM (bloatware and all) to get you back up and running
https://www.dropbox.com/s/yg4q8dy3g4vwhlu/Stock_rom_20150519_082814.zip?dl=0
Instructions: Flash with Philz Touch CWRM
I am on EE and the ROM is S-ON i dont think it will but not entirely sure if it will work on other networks as i have nothing to test it against
Disclaimer: Please use with caution i hold no responsibility for bricked handsets etc.
lastly i may look into making a slimmed down diet version if anyone would be interested
trying it
Going to try it now seeing as only option lol !! I got it unlocked was running in root and just out interest tried encrypting the phone after all done
Stupidly .... cause now its bricked .... i got stuck on a lock screen to get back in after encryption with a text box for code entry but no enter button.
Seriously unlucky - no fix i can find .. so need an ruu .. this is my best option i think so far .. notin on HTC Dev but may email them i think .. i am on an unlocked vodaphone PayG that died with USB debugging enabled but was both network and software unlocked (now relocked for flash) ... So who knows ! ill let you know.
Thanks .. you are a legend for being the only person who has posted one on this radio no. ... much appreciated - worth a try
OO
Well thats worked i now have an enter button and a fixed phone .. takes up less space than vodofone .. time to wreck it again ..thanks a lot!!
Glad it worked on Vodafone I may make a slimmed down version so watch this space
