[Boot Animation] RED Cyanogen / 320x480 (10/09/10)

Hey everyone, I really wanted a red Cyanogen bootanimation to go with Tazz B2 (don't ask me why lol) so I made one, nothing big, just solid red. Feel free to use it, it works But, you'll have to search the forums if you don't know how to install one. This is just a sharing session

Update -- 2.1 -- (06/17) - [Boot Animation] Honeycomb (3.1)

Hello im kinda noob developing, but maybe my knowledge in Photo & Video works for something Lol.
Inspired in the movie Tron (i saw it tonight again lol, the 1982 and new one) decie to create something similar, cause most of thing in Android are like that world.
I do it 2 Resolutions "Standar" and "High Quality".

Well my idea was to do an update of the original 3.0 but ok in aprox half hour i gonog to upload the Boot with out 3.1 text.
Hapy to like it

I think... yes, cause u need to install some File Explorer to acces system/media, get Overwrite permisions and change ir for the original "bootanimation.zip".
Dunno if maybe u can replace it by ADB. U can try.

No, you can push it through adb. Look for instructions in other boot animation threads.

i only changed setting background because wallpapers can easily get replaced
just unzip and replace in system/apps and correct permissions to rw/r/r or just flash the flashable zip

select the theme with white wallpaper.its the one that has multicolored background.

I guess they should work،i can make a total black one but it will replace one of your stock themes,just upload a theme you don't like here and i ll make one tomorrow

It doesnt matter which version you are running. You just need root to replace the original bootanimation. It should work with GB, ICS and JB.
EDIT:
I researched a little about this and it seems that bootanimations are a kernel feature so you have to know if your kernel supports Bootanimations. Somtimes the file bootanimation.zip is named differently or located in different folders.

Marvel - DC bootanimation w/ THEME ENGINE

A guy from the oneplus forum posted the link for the Marvel DC bootanimation apk which can be installed via the theme chooser in the CM11 and CM12. Download according to the ROM you have. I don't deserve any of the credits, I merely posted the link to xda to get the attention of the people here. "The Modder" converted the marvel-dc bootanimation.zip in this apk. I installed it too and I can choose it in theme chooser, but on startup the standard animation appears. Is there anything more to do?
