LG Font app

i have this question that lg optimus have font change program and some fonts but how i can add there new fonts?

Search xda about how to add new system font. I read it somewhere but forgot

Could anyone upload a zip containing /system/fonts folder with original fonts? I've done some mess in my fonts and would like to revert.

edit: Sorry for messing, I figured out, that I can extract it from Nova Rom.

How to add a system font without any 3rd party app??? And im talking about ADDING not REPLACE...can anyone HELP??

i already using apk edit but not work..
i also use apk manager but it didn't work( i don't how actually) *confuse*
i'm using window currently..
any other way ??

i think it's in java so......

Go to res/values/strings.xml..open strings.xml using Notepad++ and edit the app name..

thanks for corection .....
you will need to extract apk with some apk tool because xml files are unreadable

And don't forget to sign...unless it's a system app.

I want to rename 'Boat Browser' to 'Internet'.
I am on Android 4.2.2..
I have no idea how to make these edits, and "decompiling" and "java" is really complicated for me...

Custom boot sound

Bored of the generic boot loader sound?
Got a clipped sound file you want to use?
Phone rooted? Got a file explorer?
The sound file needs to be converted to .ogg, i have found a site "media.io", upload your sound file and convert to .ogg.
Once downloaded copy to your SDCard, and then using the rooted file explorer move to /system/etc
Reboot, shzaam

Is this true? Have you test it?

.dat fonts - someone here to know something more about it

So, Im doing some themes for the TWRP recovery, and I just cant handle the .dat fonts...

i dont know what problems u have, but after some reading it appears like u cant change them, is that your problem ?

yeah i did some reading, and it appears like (this might been old news) that twrp does not support changing of the fonts (yet) as they are still working on it

Messaging app

Guys I did a mistake while debloating my rom. I removed the messaging app from the note with a mistake, can someone please give me the messaging apk!

Open the roms zip (which You currently have installed) file with winrar and go to /system/app.
There You should find the messaging app.

It is called mms.apk, also look for clues as another user has attached the same for you.
