[ROM] [NANDROID] Stock 2.3.4 Rooted - Nexus S Android Development

Hi all,
Here's a nandroid backup of Stock 2.3.4 (GRJ22) rooted from my GT-I9020T. Just extract the zip and place the folder that's inside the zip into the /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup folder on your phone. Then reboot your phone into recovery and restore the backup that says "Stock_2.3.4_rooted"
I've only tested this on my phone but hopefully it should work for you. You may want to install Busybox after.
NOTE: the zip that you download contains another folder within it so when you extract it, make sure you use the folder inside and not the actual extracted folder.

Thanks to ChainsDD for superuser access and Google for Android

Finally, thanks a lot.
FYI, restoring boot.img and system.img is just okay.

thx, someone tested this with ther european SLCD I9023 version?
If not, i am downloading atm. I´ll give you some feedback later, much later DL only with 56KB/S ?!?

With Nexus S ROMs, do they differentiate between i9020T and i9020A? I have a i9020A.

I can't download from mediafile it said can't access from server can someone make mirror to the other web.
thank you.

Uploading to my dropbox public folder now, may take a while though as i live in Barbados and the internet here SUCKS compared to other places. 1Mb download and 256k upload so it's probably gonna take about an hour. Will post link when done.

ok, i`ve downloaded the decripted file, but anyone can tell how to upload to the phone? i have one Type-Not-Approved model which doesn`t turn on, anyone can help how to use this file to revive it?
thx in advance!
@E-ducation
Use the newest Flashtool - make a ftf-File with the Flashtool from the sin. files (Advanced->Bundle creation wizard). After that put the ftf-file in the firmware folder and you can flash it.
Who knew if the services "CrashMonitor", "Diagnostics Tool" and "devicemonitor" can be stopped? Are they necessary?

Can you please guide me to flash android nougat to my lg v10 (T-Mobile) that is currently running on MM and its not rooted.
If i have to root it first then please provide me the link to root my V10 i'll be very glad.
Thanks in advance.

@popwar lol -- Take a look at the updater-script.
It is LG's and T-Mobile's software, so I don't care, but it is still kind of cheesy to directly copy someone else's work and claim it as your own.

@xXCoolGuYXx Well, it is a miracle then. One of us should play the lottery. Do you know what the chances are of two people creating a file that has the exact same sha1 hash when the file contents are variable? I don't either, but it is astronomical.
The ui_print lines were not something I copy / pasted. I made those up when I made the file. So again, the chances of you picking the EXACT verbiage and punctuation are -- well -- almost non-existent.
It is incredibly simple to dump a KDZ and make a flashable zip, even so, the fact that you are claiming that you did -- when you so obviously didn't is hilarious.

When someone asks you "Did you take this from X" and you reply "No" you are stating one of two things. 1) You did the work yourself or 2) You stole the work from someone else other than X.
You pick whichever one you prefer. In EITHER case I'll stick with the original dev and not the guy who got caught plagiarizing someone else's work.
As recently as February (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3281170) you were having problems figuring out how to properly edit the build.prop file so not someone other people should be depending on for their entire phone rom.

Perhaps you'd have better luck if you looked in the right place "dude". This rom is for the H901 which is the T-mobile version. It belongs in the T-mobile V10 subforum along with all the other roms including the one this is based off of.
As an FYI, XDA rules say if you are posting a rom you DID NOT CREATE it belongs in the GENERAL portion of the forum. Android development is for posts by the creators which is why everyone is claiming you stole it. Help. Don't Help. The "xda family" will survive.

I found the problem. It's my fault. I was looking in my email for Android File Host's support email which I know I had used before, and I came across the same problem I had reported about other files of mine. The problem was caused by the comma I had in the filename. I tested the July 2018 file before removing the comma, still had the problem, removed the comma and tested again and it now downloads. I don't know why people were able to download the files previously and not now.
I'll upload the latest updates to AFH.
Thanks again.

No rush at all ! Anytime. Really appreciated, thank you.
I have it and tried re-downloading it and reflashing to no effect, because I'm getting constant bootloops plus completely dead wifi in the device, so I'd like to get it from a difference source because all points to my firmware files being wonky for some reason. It may be also that I received a physically defective device... We'll see, I guess.

This is really, really weird. On the one hand, I get the same results with your upload as with the firmware I downloaded myself, which makes sense, no reason why it should be any different. Thank you so much, now I can discard there was a problem there.
Flashing goes well, both slots. But WiFi is still completely dead. Didn't really do anything beyond that to see if the constant bootloops stop or not.
Now, on doing a fastboot getvar all, I see a 'Product : H3213' ( !? ) which this is clearly not. It is the dual-sim H4213. I mean, the dual sim slot is very real, physically speaking. So is the labelling in the package box.
No idea what's going on here... Again, thanks.

Question So how bad did I mess up? Global SKFZAVC

Soo... apparently my native firmware wasn't loaded anywhere online, so I got great advice to back it up before doing anything, did that.... saved it happily on my PC and played around with a few Roms. Wanted to do a clean install and guess what? ZIP file corrupted. Any ideas to get it back? guess I have no choice but to flash Global SKFMIXM? A link to doing that would be appreciated also. So I'm running ArrowOS, where would it show what the original firmware was? I only have the file on my PC that i downloaded from the phone before changing roms. I can send you a picture of that?

Sorry I posted the incorrect Picture, here is my original firmware attached.
I would like to know if it's possible to get my original firmware as just a back up because the one I have doesn't work/corrupted

No need to apologize at all! In fact i was going to put it online as the original person who gave me advice on Telegram said that it was a "rare" Rom. Like maybe it could help a dev or something. What would be the most efficient way to post a link? I'm not very tech savvy and I'd probably end up posting the link to my beach holiday pictures?
Also I'd like the link to be accessible to anyone who would need it, I saw one mention only of a desperate person who could've used it

So this is a really rare thing, like Pokémon card. I got it by going to about phone, clicking on the 13 picture of the left, then it started downloading, then I clicked install and started panicking because they told me to save it, but after it installed, I did it again and this time I just saved it the phone, then connected phone to PC and copy pasted it in a folder. Maybe it's the wrong thing?
If it helps, my carrier is VodaCOM and not VodaFONE? Same people I think though

Ok, it's a provider rom, you can install a Global or others.
Oh heya! You're that person in TG with the Vodacom version SFKZAVC. It is sweet global as it has NFC and a 108mp camera but the region version is weird.

It's me! You found me! But when I double click to extract it says the file is corrupted... I'm guessing no way to get it back?

Extracting? Why? It's a recovery rom. It's only used for flashing on custom recovery. But I guess if it shows error during extraction then I guess it will also fail during flashing. No clue unless it's flashed tbh. Did you try on other programs to extract the zip? Also is the zip file 3.x gb something? I heard about sometimes recovery rom downloaded from updater app would sometimes come with less than 3gb (at least for sweet) and it's like a corrupted zip. Or maybe the download did not finish. It's really weird that once the recovery rom gets downloaded, a full 3.xgb zip is already available on the downloads folder even though it's still downloading.

Perhaps I brutalized the English language, what I meant is that I did downloaded it fully, wait time was about 15/20 minutes I suppose. I tried standard 7zip and winrar but gave an error. The file size as a zip is 3.3gb . I'm quite sure it did fully download though. When I extract Project Elixyr.zip file, it immediately starts with winrar. Isn't it good to have a fresh clean install of your firmware every now and then when changing ROMs often? Plus what if there was something in there that could help someone, I know there was another South African looking for it a few months ago and he was so desperate. But i suppose I just use basic Global when I Feel its time for a clean freshy
Good Day. Hope you came right with the SKFZAVC Frimware.

Since SKFZAVC is a weird and restricted version of MIUI, there's no way for anyone to know whether MIUI 14 will arrive on it or not. If you want, you can unlock the bootloader and manually flash the Global version with the latest MIUI 14.0.1.0. Although, I'm not certain whether using the global version is ok for your region/provider as ZAVC is restricted and locked and maybe changing region will prevent you from using the sim or other carrier stuff. I really don't know because this is such a rare region and only those who own it can tell their experience on it.
If you want, and possibly have other people explore that region rom a bit more, try uploading the recovery zip of SKFZAVC in drive or other clouds and have others use and test it. There's no ZAVC rom in circulation or achieved anywhere so none was able to test it.
