Possible Android DoorMat? - Off-topic

Hello! I was looking for an Android doormat and I just found two of them, one of them is good, but not what I wanted. So I made one sketch on Inkscape and I want to share it with you. I'll probably send it to make a personalized doormat
If anyone wants the SVG file, I can upload it.
Picture!

EDIT 1:
Found the original Android font, so here's the update:

Thanks!
Thanks!
I've just made my own personalized doormat using your picture

I like it! My current doormat just says "go away" lol.

I don't have a doormat. Because nobody is welcome!!!

I'm glad you like it =)
I had the SVG file if you want it

Nice doormat. Would also make a nice mouse pad!

Theme Gallery Up And Running HERE!!
Ok I got the swine flu so I decided to do something productive. I have seen many posts on here talking about a theme page and no one made one that is gallery stile. Every one I found is like Themedroid (not functional yet) and others that are forum stile. So I sat down and made a gallery for them. I updated this with all the themes posted here on xda. Yes I sat down and added every theme I could find on xda to punk-in. If you would like your theme removed please email me the name of it and I will gladly remove it for you.
I do not take any credit for the themes I just wanted a better way to view what each looks like. Now make sure you view what is required to run the theme. I am not responsible for bricked phones. Also I had to break them down into old themes, cupcake themes and hero themes. Now If I get good feedback I will organize it much better but for now This is how it has to be.

wow dude! What an implementation of a great idea! I like it! Good way to just scan through themes and see what they look like before even going to the threads! Congrats, dude!
PS: Sorry about the swine flu.
Not to shabby. Would be good for new people looking to check out themes. One thing I would change is you have 3 sections: Hero, Cupcake, and old. I would change Cupcake to just Android or something more general since cupcake is kind of old news now. Might confuse people running Donut.
how about section for themes for donut?
Could you organize them by build?
Saw a few that I liked but none that would work for CM 4.1.999

I think you should do that. Searching by build would be the easiest way for me to find a theme I like.

This is a really well put together site, thank you for taking the time to compile a list of themes out there.
PS: Sorry u got the swin flu
Wow!
Thanks for taking the time to do this. It's great.
You might want to go through alldroid.org as most of the new major themers have moved there
Wow! This is a great help is quickly checking out how the themes look like
Everyone is right the site looks great thanks for all the hard work. I do agree that a little more detail about what ROMs these Themes work for would be nice. Maybe the ROM specific Dev name like Cyan, JAC, Haykuro, etc would be nice but anyone could download a theme and make it work for that rom just by moving the files around. With 7 Zip and the Auto Sign tool it a peice of cake.
Get Well Soon but Enjoy the Time Off
nice work! you should put a search option
thanks for putting my theme
sorry you got that swine flu hope youre better soon!
Thanks so far for the feedback.
Thanks for the input. I feel ok to sit up and check up on some of my projects. I looked at alldroid.org and allot of the themes are there also. I will make a post there and see if they like the idea. I do not want to step on anyone's toes. I am just trying to get away from viewing all the themes via forum. I like to see all of them together and pick the one I like.
I also keep hearing people want it to have a Donut section. I will draw up an android maby eating a donut or something. LOL.
If everyone wants it more organized please give an example. Like All Cyanagin put together? Or all builds separate or how to do it? I would like to get it all set up now so in the future people can just add a pic an a link to there theme and people could look at them and do what they have to do.
Thanks for the feed back and support.

Also if you would like to look at the new punk-in beta site I almost have the home page all done.

There is a search bar. Just click the link in the upper right hand corner called "sidebar" From there it will pull up a window on the left with a search and login. I know it is hard to find. I am thinking about moving it.

What do you mean? Is there another site that is better. I am just doing this to help but if there is another site that is better I would love to NOT have to maintain this. Please let me know.
Please note: I am trying to get away from the whole forum thing. I really like this site here http://g1wallz.com/ but they only have wallpapers.

Requesting help creating GDE themes

I have tried opening the original default GDE theme to give myself a basic template to work from. I edited many photos and have a theme ready to use, however I would love to change the name and information which is stored on the AndroidManifest.xml.
Last night I installed Eclipse and all android addons, however the AndroidManifest.xml in the GDE skin I've tried editing, will not open in Eclipse.
As I am new, I'm positive I'm doing something erroneous that's simple to fix or solve, but any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance to anybody who replies.
Jon.
Nevermind!
I'm an idiot, it literally took less than an hour of reading and investigating the xda forums.
Found the APKTool to edit and change the original GDE theme.
For those of you who actually look for themes for GDE still rather than metamorph, be looking for my themes.
Jon.
sounds promising.
.. GDE has been a bit dead lately..hopefully u can revive it.
I hope. I've tried all the home replacements, and GDE is the only one I'm really interested in. Anybody have any suggestions? I'm working on multiple colors of the hero first, nearly finished with them all..
If you all know any specific theme types I should work on that would target some crowd, all suggestions are appreciated.
theres a nexus, hero, cliq, and few other device ui's that are badass which have all been created..but no one has created an Espresso one..might wanna give that one a gander.
Funny, I didn't think of trying any of those, however the only one you mentioned having not being done yet, is the one that inspired me. Haha, I have an espresso one. It was created by someone I believe from this very community.

Looking for OP of these icons - I made 35 new ones

I have an icon pack that I like very much, and I've created about 35 new icons using the OP's original concept and backdrop.
The problem is I don't remember who the OP was and so can't obtain permission to post the ones I have. Can someone take a look at the attached icons. If you recognize them and can't point me to the original designer, I'll send him the new ones to include in the pack... if he wants. The only clue I have is they were all in a zip file named "BlackIcons72x72".
Thanks!
Did a quick search on google for "BlackIcons72x72.zip" and look what I found

[Q] [REQ] Snow Leopard folder with Android logo [Fulfilled]

Hi all,
I've searched all around the net (and XDA off course), but I just can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Does anyone have a Snow Leopard folder icon (icns) with an embossed Android logo?
Or is anyone here grafically gifted enough to create such thing? I really suck at graphical design, so hopefully anyone in here is willing to give it a try. I'll buy the best one a cup of coffee (or a beer if you prefer that over coffee...)
I've attached a plain folder icon and an example of the Snow Leopard Downloads folder, to show the embossing effect. I'd really like at least the Android robot to show embossed in the folder, the text "Android" is less relevant (but would be cool, if the robot doesn't get too small). Can anyone help me out?
Thanks for your trouble.
Edit Co-member Jumba created a beautiful folder icon, with can be found in post #19. The result can be found in post #20.
Jumba, thanks again!
Sincerely,
Mac

I've replaced the generic icon for the folder with your icon, but for some reason it doesn't match the rest of them. See screenshots attached. The difference is best seen in the first screenshot (list view). Could it be you used a different template? Or did I provide the wrong template?
Sincerely,

Hmmm, not sure... I tried to match the icon stye to the reference you posted, but sometimes a simple difference in line thickness doesn't translate so well when reducing the icon size. I also used an online converter to convert from .png to .icns, so maybe that blurred the output slightly. The top edge of the folder doesn't look quite like the others, so maybe the template wasn't exactly correct. I can make the lines a bit thicker, but I'm not sure what's up with the folder...

Hi Jumba,
Thanks for your effort, again.
I think I know what's 'wrong'.... If I open the generic folder icon, there's multiple icons inside (like in yours), but the smallest icon has a different folder layout. See screenshot attached. Could you edit the generic folder with the logo, to retain the difference between the large and smallest size? I hope I'm not asking to much of you...
The first edition is my favourite, as all folder icons have the graphic center aligned...
Sincerely,
Mac

That's what I have been using. The only problem is that it only accepts one file, then builds the other sizes itself. I need the ability to inject different sizes into the file, but no worries, I think I have a solution...

Almost there... It looks a lot better (it's nearly perfect), so thank you again for your time and effort . One small request (hopefully)... (and please let me buy you a cup of coffee, as I highly appreciate the trouble you've taken!)
It's only the smallest size which is different now. I've made two screenshots, from your icon and the generic folder icon, both zoomed in at the same level. Would it be possible to give your icon the same 'border' as the generic one? That way it will blend in with the rest of them (see last screenshot).
Thanks again!
Mac
It's a pleasure, thanks are reward enough. Here's one with the small icon fixed.
Edit: The icon is a blank folder for now. Let me find a small android icon...
Since Jumba is being such a good sport I can suggest donating to the XDA crew as they both deserve and need it.

Honeycomb, Atrix, Thunderbolt, Bionic Mods for LauncherPro

Hey guys, I've created a new thread (as per request from mwielgosz), regarding the mods I've made for the Haxzamatic Honeybread theme, as well as some new additions for getting an Atrix, Thunderbolt, or Bionic setup. The zip files are directly linked to my Dropbox, so there's no worries about getting sent to some obscure download site (one of my pet peeves).
Below are screenshots of my personal setups, and I've made the zip files available below, for anyone who wants them. PM me for and custom dock requests, and please specify which setup you want (dock type, color, icon layout, etc.). These are pretty full packages... icons, docks, boot animations, wallpapers, etc., so you should be good to go once you get them.
A special thanks, and credit for some of the Honeycomb package to Haxzamatic (aka GFX Android), Cyber Warrior for some of the Thunderbolt wallpapers (totally sick!!), the Cyanogen Mod team, and to everyone else here at XDA who makes owning an Android phone so much fun!
I hope this thread can become a one-stop-shop for anyone looking for some nice setups to complete their themes, and for any devs who are looking to incorporate new things into their projects (fyi, I have the Xoom, Atrix, and Thunderbolt system dumps, and the 3.0 SDK for any interested devs).
As a side note... NONE of the zip files are flashable (with the exception of the boot animations). Just unpack them and enjoy! Again, for any special requests, just PM me with what you would like. Thanks again to everyone, and happy modding!
Here's the Dropbox link for direct download! Let me reiterate, NONE of these zips are flashable! Just download them to your PC, extract the files, and put them on your device. These mods are also NOT device or ROM specific, so they will work on any phone. If you want a custom dock or something else, please email me with your request, providing specifics on what you would like. Thanks guys!

Absolutely! what would you like in place of it? The problem with custom Sense docks is that icons don't look right unless they're embedded (the scaling is off). Let me know what you want in place of it, and I'll throw it up ASAP!
Either nothing or just the phone text centered without the icon would be great, I'm using the dock with adw launcher and Ive got five apps on the dock, with the big icon there the second app text touches just the edge of it.

Can you please do that, but with the more original looking sense dock you made and instead of a plus sign, some kind of browser icon. Also switch the phone with the drawer and to make the phone icon a phone so it fits. Lol I feel greedy.
