512 or 640 mb ram , 1.2 or 1ghz processor - Galaxy Tab Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i have two questions , what is the amount of ram in normal gsm galaxy tab is it 512 or 640 , also is the processor in the barazilian tab same as in normal gsm tab but overclocked as it has 1.2 ghz processor or it is a better version

As we disassembled a lot of versions of the tab, they all have different hardware, like bridges, etc. But normally it's 512RAM, 1GHz processor.

512 MB RAM
ARM Cortex A8 processor, 1 GHz processor
PowerVR SGX540 graphics
With regards to a Brazilian version, i think it's only a rumor.

But the tmobile us tab is announced with 640mb ram is it different from eu version

[Q] Quadrant / Bionic / 2 core or 1 core ?

I was messing around with Quadrant yesterday and looked at the system info selection after running the app a couple of times. I noticed that Quadrant only recognizes the Droid Bionic as having a single core, does anyone know why that would be.
Cause Quadrant is dumb, and useless, and is only optimized for one core.
That being said, I still try to get higher scores each time....
H obey comb is the only android is which currently recoginizes and uses both cores.
ICS is bringing multicore and multiple thread support.
OMAP4 was chosen on nexus prime because it is the only multiple hread processor on the market.

Interested in keeping this thread alive to see if there is a benchmark program for our Dual Core machines.

I've read Quadrant only recognizes the Xoom's dual core processor at this time. I'm not confident in the source, so feel free to investigate further.

Did you not read my last post.
Dual core implementation is a limitation of gingerbread.
Honeycomb is the only android OS that allows apps to use both cores.
ICS is sopose to bring that feature to smartphones.

Aka I have a dual core processor phone that only uses 1 core due to the OS.....awesome. Going to have to research that a bit.

GPU Questions.

Why my new laptop is much slowing then my old laptop when on 3D applications?
Is dedicated GPU 4 years ago still better than integrated GPU last year?
My old laptop :
Model : Lenovo 3000 Y410
OS : Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit
CPU : T7250 Intel Core2Duo 2.00GHz Dual Core
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS
RAM : 2GB DDR2 667MHz
VRAM : 128MB GDDR3
My new laptop :
Model : Hasee E410-P61
OS : Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit
CPU : P6100 Intel Pentium 2.00 GHz Dual Core
GPU : Intel HD Graphics 3000
RAM : 4GB DDR3 1066 MHz
VRAM : Shared
And by the way, which netbook is better?
ATI dedicated GPU or Intel integrated GPU?
AMD dual core or Intel dual core 4 threads?
Lenovo IdeaPad S110 or S205?
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 6320 or Intel GMA 3600?
And for RAM, I know 4GB max 8GB is better than 1GB max 4GB.
I know Radeon 6320 clock speed is 100MHz faster than GMA 3600, but I don't know which will perfore better on actual gaming, tyvm.
What about display resolution ?

[Q] S3 Mini Ram

Hey Guys,
I just got my S3 Mini and i see on review that it has 1 GB of RAM but when i go to Setings> Aplication Manage i only see about 808 MB. Can anyone tell me where is the rest to 1024?
Does your devices have the same?!
Thanx in advance.
LE: And how about the procesor types u have? i have armv7 processor rev 1 (v71) is this supose to be the novathor procesor?.
Yep.
800MB is for user apps and other 200MB is for system.
Regarding the CPU, it shows architecture type not CPU model.
NovaThor is ARM v7 rev. 1

How much ram does note 1 have?

Hi guys,
This might be a silly question. But ive got the asylum rom installed and just notice on the about phone area that my ram is only 780mb. Is this right?
I thought the note had 1gb ram?
Could anyone share what it says on their about phone area?
Thanks in advanced.

different kernels show different available ram.. like stock show 863.. and hydracore show different.. so its ok.. 1GB ram is not really available..
The RAM that you are missing has gone to the hardware.
yeah i too wanted to know about the exact ram of my note as i have used my note for almost 1 year.. as i remember in past i have a pc with 1 gb ram and it shows 0.99 gb ram in my computer properties but here with my phone having 1 gb ram never showed above 900 mb ram

[Q] What is the processor's clock speed of the gear on Tizen?

I recall reading that although the processor in the gear is manufactured to be 1.6ghz dual core, good old Samsung had dumbed it down it 800mhz dual core. In _null there was an option to change the speed the 1.6, so my question is does anyone know that the clock speed is on the nf1 tizen? Also is the 1.6 overclocked or is the 800mhz underclocked?
Bump anybody know?
