I don't think its an appropriate section to ask this but, i saw that you are a BSNL user. So, could you please PM me the 3G Data Connection rates please :

I don't own an Optimus One but have used many ROMs on my Galaxy S. It's great to see a ROM made by a fellow Indian. Keep up the good work!

Activate your 3g services and recharge with 2g plan, and then enjoy 3g services for free. This is tested with Airtel. I am not sure about other operators.
PS: I have seen you play a lot with recoveries, please tell me which is the best recovery to use ? Clock or Amonra ? Should I update it to Clock from Amonra.
@OP glad to see Indian roms coming up. I wish I could make a rom too. Congrats.

In my point of view amonra is good for backups. For installing a rom clockwork is better, if the rom supports. In amonra you need to flash format zip file if you want to format the system. In clockwork there is an option under mounts to format system. Clockwork is also able to format sd ext only. In amonra there is no such option separately. Currently not all the roms are flashable with clockwork. But you can flash almost all roms with amonra. You can try both and experience the both. But I would say currently you can use amonra 1.2 given in miKs thread. The latest 2.2.1 does not wipe ext4.
But in future, as all roms provide support of flash via clockwork and its integration with rom manager, this would be more attractive.

Hi, Shyam
if you wish to release more versions add tweaks from Franco and edit the build.prop
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=999064
get a UOT framework to change the conventional look and add franco's kernel(Zimage) with his permission
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1049970
and remove apps that are not required, you'll have a awesome ROM then

Okay posted here is the script updater by Segnaro and quoted:
Segnaro said:
Open up the GalaxyComb archive with 7zip and replace update-script in META-INF/com/google/android with the one inside the zip attached to this post.
That'll remove the i9000 check and allow you to flash it on Vibrant.
If it's still failing then you probably corrupted the archive or have a bad download.

The file is at the bottom of this post!
These are my instructions: Whenever you have changed and re-zipped the ROM just flash if you are on a Froyo ROM, I was on Project V and didn't have to wipe.
You can also flash from CM7 or MIUI as it uses the same Install method thingy!?
Oh and the haptic buttons don't work except for back!

I tried this the day that it was first posted, and i have to say that i was pretty surprosed with this port, its pretty fast and stable, and it looks great, a little small, but thats to be expected because its designed for tablets. I hope to see more development on this.

+5,000
(Even more reason for me to ditch the vibrant and get an I9000)
The one thing keeping me back to using a Froyo rom as my daily driver is the fact that the GPS does come in handy from time to time (and not a basic maps search query).

NO-APN PROBLEMS?
If you get GSM but no data, and you cannot save any APN settings, it means you have what I'm calling a 'funny SIM'. Certain mobile operators use SIMs which include an extra data storage area to be used for things like GSM Banking etc. CyanogenMod currently does not fully support these SIMs on the new baseband.

Please thank werewolfo for generously donating an Italian funny SIM for me to test with!.

You need to edit the build.prop located in the system folder. Recommend using winrar
/system/build.prop
Once there, you will open the file and edit it using a word processing program of you choice. Notepad is fine.
Use search/find button till you locate something that says this Default network type. # 4 => CDMA
From there change the 4 to a 3.
Then next to it you will see this ro.telephony.default_network=4, change it to 3.

Do you have a link to a specific one? No guarantees. As far as the donation, I don't want donations, just trying to get some more roms for the droid 3 for people to enjoy.
try and port this please http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1522717&page=20

WiFi calling?
This looks great - thanks so much! Does this ROM perchance include T-Mobile's WiFi calling?

Only TW roms based on a T-Mobile rom will have the T-Mobile wifi calling. ATT ports will not have the T-Mobile wifi calling (unless of course that rom is based on the T-Mobile rom, in which case it would be a port of a port). Furthermore, no CM or AOSP based rom will have the T-Mobile wifi call. It is a T-Mobile exclusive feature baked into the stock rom.

Well, dammit. I suppose that makes perfect sense. Looks like that's going to severely limit my flashing-ROMs-for-fun.
Hello All,
Found a fix for the tablet mode stock apps not working ... kinda...
The original post has a file that installs the AOKP files ... which has a different phone/contacts/web app that all work in tablet mode
S-Note/S-Memo are still broken and right now i think they will continue to be for a while atleast, i dont see that anyone has been able to do this yet with the ATT or International Note or anything along those lines so it may never happen.
I also tried to update to the newest TouchWiz Launcher ... Epic Fail ... it crashes every time ... will keep everyone updated.
ringtone setting not working and it make my phone slooow.

Great ROM only if Wi-Fi calling works. T879 Note 1 Tmo
Thank you for an excellent ROM. Only thing is Wi-Fi calling is not working, I am on Note 1 T879 Tmobile. I tried installing Tmobile radio but did not work. Can you please include Wi-Fi calling in the ROM? Thank you.
WiFi calling only works on Touch Wiz base ROMs.

This a touch wiz rom, but it is not the T-Mobile version of WiFi calling so when the phone tries to access Att's VoIP server the server freaks s out because this is not an Att account. To prove it have you noticed when you first open your contacts it tries to sync with your "Att" account (that you don't have.)
