[Q] Remove clock from GRJ22 - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Im using this rom...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1061648
Does anyone know how to remove the status bar clock on the newest release of gingerbread? [2.3.4 GRJ22]

Idk the code to do so but it's an option in CM7 Settings. So you could get CM7 and problem is solved otherwise wait for a response from a dev.

Isn't that in his Spare Parts app or something??
Im looking in it now I see no option to switch the color of the bar. This is one of the main reasons why i rooted my phone to skin my phone to my liking, but i didnt know it would be this difficult
THANKS FOR THE REPLYS THO GUYS <3
you can either use metamorph to apply a morph that'll change your bar(check the topic in Themes & apps) or you can go to settings > CyanogenMod settings > User Interfaces > Notification colors and start tweaking with the settings there

custom background on ASOP Lock screen-SENSE BASED ROMS..

After I have flashed remove_Htclockscreen.. I got the AOSP lockscreen with the transparent lock screen.
So I modified the framework-res.apk for the dotted background(as in image) till HewGBalls comes with customizable lock screen..
those who are troubled with transparent lockscreen can try this..
This for sense roms? Good idea though.
edit : but it would take quite a bit of programming to make it customizable.

Yep this is for sense based roms..
you might want to mention that in the first post/title, and also its AOSP not ASOP
Thanks pal..guess I was testing while I wrote that..BTW sorry for bad desc..

[Q] Getting Vanilla android lockscreen?

Is it possible to get the original lockscreen and replace the LG one. And that without having to flash a custom Rom or such,?
Get widgetlocker, very similar to the vanilla one, if not better
Sent from my Optimus 2X using XDA App
I just want the stock looks, and Widget Locker is not free
be careful with widget locker, the app is reported to increase battery drain on O2x
I guess we'll all just have to wait for CM7
My main desire is getting the vanilla lockscreen and that without having to flash a custom Rom

i'm didn't touch anything ,the problem is i don't have lockscreen on my samsung galaxy ace when i press button to unlock there's no lockscreen ,how can i get back lockscreen i'm confused ? ?
If you don't have no lock app enabled then you might need to re-flash your rom, or use a lockscreen app like widetlocker or golocker, I find them better than the standard lockscreen.

Did you try to go under settings/location and security/lockscreen and turn it on? xD

You can't disable the whole lockscreen in system settings can you? Those settings are just to disable pin, pattern etc locks, but the slike lock is still there isn't it?

I think it depends on the rom he's using. I'm now using cm7.1 and i can't disable the cm lockscreen, although i can enable the stock lockscreen under system and security, so when i unlock my phone i first have to unlock cm lockscreen and then the stock one. So you can also turn off the stock one using settings only.
So if he's using stock rom he can do it, if he's on cm7.x ... he can't xD
atleast not using settings
In CM7.1 and Up, there's an option under tablet tweaks to Disable the locksreen.
