[Q] What is the best ROM for the Nexus One? (Stable, battery, performance) - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I can't decide on which rom to get. In your mind, which ROM is the most stable.
NIGHTLY CyanogenMod 7: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=723844
or
RoDrIgUeZsTyLe™ MIUIMOD [ V3.1.2 MULTI ]: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=799737
I have researched and according to many, all these roms are good. Which should i get and why?
Thanks in advance

FAQ, question 1.

Just as a warning... the nightlies for CyanogenMod are usually pretty stable, but not always. This is their testing ground for the actual stable release (which is currently 7.0.3 which is based off of Android 2.3.3). Right now in the nightlies, Android 2.3.4 is being tested which will eventually become CM 7.1.
I am not familiar with MUIU's testing, but I am sure they have a similar thing.
But as it is mentioned in the FAQ that is in Jack_R1's signature, there isn't a ROM that is the best for the N1. It is based on user preference. Just like there isn't a "best" android phone.

Best ROM ICS/JB on Galaxy Ace

What is relatively stable, best ROM for this phone. I know that they are not finished but what is best in this moment. Thanks
There is NO BEST ROM.
The ROM that is best for you depends on your needs. If you want battery life and stability go for CM7. If you want more recent versions of android use CM9+. If you want customisability but care less about stability go for AOKP. If you want the stock Android experience use AOSP.
Wayland_ACE has made some excellent builds, so has Jellaxy. These are for stable (ish) Ice Cream Sandwich/Jelly Bean.
There are also many themed ROMs based on Gingerbread.
Maclaw and Marcin are currently working on an ICS AOSP. It looks promising and can be found at http://maclaw.pl
Personally I would recommend CM9.1 RC4.1 by Wayland_ACE found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1868121
If you are a more experimental user and you want 4.2.1 on you Ace (functional by still in beta2) try Wayland's CM10.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2011671
Take a look around the Original Android Development thread and the Android Development thread and read stuff. You'll learn a lot.

Stable ROM for Device

I run CM 10.1 on my Android phone and saw there is a CM project available for this device, but wanted to ask the gurus here, what is the most stable ROM for this device that is available?
Milaq's 10.1 is about as stable as you can get, but no further development is happening on Jelly Bean as the best devs - milaq, flintman notably - are working on kitkat. Which is usable on a daily basis but still a WIP.
Jcsullins 10.1 roms are also worth a download.
Try them and see what you think.
Peace

Thanks for the info. I'll probably stick with Milaq's 10.1 as I will still need it for daily use and need just about all features functioning.

[Q] Android 4.4 Evervolv or Beanstalk on N1

Hi guys, I have a little question:
Well, as you know, the guys who worked making the ROM's of the N1 is awesome.
But I have to see some opinions about the performance of 2 ROMs, Evervolv and Beanstalk.
Now I'm using the Evervolv ROM, wich last update was on May 21st, but some people says that Beanstalk is smoother than Evervolv. I see the last update was on April 17th (or something like that)
Does anybody can help me if I stay with Evervolv or go with Beanstalk? It's just way to have better perfomance on my phone (as everybody wants, too)
Please answer if you tested both ROMs
Evervolv always

I found Beanstalk buggier than the Evervolv ROMs. (I have used both as my daily drivers)
Evervolv ROMs are more stable than other ROMs because others use libraries and source code from Evervolv.
If you want a boatload of features, then use the Beanstalk (trust me there are A LOT of customizations and added features here) but if you want a more stable ROM, Evervolv is always the one to go to (IMHO).:cyclops:

Best CM 12.1 ROM for HTC M7

I have been away for sometimes on this thread and am a bit confused about what rom would be really solid stable CM 12.1. I dont look forward to dump of tweaks. Stock CM would be nice too! So, Please tell me which CM you are using and you think is best and of course without bugs.
Thanks in advance. Peace.
I don't think that there's the "best" CM 12.1 ROM, all are nightly builds. I'd suggest you to install the latest version unless you want to use the relatively old Snapshot release.
I installed the latest nightly build on yesterday, working fine so far!

Presently what is the best stable Rom ( Cm 11/12.1/13) for Galaxy S Advance ?

Presently what is the best stable Rom ( Cm 11/12.1/13) for Galaxy S Advance ?
I have tried almost all the Roms. Presently I am on Cm 13 by Epirex. I am on the first build. Tried the second build, but changed it due to freezing of screen.
Please suggest so that I do not have to change Roms very often.
I'm currently using Modded CyanogenMod 11 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-advance/general/rom-modded-cyanogenmod-11-t3387424) and it's very stable, give it a try.
I'm currently using Revolution ROM UX..based on stock jellybean..it fast LOL
I've tried almost every rom for S Advance.
If we are talking about cyanogenmod only, then "Modded CyanogenMod 11" is the most stable.
But the best rom I've tried is a stock based one, named "Leggera", nothing is more stable. You can find it here: http://www.androidiani.com/forum/mo...9070-jb-4-1-2-leggera-gargaros-s-advance.html (if you want I can help with translating the page)
This is my opinion.
As a previously user of S Advance aka janice, for me SamiOS + cocore kernel 8.2 was best (you can try mkaluza kernel too).
There are some other good roms too:
1) AOSP by JTeam
2) VanirAOSP by mkaluza
3) CM 10.2 . There's a build which some people claimed to be the most stable cm.
NOTE: I haven't tried any new rom since that time, because I didn't had to
