Please note that this ROM is based on an UNOFFICIAL CyanogenMod7 build, named Gigglebread.
It contains cherry picks and fixes by non-CM7 devs.
I decided to make this ROM as it was suggested to me that Gigglebread appears to be better than the official CyanogenMod7.
I do not agree nor disagree on this, but I did get motivated enough to make this ROM.

As I was saying..
This ROM is based on the unofficial CyanogenMod7 build Gigglebread.
It has the same features as my Gingerbread Edition, but is based on a different build.
I just posted it here for the people that prefer Gigglebread over the official CyanogenMod7, but like my (so far not that many) modifications to the ROM.
The ROM currently holds:

- Libsqlite.so patch by Benee
- Quicker GPS fix in Europe
- Updated BusyBox (1.19)

Installation instructions:
0. Boot into recovery
1. Wipe Data/Factory Reset when coming from stock/another custom ROM! not needed when coming from an earlier version of this ROM
2. Install zip from SDcard >> Choose zip from SDcard >> select the ROM.zip file
3. Let it install, when done, reboot!

Rom is so smooth...but one big problem for me. Some apps are missing from market and cannot be installed from my titanium backup also. Eg twitter,cardiotrainer

Try to flash some recent version of google apps zip.
Ok i flashed new GApps and now everything works fine!!!!!
Which the differences between this one and 3.1.1 beyond the kernel based on ?

Another bug i found is that wifi cannot connect to networks that don't broadcast SSID....Unfortunately in my jom we have a hidden SSID WIFI network...
Any workaround?

CM7 bug
only workaround is to broadcast your SSID or flash Modaco or a Froyo based ROM
Another issue is that after flashing new GApps to solve market problems i lost video on GTalk....Any way to install again GTalk with Video???Several zips i found doesnt flash through CWM

MIUI's been my daily driver for quit some time now. Have issues going back to other roms. Really impressed with it's cleanliness and ease of use.
Plus, you get updates throughout the week and (generally) a new version every Friday-Sunday, depending on the changes at hand. Not a bad deal, really. Great dev and forum community to boot.
Looks really nice. I may just have to go back to MIUI.
Also, Aerials is an amazing song. I really wish they would get back together and release an album
Wow. Haven't used this ROM in awhile and I must say I love it. Super clean and fast. Definitely going to give it a try.

GPS works great for me. Instant lock as close as 6 meters

Great ROM... really nice.... one thing that is bugging me...... A2DP Bluetooth is skipping with my S9HD. Will try a different Kernel to see if that fixes but just wondering if anyone else experiencing the same issue.

I will update it as CyanogenMod7 gets updated, and some other updates inbetween.
As I said, it's based on CyanogenMod7, but has been thoroughly modded by me.

I'm currently running this rom. Installed it last night and this morning i came to the discovery thats the speakers don't work. (alarm was vibrating ).
Also having some difficulties with 3G. Connection is really slow although with previous roms it was full speed at the location.
Rom feels verry snappy and fast. Keep up the good work!

@rntvndrlst: That's a CM7 problem, the ringtones don't always work. It's not just a problem in my ROM, it's in all of CM7, sadly. But they should get it fixed soon!

Backup your contacts with your google account on a build other than cm7 and then your contacts will automatically be diaplayed in cm7, no?

I don't have the phone myself yet, but normally you just have to go to 'accounts and sync' in settings and there enter your google account information. Contacts will then automatically be synchronized.
@Edward0504, new host is online: DropBox
@PYCON, go to settings -> Accounts and sync -> Add account -> Google
And there you can add a Google account to sync your contacts

try to use inverted gapps with download link at first post,,or manually install google play 3.5.15
to convert google play as system apps,,use titaniumbackup pro(more simply) or install with root explorer method to directory /system/app

MUSIC, CALL VOLUME are up to the mark.
Still to check NET(data connectivity), GPS and performance in gaming....
battery life is OK..... only 10% in four hours (with little bit music and some extra things)

Data, Cache and Dalvik are cleared, then fresh install
Any idea ?
Automatic date sync and start up sync is off as well.
Everything else is good except for Radio, HDMI, It seems to be much faster too.

if yes then please set it by by selecting time zone of your country ...... and check if this help you ..... also automatic will not affect it ...

Because I didn't made as clean as posible, even I've added some apps integrated just for standard in my port also some customization. Unfortunately, I've also forgot to remove things I don't use like miui default file explorer since I've added a replacement

You can see the features I've added and also things which working in this rom, there are some different with 2.3.9.
And for MIUIv4, I can't port it right now because no kernel support the camera yet. Camera is mandatory for my phone. Badly... I'm not kernel dev. So until now, I just play around with gb miui with more features works and fit enough with me.

CK superb work as expected. Had the luxury of doing a full wipe install of this release. Could'nt ask for a better ROM.

Guess you would have used the Miui DHD release for this port. I observed there was a fmradioserver in system\bin in the DHD rom. Any luck with the file (or they have always been around and we still need to figure out else where for our device )

I read the first post on step by step instructions but this is my first time flashing to MIUI so wanted to make sure I didn't screw up.. what would your steps be to flash this ROM, from a nandroid backup, full wipe, and then..?

For performance, actually I don't care about score as long as I can feel smooth and not laggy any time .
I've tried a little between mOCk and SD on 3D gaming, I can say mOCk work better then SD, with SD there is some lag while mOCk is smoother. But the phone is not too hot with SD. I use the same minimum and maximum cpu clock with the same governor for both.

It's not my last rom, it's should be my last FULL GB MIUI rom. The next release should be an OTA update for this version (not full rom but update package), and so on (hopefully ). So we still can taste updated release without download full package of rom. And yes, hopefully I can continue to upload the update .
I've include some Indian carriers to, but may be I got non updated list of them that's why I was needed the list of it. I took the list from a web, and may be your gsm carrier code not listed yet. I took it for Indian carriers code from http://www.gsm-security.net/gsm-operator-codes.shtml. if you have an updated list, please let me know. To add the list, you should decompile the framework-res.apk as I and FR discussed in FR thread, make change and recompile it.
For the radio, I've not continued yet.

Consider to backup all apps using titanium backup.
Here the steps to flash it from Maclite:
1. Get in to CWM
2. Install update zip file (this update zip rom)
3. wipe data
4. reboot ( the first boot will take longer )
5. Wait about a minutes after MIUI came up
6. reboot again ( this should be much faster than the first boot )
7. Welcome to the dark MIUI...!
If you have backup all apps using titanium backup, set the SuperUser to accept root ( in Superuser app, press menu and tick ON Root ). Than install titanium backup and do restore apps.

Download the latest *.zip file to your SD.

You flashed over the official Motorola JB 4.1.2 EU firmware? No other Mods or ROMS? Cause this is NOT a full ROM at this point, it's a mod of the Stock-ROM.

The only thing that needs new libaries at this moment is the Google 4.4 Keyboard - it's a mod, so it just keeps the things it needs from Stock.

U can't flash EU firmware without data loss, it wouldn't work anyway for your brazilian provider. You can try to use your own framework directory and the original SystemUI, should probably work - no garantee.

1. The clock can be fixed easily, just whipe the appdata of your clock - i'll try to fix this in future versions.
2. Think this a caused by the size of some images, i'll have a look at it
3. The Icons are from the MIUI X5 HD Apex Theme, cant upload them because you have to pay for it.

Good u ask, just looked if camera and gallery are working. Edit function seems to crash the gallery, switching back to stock one...

It's not possible that you get a bootloop if you are doing it right, ONLY official Motorola JB 4.1.2 EU firmware.
I have the same looping issue even if I install it over the official Motorola JB 4.1.2 .
