My kaiser has poor or no signal...

From some days my kaiser has no signal or very poor signal. I try SIM in other phone but it works. So i think it's a kaiser problem and do:
hard reset
flash new rom
flash many radio rom
unlock network/cid/security
But is always the same.
So I think that it's an hardware problem then i remove antenna clean the contact (both side, board and antenna),
Nothing. It's always the same.
Let me know if anyone has this problem and how to solve...
A lot of thanks
I'm having the same problem in the US. Recently, AT&T sold numerous towers to Verizon. After that, my 3G/H signal decreased a lot. I can go to COMM manager and turn off 3G and the Edge signal is strong.

help with signal

i love my diamond and most places the signal is good, but in my house my signal is crap, if i get a call i have to go outside, i have tried a few differant radios but not much change, ive also brought one of those signal booster stickers of ebay but not sure where antenna is on diamond, my wife is on orange and her samsung gives good reception in our house. just wondering if anybody can help
well in the states verizon wireless has released network extendors that can connect to your broadband internet connection and broadcast cell signal, thou looks like your overseas so i'm not sure if any the gsm carriers have anythign like that, thou they do make cell phone boosters or amplifiers that would increase your signal
you said the other phone has good signal in same location, here you could grab that tower id and edit the prl with it or change home sid so that phone talks to it but at the risk of possible roaming charges depending on your carrier,
i'm guessing you have a gsm diamond? if so i think your version of PRL is called internernational roaming database or IRDB, not sure if it can be modified on the gsm side but might be worth looking in to unless you want buy cell booster ( good ones are usually $200us or more i've seen some over 1k but should get decent one for 200
you mentioned sticker antenna most the cheap ones i've seen are groundplanes that hide between the batter and phone, thou not sure that would be good spot, thou if your refuring to an actual antenna that use proimty to transfer signal instead of connection, the internal antenna on most phones is on the back at the top
thanks for your reply runkittyrun, ill look into your thoughts

Signal strength bars fluctuating

Hi guys, I just got my Incredible S yesterday, and I absolutely love this phone!! The only problem so far is the fluctuating signal bars. I'm not sure if this topic has been discussed here, but it seems to me that when I hold the phone...my signal gets weaker. When I put the phone on down..the signal gets stronger. Does a rubber or silicone case help as far as limiting signal interference?
Are you talking wifi signal or 3g signal?

I'm talking about 3G/H. It's such a shame. I really liked this phone, but designing the antenna on the battery cover is a huge flaw. What were they thinking?!!??
I also have the signal strength fluctuations. I have tried everything: changing the SIM card, changing operators (Swisscom and Sunrise), changing settings GSM alone, WCDMA alone, and GSM/WCDMA auto, and soft reset. The only thing I have not yet tried is a hard reset.
I wonder if somebody else has the same problem? The consequence of this problem is that often times the quality of the calls is lousy and/or the calls are dropped.
Please help me..
Have to say, my signal level is dreadful compared to my bog standard Nokia mobile phone in low signal areas, I get no signal on my Inc S while 2 or sometimes 3 bars on my Nokia. It's really spoiling an otherwise brilliant device. One thing I was wondering is if changing radio from the 22_M to the 27_M might help, anybody know what the difference between them is ?
and, data does not work over 50% of the time on gprs, but fine on hsdpa/3g/edge, don't know if that's also down to poor signal reception ?
I had the same problem with my IS. when the internet connaction GSM/WCDMA auto i had many unexeptable call ends. I put the internet connection to GSM only and every thing is ok. Acording to info i have the problem is in some operaters new software when the network type changes the telefone cannot change it normaly.
After visiting other fora, I have a crucial question to ask: is the reception problem (fluctuating bars, dropped calls, WiFi disconnecting) a generalised problem, or, rather, is my phone faulty, and therefore should I have it repaired?
HTC update the radio module immediately....

I also believe that the desire s has this same problem they are similarly designed devices now running with very similar software.
even though at times signal can be great without moving it can drop to nothing and I'll lose all signal, which I believe has caused me miss several calls as they've gone to voicemail rather than ring on the phone.
I'm hoping that an upgrade to the phones radio will fix/improve this over time (the optimistic outlook)
Sent from my HTC Desire S using XDA Premium App
signal
its the antenna design =Fail , put it flat on a desk and dont hold it and watch your signal go up pick it up and its like an hour glass going down
I am now arriving at the conclusion that sound quality and dropped calls (and bars fluctuating) can be explained by a connection problem when using GSM/WCDMA Auto. The problem disappears when using GSM Auto. Any views?
Same here, but it is better on "wcdma only" either. I'm suspectinig it has issues only when switching between wcdma and gsm

Signal drop problem

I have two weeks old o2x and o2 carrier, and i have very often signal dropping.
It drops signal during phone call or i can see red X above signal bar from time to time. I have to hit automatic search for network to connect again...
Anybody with same problem? Is it software or hardware based?
I have V10C, it is latest for my country...
thx
Mayb your holding it the wrong way.
The antenna is located on the bottom of the phone.
So keeping your phone tight during call can drop signal.

Xperia Z antenna

Hello XDA community.
I got some problems with my network signal indoors . Outside I have no problem , the GSM signal is full all the time but inside it's showing no signal or 1 bar sometimes...
I tried different GSM carries , same problem.
Should I change XZ's antenna ( cable , cover and contacts ) ?
Ditto
I have a similar problem.
I'm the second owner and this phone has no gsm network signal unless i'm standing on a hill next to a tower....then i'll see full bars
