Incipio two piece case, $27 at store, willling to sell for 10 plus shipping - HTC Incredible S

Bought a two piece incipio case about two weeks ago, in great condition, nothing wrong with it, but of coarse my parents didn't know and bought me the otterbox commuter case, which is basically the exact same thing, so I'm willing to let this go cheap, it's a great case, esp for about $13. PM for pictures. paypal only.
I would return it but of coarse Verizons great 14 day return policy bit me in the arse again.
Thanks guys.
I finally found a site, they are selling it for $30..

Does anyone know European vendors for this case?

Hi there,
I've been looking for a new case for my x7500 and found this American item on Ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250314288001
However, the vendor doesn't answer my questions regarding payment, so I wonder if anyone in the EU is also selling this case.
Ps: I don't like nutshells, Pielframa, Pdair etc. since none of them has this subdisplay window.
Thanks for any hint

Hi Will
Before you commit to anything see this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=384070
post 6 and 9
I believe its the same case but you could check with totalkill in case im mistaken
Thanks for the reply, I thought as much that this case wouldn't win first prize but it's the only one which has a subdisplay window. I can't understand why HTC cases don't have this feature...
The OEM cases for the 7510 does have a sub display, and is the exact same size as the ones with the display. You can find them at expansys for about 40 bux. I think that and the tuff as a nut is an ideal way to go. Now that I`ve ordered a new housing i plan on trying a rhino skin when the new housing comes. I do suggest you use thgat ebay case only if u still plan to put the phone in a tuff as a nut pouch or you will definately be sorry, like I was after the 2nd week of purchase.
Ach, what fool I am! I've just bought a Pdair...oh well, it should do.
hey will, how is the pdair as I want a new case to protect mine.

Noreve Case - suggested supplier please

Based on reviews here I have decided to go for a Noreve leather flip case but availability seems to be an issue. Anyone know where it is best to source one in for delivery to UK? Have tried Mobile Fun but they have no idea of delivery at the moment.
Thanks
Noreve directly sell their case on line to every where despite the courier charge is quite high.
inkino have them in stock from Friday I think,
I got mine from them, give them a ring as they seem to know more on the phone than online..

Hi all,
I plan to buy this case too, only one more thing is not clear, is this case allowed to answer the phone without completely open front cover?

My Nexus 7 Accessories Order :)

I got this case-
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0083P0MI4/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
and this screen protector-
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008EO263I/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i01
They'll both be here Monday, which is when my Nexus 7 (16 GB) will be delivered too. I have and have had products from both Moko and ArmorShield, and both are excellent quality.
I think I'm going to buy that case. For $6.99, it will hold me over until a better one comes around. I don't like it for permanent use.
I do want a screen protector too, but I only want the non-spray self-sticking (static cling?) ones. I bought one of those for my wife's iPad and it worked great. I bought a spray-and-stick one for my SGT8.9, and it sucked (Zag).

Well, MoKo makes good stuff, it should last a while, I think they are just doing the deep discount to get in on the Nexus 7 frenzy. I agree on the Zagg's, I don't like them either, but ArmorShield, Skinomi and BodyGuardz are all good ones, they all make dry apply and wet apply. I usually go for dry apply on phones, like my Galaxy Note i717, but on bigger things like tablets the wet apply ones are easier to install and work with, at least for me. The ArmorShield's are really thin, don't yellow and are not sticky like the Zagg's, which is one reason why I dislike Zaggs too.
Just ordered that case as well. Can't beat that price with prime shipping.
Thanks for the post.

I ordered the case a few days ago and already got it. It's actually quite nice and more indicative of its real price and not the $7 I paid for it.
I ordered a moko one that has the magnetic sleep/wake function. Sort of a gamble because there is only one pic, but it looks like it can function as a stand as well.

Nice. I just ordered it too (got the last one). I tried canceling my earlier Moko case order but wasn't able to in time. Assuming this case is good, I'll just return the other one for credit.

Weird. It said there was one left so I ordered it. Now it says there is still one left....

Yeah, I've been really impressed with MoKo cases, they are well built and don't cost an arm and a leg.

I received my armorshield screen protector yesterday and just installed it this morning. Had no issues, used the wet solution that came with it. I agree it is not as sticky as the zagg ones. The armorsuit skin has already dried and looks great.

Right on! I have been pretty impressed with their stuff, Skinomi's are a little sticky, and Zagg's are ultra sticky of course. With the ArmorShields, the little imperfections will settle out over the next couple of days, and if for some reason it goes crazy, they will just send you another set out.

Update-Yep
Dear buyer:
Sorry for another intrusion but we just came across this report and
thought we have to share it with you:
http://www.tomshardware.com/news/White-Nexus-7-Case-Stain-Clean-Black-Nexus-7,16302.html
With the same porous plastic material, we are concerned that the black
back on the retail version could also be susceptible to dye to some
extend. It may be embarrassing but we have to admit that we did not
have this issue in mind when our fist batch of Nexus cases was made.
Although the case has NOT left any mark on neither of the white or
black Nexus 7 we have after a short period of normal use, we would
rather be overcautious and have more intensive tests done before we
can comfortably let you use the case, even as a temporary solution. We
definitely could not afford to have you as beta-testers on this issue
with your brand new tablets and would suggest you hold off using the
case until you get further confirmation from us or a replacement case,
hopefully within 5-7 days. You can be assured all our future shipments
will be fully compatible with Auto wake/sleep feature and free of any
staining problems guaranteed. You will get to choose any style you
prefer from our whole selection of Nexus cases as the free
replacement.
I understand most of you will get your Nexus 7 today and I am really
sorry to disappoint you with this message but please do excise caution
if you have to use something else on your Nexus. Again, I apologize
for the inconvenience and would appreciate your understanding and
patience in this process of getting the right protection for your
Neuxs. This is what we do and we will do it right for you.
Please also let us know if you have any comments or suggestions. Thanks, Jim
WOW, I don't think I've had such good customer service, at least not that I can remember! Most companies would be like "Oh, sorry about that case we sent you last month, it probably left marks allover your device, sorry, but we can't do anything".

I know, I'm shocked too. Question: you just ordered the one case in your OP, right?
I ask because I ordered TWO cases from this seller. The one you did, plus the $12.99 smart case they came out with on Sunday. I wanted to make sure that this email was about the first case, not the second one (or both).
I am really shocked that they would have gone so far to help their customers for something that cost $6.99 shipped. I was actually going to return that case, since I got the better one, but I think I'm going to keep it just out of support of the seller.

Yeah, just that one. I am really impressed too, it shouldn't be shocking to get that kind of customer service, but the world being like it is today it's surprising to get that level of service, I am definitely going to be doing more business with them in the future!

Another free case....

Bought the original Blurex one for $6, which turned out to be pretty crappy but then they made up for it by shipping me the updated model for free. (Which is a lot nicer!)
Then I had also placed an order for the Poetic case below:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008IEGS9W/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00
And before I've even received it, I got this e-mail this morning:
Dear Valuable Customers,
Thank you for purchasing Poetic HardBack Protective Case for the Google Nexus 7 Android Tablet by Asus. We have found there is slight problem on the case. The magnet inside the case is too strong to make case sleep while fold back the cover and hold like a book. Sorry about nothing seeing this problem while designing this product. Please keep the original one as backup, you don’t need to ship back to us. We are managed to provide a free replacement update version case that correct this problem as Poetic stand behind of their products within 2-3 business days. We are shipping updated fixed version out within 2-3 business days. You will definitely receive the update fixed version by the end of next week (August 3th). Please give us a chance and wait until update version products before give out product comment on this product.
Best Regards to all that support Poetic, we will continue provide more innovative products for Google Nexus 7 device before anyone else.
Regards,
Customer Service
Damn Lucky, haha. You should try buying a lottery ticket
Yeah, four cases for $15.95 is pretty good.
I already gave one away though. (The 1st Blurex.)
Funny, I got the same message for the MoKo slim-fit case....
Dear buyer:
Thanks for purchasing MoKo slim-fit case for your Nexus 7. We are
sorry to inform you that we have found some issue with the built-in
magnets in cases that are scheduled to ship today. The magnet is
installed to support the smart wake/sleep feature of Nexus 7 but
unfortunately it would also put the Nexus to sleep when the front
cover is folded against the back, due to the slim profile of this
particular case. We are sure you would not like to purchase a case
like this and this is not a case we would sell either. But we have
decided to ship this current case to you to provide a TEMPORARY
solution to protect your Nexus before you get the the improved
replacement from us. We have taken measures to rectify the issue in
our future production and the replacement cases should be ready
sometime next week. The fully working replacement case will be shipped
to you at no extra cost and you don't have to return the temporary
case. You may want to remove
And please let us know if you would like us to make other
arrangements for you. We can also provide any of our Nexus 7 cases as
a free substitute if you prefer. All other nexus 7 cases we carry come
with the smart wake/sleep function but don't have the same issue as
the "temporary case" has. You can check the selection here:
A lot of these cases come from the same factories in China, and all that changes is the reseller's name on the case! (If it even has one. :laugh
Really can't complain too much though as they are sending out free cases. That's decent customer service. The case + shipping again must really not leave them much profit...

no i think they are still getting a good profit. the cases probably cost them $2 to make? they are selling them for $14, do the math
Not the ones I've bought.
First one was six bucks and they've shipped me two cases.
The second was ten bucks shipped and they've shipped me two cases.
If you guys want to send one of the old ones my way I'll.... up your thanks meter. :good:
anyone know how to fix this? i got the same poetic case and received the defective one , and emailed me that their gonna send a replacement too, but im just wondering if we can fix the first one by hand..

Is it Worth the extra money?

Hi all, I know both of these cases have been around this forum at some point, but I don't want to bring up a dead thread.
I'm just curious to owners that have either of these cases:
http://shop.portenzo.com/hardback-for-nexus/
And:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251139617...:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_11985wt_1037
I just want to know, is the eBay case good quality etc, I've heard good things about it.
Or is it worth the extra spend, and go all in for a portenzo case?
I love the portenzo cases especially how you can design it to represent you, but spending that much on a case is something I have never done. Is the build quality etc really that much better to warrant spending over 40$ on the portenzo?
The portenzo comes to 43+$ for me as the shipping is quite expensive due to me being in the UK.
THANKS IN ADVANCED !
I was happier with my $7 Amazon case then my $50 Portenzo case, so I would say its not worth the extra $$$
I've just taken delivery this morning of the case you've linked too on eBay from seller wedo-bestdeal.
Ordered Tuesday afternoon, came this morning. So good service.
As for the case, I'm happy with it!
It doesn't add too much more bulk to the tablet, folding the cover back turns the device on, as expected, and folding it right behind it, like you'd hold it whilst using it wth two hands, doesn't cause the tablet to sleep. I've read on a few posts that the magnets in some cases can be too strong and cause it to sleep by doing that.
I've folded the case to stand the tablet up, and to just have it at a gentle slope, both works well. It will jsut take a little time for the cover to be less stiff.
my only moan is that the case over laps, and curls underneath adding a little unavoidable bulk to it, but it's not much, and after playing with it, I can live without without a problem!
Get one, for £10, what's the worst that can happen?
I have that eBay case and it's just fine, it gives good protection and is hopefully hard wearing. I also have another case that I think is much nicer looking but isn't holding up living in my pocket all day.
Can't speak for the Portenzo from experience but from looking at it, it doesn't protect the N7 round the edges at all, that may not be a problem for you but it is for me.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B008GSMRAY/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=electronics
anyone tried this one, well ive just ordered this one, will give a review once it arrives, probably monday
Cheers peeps, I'll buy the eBay one then.
Was just wondering whether the price difference offered much more protection etc.
But by the sounds of it the 10£ one from eBay is sufficient, plus it does look nice although the portenzo is BEAUTIFUL !
The ebay case is really good, you can't go wrong for that money.

I guess this is a unanimous decision, the eBay case is the winner.
Probably purchase later today, tomorow or next week. As I tend to put things off, as I only bought a case last week for it, BUT I HATE IT.
They sent me wrong colour, the case was different than in picture, the stitching was all over the place, the material was coming off etc etc.
But thats a different rant altogether, thanks for the answers people !
