I flashed my phone Galaxy S with Odin v1.3 PDA kernel without checkin on auto-reboot and re-partition,they said success... and i was following a tutorial to installa the miui rom,in the tutorial they said take off the battery after sucess in the flash but after i took off the battery and rebooted my phone,it shows screen where there is GALAXY S and below cyanogen(mod) ,and i cant access download mode neither the recovery mode,please please please please helpp me :'(.

Try removing battery and leaving for 10 minutes then replace and try getting download mode again

[Q] Galaxy S freezes on boot
Hi all,
I need urgent help. My Galaxy S does not boot anymore. I am stuck in the black screen saying Galaxy S, GT-I900 Samsung (white text). i try odbin and install some new rom, but problem still not fix.
i wake up this morning, the SGS is off, then i turn it on, the screen run to lagfix.
then .....
This problem started after i choose "no recover” screen option in the lag fix(i belive is the last one)
Please help me so i can access my phone again. Please note i`m not a expert user.
i can enter the downloading mode, but not the lagfix or recovery mode....

Simply install speedmod-kernel-k3r2-500hz.tar with Odin 1.3 on your SGS i9000 in download mode
I was flashing DRE 9.2 with odin on my i9000. Followed the instruction(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=940671) till part 1 step 5, the phone is suppose to reboot itself by now, but instead, it just shows the startup screen of white writing [SAMSUNG GALAXY S GT-I9000] flashing on and off.
I tried to get into the recovery but the three key combo will only bring me into the on-and-off cycle again. but I can get into download.
anyone knows the solution for this? plz help!

I have had this issue (Only Galaxy S screen showing)
I tool out battery, got into download mode and flasher again. This time odin said flash was unsuccessful. But tried flashing again..and VOILA..it worked allright!!

If you can get to download mode flash a stock Froyo rom and pit with repartition checked should recover your phone .

hi everyone i have galaxy mini new just couples of hours for my friend and i try to root it and change some font i try to add cf-root it give me error in odin after this phone stuck in logo of samsung and never log in i try to install another rom it work and installed normal but no login to phone i wipedata from odin still the same i can not login to phone any help please very urgunt its not my phone?
hi i really really really need your urgent help :crying: i have a galaxy mini s5570 i rooted it succesfully with upd_1.zip file and then i tried to install the cwm 5.0.2.8 it looked like it actually installed in recovery but when i tried to boot the phone it just stuck at Samsung logo, i tried to open recovery by (power and home buttons) but recover doesn't show up !! only black screen and when i put it to charge it only shows that black screen too
so i put it into download mode and tried to flash stock rom with odin but it never gets completed always gets stuck at (setup connection..)
i tried 3 computers, odin 1.85 and 3.04, 2 usb cables but i didn4t solve this problem !
i managed to solve the problem using Odin4.3 :victory:
I Recently received a galaxy s3 lte gt-i9305 from ana other country so no warranty for me
So I wanted to install cm 13 so installed twrp recovery thru odin and it showed PASS in green but when i tried to boot into it there is nothing it just reboots it self back to normal
Then i tried cwm too the same thing
After that I saw a yellow triangle with phone connected to pca and said please connect kies or whatever something like this
So i looked this up then i found that i need to flash stock firmware
And that's what I tried to do
And that never wnts to work always fails in odin
Either at zl.img or cache.img
I tried kies but won't recognize it
Tried octoplus... Loaded and so fast but installed only recovery and boot that's what was in the log
Now can't go to recovery nor boot
When i try that i get the Samsung logo for like... A sexond thn turns off
The only thing that i can do is download mode
Please any one help me pleaase

so do i need to install linux on a usb flash and use it or what ?
