and here ppl were saying you quit updating MIUI roms. good stuff!

I'm jumping back onto miui as soon as the mute/unmute or robot voice issue is resolved. I would break up with my girlfriend for working gps on miui.

problem fixed. Don't know what you did. But just like the 1.6.17 ROM i was stuck on of yours, because of the Google+ issue, it works like a charm.
Either way, glad all of the folks still working on ROMs for the Vibrant are continually doing what they do. I appreciate all of the devs' work.
Thanks.

I've been trying the 3 button method to get into download mode but it keeps booting into MIUI, never had a problem before getting into download using this method. Is there any other way to odin?

Whats the difference between this and the miui.us release? Is this more official than miui.us because its by miuiandroid?

It's not more official, translations are just done by another team.
This, however, is my custom MIUI rom with the miuiandroid base.

Yes, apps that force closed from location issues should be fixed. Google+, textfree, browser, etc.

Ok, just flashed this ROM and I am not sure if something is wrong. I went in clockwork, turned voodoo off, rebooted and flashed, but it didnt finish and went straight to the MIUI boot logo, now keeps going back into clockwork flashing and the process repeats. Is this how it is supposed to go?

the notification buttons didn't work and also very choppy. Installed and by morning, i couldn't regain control of my phone. pulled the battery.
i had made the mistake of enabling the screen on and screen off animation (crt tv style). perhaps that had something to do with it.
anyway.. i feel it's unusable.
EDIT--- I read the op again just now an i see My mistake! This requires ext4. Sorry. I am keen to test that later this week.

Note: This thread was formerly started with following name to provide patch for videocamera
[PATCH] videocam and camera on tatFroyosense
future use
Few things i would like to do, to improve the performance of possibly last sense ROM for Tattoo.
1. Using Arco's click-kernel-2.6.35
2. Trying to get FM work
3. Fixing Phone apk to recognize numbers without country codes
4. Fixing wifi signal in status bar
But i don't have much know-how to do these things, so i will try to read and learn, so that's going to take time with little time I have.
Hope some one out there, who could do these things better and quicker than me.
Well why do I want to do this, coz i do love sense.

It's because of the uppercase .ZIP extension. Either rename to .zip or just rename to update.zip and put it in the root directory of sdcard.

It's quicker than ProjectSense (I didn't try TatFroyoSense).
Battery life is excellent, compared to CM7.
Voice synth not working.
To configure Exchange mail, I'd to select manual configuration, cause auto config gives me FC.
Everytime I use Google Maps (last update), I have a reboot as it localize me.
Whatsapp is unable to sync the contacts (at the moment).

no disrespect to KrisInfinity but the fact that ProjectSense 0.1 is repacked version of Tatfroyosense with my videocam patch and with edify scripting so you can flash using Clockworkmod.
So i would like to call this continuation of Tatfroyosense only, to honour the efforts of Dexter_nlb.
Thank you both of you (george.baskharon and KingCreole) for the feedback
and KingCreole thanks for the review,
I am glad that someone could make use of the efforts i put in to this.

I prefer you resolve the FM issue. Thnx.

[ROM] ZERO narcotICS v0.3 [ICS THEMED] [AOSP] [ALPHA]

Many people have been saying that the ICS Theme for the Bionic has been bootlooping and softbricking their D3. With the help of my friend Cush2Push, we have created a ICS ROM with lots of ICS changes and will add more over time. It's still in it's pre-mature form.
Without further ado, I present to you..
ZERO narcotICS
v0.3-fixed no launcher black screen on startup
v0.2-fixed some FC's, this ROM has the same issues as CM7 until we get it fixed but in the meantime it's faster than CM7
v0.1-Initial release-based on CM7 should be faster than CM7 as time progresses
-ICS themed
THIS ROM WILL HAVE SIMILAR/EXACT BUGS/ISSUES THAT THE CM7 BUILD BY HASHCODE HAS SINCE IT IS BASED OFF OF HIS DEVICE TREE
this rom contains:
-zero settings thanks to cush 2push
-ics theme thanks to liquid
-only CORE google apps
-faster and more features than cm7
known issues:
-phone fcing during call but call still going through
-broken camera
-broken torch
-wonky audio
that said I wouldn't use this as my daily as its still in dev stage
DOWNLOAD LINK:
v0.3 DOWNLOAD (Fix for Zero settings FC'ing, download this and flash):
Install Instructions:
1. Place the .zip file on your internal or external SD Card (Doesn't matter)
2. Boot into Recovery.
3. Turn on Safe System
4. WIPING IS REQUIRED., FORMAT SYSTEM
5. Choose Install zip from either your internal or external SD Card, depending where you placed it.
6. Reboot.
Thanks to cush2push (from TeamLiquid) for compiling.
Thanks to Team Liquid, for all their development.
Thanks to Hashcode! For giving us his github and device tree
Thanks to all the others that I didn't mention, if you're name isn't mentioned and you would like to be thanked, post below and i'll be happy to thank you .
If you would like to donate to my work I would appreciate it
http://goo.gl/yuHWi
Downloading right now! Will tell you how it goes. Thanks!
Edit - If possible, you should try and add Jewremy's battery. A lot of people really like the v5 including myself, but also really like most of the features and ICS like the notification bar gradient and his mod takes that out. As well as the blue glow.
Downloading !

I would of booted into bp tools but I tried and it just restarted.

I managed to discover your ROM there initially and then found it posted here.
Been using it for the past few hours and it is really smooth & hiccup-less.
No reboots or any other issues at all.
Pretty snappy too when opening/closing Apps.
Just one question- could the Launcher be made to load/unload apps-pages faster when the app-drawer is clicked?
Thanks and, great job.
Welcome Bionix!!!!! Ran on my Galaxy S 4g. Unfortunately I am stuck like chuck on 4.0. When flashing it goes to boot loader and says no recovery image found. Any thoughts??

About ART
Yeah, I know, this is why you want KitKat. Anyway, it might work, it might not. This is how I could get it working:
[a] Format /system;
Apply this zip;
[c] Apply pa_gapps;
[d] Reboot and test;
[e] Change runtime to libart.so and reboot into recovery;
[f] Format /cache;
[g] Clear dalvik-cache;
[h] Reboot and wait 40 minutes for it to compile everything;

Hello guys,
Since no SlimKat weeklies are around for crespo, I decided to build those myself. This is my first build that boots and seems stable enough for testing. Needs latest CWM to flash.

Built from source or ported?.. What, if any, features does it have?.. And what kernel is included?
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Built from source with just a few patches to device tree and SurfaceFlinger. Running on Devil kernel also built from sources.
It's very light on extra features for now, most are still in the process of being ported from JB version.

It booted, installed gapps... most settings seemed to work, then I tried to apply custom apps to notification panel and it bootlooped.. Also missing the slim bootanimation..
Will wait for update to test again..
Nice start!!
ROM working much better than the unofficial CM11 for me.

Just updated the build. The issue with apps in notification drawer seems fixed.
The Slim branding isn't included in the build process yet.

Here's your bootanimation..
Downloaded your rom, but haven't installed it yet.. I'll get back to you with a report..
Thanks, I've got the bootanim from vendor/slim repo, it's just an issue with the build process that can't recognize the screen width to select the proper file.

Got further this time.. I checked all the settings, and they seem to work.. and had some issue with one of my apps and the superuser, so I downloaded SuperSu and it "tried to update binaries" but the phone bootlooped..?? I will try again and see if it happens again..
*Edit*
SuperSu failed to update binaries for me, but I just flashed it instead, and all is well.. I have rebooted a couple times to see if it'll loop.. So far so good, but this doesn't mean i don't want more updates..
How can you label this beta if the offical builds are still in alpha stage and are missing most of the magic that makes it slimrom?

I did not label anything, I just sync'ed the repo and built. The build system chooses the label, and I'm not responsible for that.

I haven't had time to flash this yet, but I'm excited to see the changes...
Okay, flashed and restored.. I didn't note many changes, but seems very snappy and smooth..
