Glad to see you back here bro! i have to say you are one of my favorite devs. Newtoroot and wdforty have been holding down the fort while you have been away. Welcome back

Is the link good? I can't get the DL to start.
Edit: Got it working now. Good to see you get in on some of this chingy.
Sent from my Senseless Incredible using XDA Premium.

Tried to flash using CWM 3.0.0.7, wiped everything and it just kept booting me back into cwm. Maybe I had a bad download, I'll try again and post back.

mine flashed just fine, so far everything works including netflix and youtube.

Are you using CWM? If so, are you using 3.0.0.7 or 3.0.0.8?

Great to see you came back to drop a rom... Will check this out soon.

I have a Amoled, but maybe I should try 3.0.0.8.

Chingy.. Nice job
I flashed yours (I try most ROM's) to see if you fixed any of the problems I am having with my 3.0 ROM and you did get much further than I did. I did find one or two that I am still wrestling with.
In yours:
1) Can not add the password to voice mail in Settings > Call
2) Voice mail is the phone number instead of *86. Probably related to 1
3) No MMS when WiFi active - Works fine with WiFi off
4) Camera will not save to phone storage (EMMC) - FC'd 2 times out of 5 tries
5) Looks like 6 bar only using first 4 but I can't confirm that
In mine:
1, 2, and 3 I am still having trouble with. Have not touched the 6 bar or Rosie settings
And in closing:
Hope this helps now back to mine.
And above all I would love to borrow the Rosie Settings if you don't mind.

Perfect nills. Exactly what I was looking for. Ill look into those things later today. Go for the Rosie settings. And I also can't check the 6 signal bar.mod.but when looking at the logcat it said Max 6. Can anyone confirm?

Just tried the camera on emmc and dialing *86 for voicemail. Both seem to be working for me. That's weird.. lol

Dialing *86 works fine it is adding the password in call settings that didn't.
I will try the camera again later.

So it's Sense 3.0? Sigh, 3.0 is useless to me until we get a 800x480 leak since I see distortion that nobody else sees I would love a 2.1 rom though!

Ram will free up once things settle. It got up to about 140 free when I checked a little while ago

Haven't found anything other than camera will not save picture to phone storage.
Just logged into the hub ,widgets, ringtones scenes etc...all downloaded installed.
The weather lockscreen from wdfowtys inc2 is the only one that almost shows 100 degree temps.
I like this one a lot ....oh did I say its fast
Just did kill all and refreshed mem upto 164 free megs

Not a bug but when using different skins the notification dropdown is difficult to see because everything is transparent. The default skin has a white background so no problems there.

Could we have a 4x4 app drawer mod?

CyanogenMod 6 Kaiser [RLS5.1] - RC2 based, odex:ed build [6.8.2010]
This release is based on CyanogenMod 6 RC2, modified to be Kaiser & Polaris friendly (and hopefully Vogue too). Parts of other releases, mostly dzo's Fresh Froyo are also used.
What's new:
RLS5.1:
- Completely re-done release, based on CyanogenMod 6 RC2 FRF91
- System completely odex:ed (thanks kallt_kaffe for all your help with this)
- Google Apps FRF91 MDPI
- Wifi tethering - courtesy of urban69 and kallt_kaffe.
- Removed most of the "bonus" apps except Astro File Manager, due to /system size limit. To get YR Weather Widget, Brut Maps, Linpack or Nexusrevamped Live Walpaper dowload the AppPack.zip here, unzip the files to your SD card and install via Astro..
- Experimental libhtcgeneric-ril.so to enable 2G/3G switching (again all credits to kallt_kaffe) included. The enable/disable "2G mode only" switch in settings now works!!
For best performance enable compcache in Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > Performance. If you want to squeeze even more out of it disable dithering, also in Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > Performance.
Download RLS5.1: Mediafire, FileFactory or Megaupload!
Update RLS5.2
-New version of experimental libhtcgeneric-ril.so to enable 2G/3G switching (again all credits to kallt_kaffe) included
RLS5 and RLS5.1 can be updated to RLS5.2 via update attached below: rls5_rls5-2_update.zip.
What works:
Everything should be working as in other Froyo builds. But I may have missed someting - if so, please report!
- Phone: calls, SMS, standard stuff..
- Camera
- BT & BT audio
- Wifi
- Email
- MMS
- Exchange sync, Google sync
- Market
- GPS & Wireless (WiFi or Data) location
- JIT
- Compacache
- et cetera..
More here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=732040
Please report! Thanks!
Looks pretty good. Everything works, using latest DZO kernel, rogue tools running at 520/120, Full Market.
Only thing I noticed is that this port doesn't feel as responsive as other Froyo builds or kallt_kaffe VaniljEclair but still a very nice build -

Incubus' DarkStar Theme
looks just like the one in his super froyo thread
since this is a cyanogen mod release you can adjust the color of the notifications in the ticker so that they dont appear black on black same with the clock on the status bar. Everything else works i have been using it on my touch in active for a while
again this is NOT MY WORK, all credit goes to incubus

Thanks a lot man, but I don't think applaying this (or any) theme to my RLS5 is a good idea as this build is completely odex:ed.

milanche,
A non-odexed would be great. Hopefully you and incubus26jc could work this out. I really love the CyanogenMod6 settings.
It's interesting to notice no backwards text when turning on the phone after a sleep, just a little arrow on the top left corner.
I have a vogue and on bell and everything works (except what we don't have, accelerometer, trackball, etc.), great team work!

[ROM][22/07]- Wild Ginger – Gingerbread 2.3.4 AOSP – [DISCONTINUED]

This ROM is DISCONTINUED
I am sorry to say I don't find the time to further develop this ROM, if anyone wants to continue this ROM please do so. Just pm me and it's fine. Thanks for using this ROM and for your feedback. Maybe in the future I will begin a new ROM project. For now I am only developping a ROM Download Manager for the desktop, keep an eye on the portal .
Go check it out for screenshots and download :
http://h4oxer.wordpress.com/category/wild-ginger/
i`ll give a chance this evening ... looks nice
I have been using this ROM for the last hour or so. I did a backup, clean wipe and fresh flash. I have let the new ROM settle and have done a manual reeboot also.
I am a humble end-user and not a dev but thought that I would give a breakdown of some of my first impressions and observations.
I like the boot annimation alot, I also like the lock screen. Both look clean.
I like the orange font used in the status bar and the pull down menu although the "Wild Ginger" wording in the drop down menu is very blury and looks ugly.
The window transistions are smooth as you like but don't feel snappy quick.
I think the new honeycomb launcher is a nice touch but doesn't seem as intuative as the regular launchers such as ADW; maybe it's because I'm not used to honeycomb yet.
My main gripe about the Honeycomb launcher is that it force closes ALL the time. I have been trying to remove the Google search bar widget that is pre-loaded on screen after first boot and it is impossible (and the widgets aren't even locked to desktop). Also I can't ADD any additional widgets - you can select a widget to add but nothing happens!
From the main screen, waiting for the menu to appear takes about 5seconds which is an age. The "Personalise Honeycomb" menu doesn't fit the whole screen and you can see thick band of the desktop down the right of the screen which is ugly.Once in the preferences menu it isn't at all clear what you are meant to do... You can see the "Apply Settings" button but it took me tapping about the rest of the screen to finally make the actual preferance choices appear.
I have tested inbound and outbound calls and wifi both work as standard. The music player has nice interface, camera works and stock browser is fine. I don't like the dark blue highlight that appears when you press on an app icon it looks clumsy.
The numbers 1,2 and 3 are almost cut in half in the dialer and the green phone "call" icon doesn't seem to fit in it's area neatly.
I like H4oxer's work on this ROM and I hope it continues to get better but with these quite apparent bugs I will respectfully wait for an update before I continue to use this ROM.
Good Work tho!
so ...
good review above .... absolutelly uselless to say more ... 100% same opinions as you EDD ! keep going h4oxer !!!
Thanks guys I really appreciate your feedback ! Will work on it!

tried to flash but no luck stuck at splash screen, did wipe, factory reset,dalvik...how long was first boot for you guys?
You'll have to wait 5-10 minutes... leave it for 10 minutes on first boot..
why I cant see any progres in progres bar in recovery, says instaling update ...
(now no progres of writing files) and afther just 10-15 sec instal complete,is this normal? usualy can see progres and takes a bit longer
Yes it's normal, I didn't payed attention at the progressbar while writing the updater file , but it works don't worry. It installs fast because it had not much apps on board. Just the essential.

yes did everything...dont know simple not booting, stucked on splash screen not even bootanimation
OK....first impressions are good. Startup in less than 4 minutes. Looking good. Everything is working out of the box, no force closing or similar problems. Nice themes, Market app is interesting
LCD density set to 115 and dialpad and everything else looks good
need to be done
- icons in status bar - phone signal at least
- trackpad wakeup
- sound on lock/unlock
- 6x5 icons is too much... 4x5 would be better in my opinion
- Home screen - same as above
- when LCD density changed no way to add widgets or apps to home screen
all in all very good rom, but need a little bit of fixing

[ROM] [PROJECT] [PORT] [AOSP] LiquidMetal_2 (10/29)

[AOSP]LiquidMetal for the Incredible
First I need to thank Jermaine151 for allowing me (to attempt) to continue his work on the LiquidMetal For the Incredible port. Which goes to say I have to thank BigRushDog for his ROCK SOLID Metal build that the RC1 for the Incredible was based off of. I would like to also thank Sac23 and bmxerkid954 for allowing me to use their work and port their build to the Incredible, and were used for Jermaine151's previous versions of this rom. BIG thanks to Koush and the Cyanogen tam for their CM6 files and all they do. Thanks to Koush for his kernel and too many contributions to name. A thanks to gmichaelow for answering questions asked by Jermaine151. A special thanks to Incredibledoes for the original Liquid port. Thanks to jrummy for his ROM Toolbox (look into the donate version.) A thanks to 3MX10 for helping me out with all my stupid questions and helping me pick up where Jermaine151 left off. A special thanks to ALL the testers that have been involved with this project (before or now) for their time and trust that their phones wouldnt get bricked.
If i forgot anyone, it wasn't intentional. PM me and i will update this (this was based off Jermaine151's thread on XDA).
BigRushDog's thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=870944
Sac23 and bmxerkid954's thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=903470
Jermaine151's thread- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=920804
This ROM is based on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and is built from the Android Open Source Project Code (AOSP) With the Acer Liquid Metal UI on top. (continuing where Jermaine151 left off)
*This rom was not intended for the INC, it is a port and has bugs; it is built off the Metal base. Close to it original source code, just modified for the your phone*
-Proximity Sensor doesn't turn the screen off immediately, but prevents buttons from being pressed when the phones against your face and eventually does turn the screen off. (Works perfectly on LiquidLight)
-Location and Security FC's (Crazy workaround: Rename Phone.apk to Phone.apk.bak, reboot, go intomenu and make changes, rename back and reboot - thanks iceman99393)
-No LEDs for notifications (I'll see what I can do. Any help is appreciated)
-LED flashes orange when charging and turns solid orange when fully charged
-No TV Out
-Changing the Dolby Mobile settings could throw you for a loop.
-CarHome doesn't play nice and will not be included.
-Light sensor (Rom includes Brightness widget)
PLEASE READ - Tips & Tricks:
-To Drag Icons to Other Screens Faster
Drag the icon to the numbers at the bottom of the app drawer
-To Dial *228 for Activation or PRL update (*228 FC's on some AOSP roms)
Dial *228+ (long press the numeral zero key to add the plus sign)
-To Hide the Whole Dock or Half of it
Drag ALL of your icons for the launcher into the app drawer and the notification bar will rest at the bottom of the screen.
Leave just 4 icons in the top row of the launcher and the dock will become half size.
-To Do Normal Reboot/Recovery Reboot
Use Quick Boot app.
-To Make the Weather More Accurate
Open your widgets app (either with the icon or by long pressing the home button, while the screen is unlocked).
Long press the weather widget and drag it to the trash can in the bottom left.
Hit the "+" button and add weather again. It will let you search for your specific city.
-If You don't Like all of the Vibration Feedback, You Can Turn it Off
For Buttons: Settings-->Sound-->Haptic feedback
For Stock Keyboard: Settings-->Language and Keyboard-->XT9 Text Input-->Preferences-->Vibrate on Keypress
-If You Don't Like the Transitions, You Can Turn Them Off
Settings-->Display-->Animation-->Some or None
-If You Don't Like the Launcher, Install Your Favorite Launcher (FIRST!!!!) and THEN Change it
Settings-->Applications-->User Interface. After rebooting it will ask your to choose you launcher (DO NOT CHOOSE LAUNCHER2) (Thanks cooljames2186 for finding this)
If you don't install another launcher before doing this, you may end up in a bootloop
-If You Select Custom Wallpapers and No Longer Want Them Displayed in the Wallpaper (Home Decor) app
Use Root Explorer (or your favorite file manager) and navigate to here: /data/data/com.acer.android.breeze.launcher/wallpapers/user/
Delete any of the numbered folders (i.e. 1, 2, etc)and they will immediately disappear from the wallpaper app.
What's Included:
MMS (Send/Receive)
720P Camcorder
8MP Camera
GPS works
Bluetooth works (Wiimote should work but I can't test that)
Working Wi-fi
Wireless Tether (I've tested with included kernel)
Koush's kernel from CM6.1 (Thanks Koush!)
Gingerbread Keyboard is the default
Google Talk
AdFree
Brightness Widget
T9 Dialing like SENSE!!!
MORE Acer Bloatware Removed
Zipaligned and Deodexed
VERY Fast System (Please allow it to settle down after first flashing)
New widgets
Verizon apps show up in the market
and much, much, more..
Instructions:
1. Download the Rom to your SD card.
2. Nandroid
3. Wipe data/factory reset, Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache (i recomment formating /boot and /system in advanced menu)
3. Flash the rom zip via recovery.
4. Boot it fully (You shouldn't get a FC if you hit back arrow at region selection, but the FC doesn't hurt anything).
5. Go through set up or skip though it.
6. Set up your Gmail account, let it sync, get your updates from the market.
It may be sluggish after your first boot (Rom's take time to settle in). 7.Please give it 15 mins or more (depending on how much media you have on internal memory and your sdcard) because the media scanner is going through all of your media, adding it into it's database and creating thumbnails.
8. Enjoy!
**PLEASE do not ask for ETA's on updates (I will do what I can with the help i'm able to get)**
***Market 3.2 is included (ICS leak)***
****Netflix is confirmed working (if interested)****

honestly i forgot all about it. i've been up for like 20 hours straight. I went through, updated all the apps and tried to slim it down a little. I added the ziggy kernel, and it's so smooth (if it's possible to be more than it was.) thanks again.
I'll update OP with changes in the future.
Thanks again to all that helped me out, and were involved before I came along.

Rom boots and runs GREAT. Able to be used as a daily, i'm calling alpha because i plan to do a lot of work.
Interesting. I will have to try this out later. Hopefully it'll be a slow day at work lol
Please do, and let me know what you think.

Have you tested this with Chad's Froyo Incredikernel? If not, I'll flash that after I get around to flashing this ROM and report back.
EDIT: After I test the ROM with the kernel you use, of course.
No I haven't tried his incredikernel yet, but as long as its an aosp froyo compatible kernel it should work. I'll download now and try.

Edit:
Installed and running just as smooth, i'm not a benchmark guy anymore. If you want to compare with quadrant go right ahead.
Ok cool. I've been on my phone a decent amount today and am waiting on a couple calls, so if I can't get to it today I'll get it tonight. Looks really cool. I am running NilsP's 3.5. Gingersense at the moment which is really good. I would prefer an AOSP ROM but the stock look is too boring to me and MIUI is too iPhone like, although it has some really cool looking themes. This may be just what I'm looking for lol
Thanks for trying. All credit goes to those listed in OP. right now its just updated (apps) and slimmed down. But there are things in motion. Hopefully this takes off again.

Yep, no problem. And by stock look, I meant like what you would get on a Nexus or a standard AOSP ROM, not this. Hope I didn't cause any confusion.
Man this is awesome so far, I have tried a lot of different roms and this is by far the one I like the most. Thank you
@Bull, I figured that was what you meant.
@Dark, I was away from the Inc for a while. But this was my favorite ROM. I'm hoping to get it bug free. And i'm going to try my hardest to get a GB version, if we can get a system dump. I've got a couple emails out.

Just flashed it and I've let it settle in a bit. This is great so far. I'll play around with it later on tonight and report back any bugs or suggestions, but so far so good. android.process FC'd when it first booted up but, like you said, it didn't affect anything.

if you press back button when language selection screen pops up, English is default and you wont get the FC. but it doesn't affect anything.
So far the only issue I've seen is GPS doesn't work in navigation, unless it takes a while to lock on and I just want patient enough. Other than that it's rock solid.

I noticed that to, I think its a little sluggish for lock on. I use foursquare and wasn't pinpoint like usual

Have you tried it using the "Faster Fix" app on the market? That may help it.

I'll look into it. If it works good, i'll contact the Dev and try to include it in the next release if GPS isn't 100%
that was with light to moderate use, about 50 text (sent and received) and periodic facebook/ twitter checks/updates.

[ROM] [Bionic] SkyL1n3 (Updated 11-2)

This beast is not for the faint of heart...proceed with caution! Neither I or xda forums are responsible for what you do to your device, so make a backup!
This is skyl1n3, originally made for the d4 by z4ch_skyl1n3. It contains beats, fully functioning inverted gnow, inverted gapps built in (no gapps needed), themed, oc'd, extra gov's and i/o scheduler, and it's fast and good on battery. It is an AOKP based rom. Included now are practically all the mods and tweaks from the original d4 version of this rom. Only difference between the 4 & 5 slot versions is an fps cap which I had to keep on the 4 slot version because it would not boot (tweak can affect stability).
v1.2 ***MUST BE ON SS3 TO INSTALL***
-support for 4 & 5 slot devices
-added camera & gallery 4.2
-added keyboard 4.2
-added CPU sleeper to maximize battery
-added back trebuchet
-added inverted gdrive, google+, google music, twitter
-added new alerts and ringtones
-updated gnow lib
Thanks & Shoutouts:
z4ch_skyl1n3 for creating this rom
sparkyman for helping me out and testing
jp1044
romdroidhacks
teamhaters & all devs out there, you know who you are...
kcm6969 for testing
Bionic_Bran for testing
To install:
-be on safestrap
-wipe data
-wipe dalvik
-format system in advanced
-install zip
(if updating from beta just wipe cache and dalvik)
Now for the goods....
Downloads & Screenshots
Going to flash this and try it out.

So some quick feedback, it could use a couple of more ring tones and delivery notification options. It customization is very good, almost overwhelming. The battery life so far seems to be better than the Axiom rom. The data doesn't seem to like bouncing back and forth between 3g and 4G like it does were I live. I am definitely interested to see how this rom grows.

Does webtop work? And what version is this? .232?
:droid:
Looks nice, but i noticed one thing on the screen shots. Where are the power widgets on the pull down bar? Didn't see anything.

No hdmi, so no webtop. Runs great on 232 leak.

I don't see why not, but have not tested so can't say for sure. Make a backup before you flash.

i seem to have encountered a bootloop. :/ i will fxz back to stock and go to .232 leak and try again
Flashed after going to .232 and works like a charm. Only issue I've seen this far is sometimes in text messages the text doesn't show as you type. Other than that, so far I'm loving it

An odd quirk I'm having is with Alarm Clock Plus. I test my alarm and it does the tones and speaks the time like it should, but in the morning when the alarm actually goes off all my phone does is vibrate. I've run the app on other ICS roms with no issues so not sure if it is just a compatibility issue with this rom or an oddity in the audio coding. Other than that, this rom has so many amazing settings choices. I could be tweaking this for so long it will help my crack flashing addiction
EDIT: The no sound issue for alarm only happens when I have the phone on the charging dock. I left it laying on the nightstand last night and the alarm did what it is supposed to this morning. It seems that under Setting > Dock > the audio isn't even able to be selected so that may be where the issue lies.
Also, now that I have ditched my D3 in favor of my Bionic, these are some other things I have found.
Seems to be some glitching in the screen rotation (ie. shrinks and then pops back when rotating.)
I have lost the phone function screen when on calls (ie. all I see is the notification bar)
Other than that, everything else is wonderful. Compared to the ICS issues I had on the D3, i'm loving having the bluetooth working clearly and camera function.
Thank you for porting this and for the original dev who put it together. Can't wait to see what you throw our way post Beta
EDIT: I'm starting feel like I'm the only one running this So, I've also found the Torch does not function, both in the notification icons and the power menu. I am also getting a battery drop abruptly from around 40 that goes down to 20. I have done a battery stat wipe and the run down and charge up, that's the only fix I can remember from my D1 days.
I've tried every time for the Bionic, and and this is by far the best rom. The only issue is the gallery forecloses when you try to crop a pic. Camera, camcorder, and panoramic works. I decided to replace this cam (4.2) with the stock (4.0) ICS camera and gallery. This rom is very stable, and fast. A lot of customizations with this rom. When I have more then 3 issues with a rom, I don't use it anymore. This rom, the only issue was the gallery.

I'm using it to. You're not the only one.. Lol. torch works for me, but I'm using the stock ICS camera and gallery. It didn't work for me when I was using the 4.2 camera. There's a setting for the battery 1% mod. I have a extended battery, which all rooms misread anyway. That's why it drops like that. Use the battery circle mod, it reads it better.

Thanks Furious, I'll check out the battery mod. I'm downloading the update now and see how the 4.2 camera/gallery behave for me.

I'm going to try this rom and I'll report back what I find.
*Edit* Ok, Rom installed and working fantastic. I was able to get wifi tether to work however, without encryption. Also, if you turn on and off wifi tether in numerous succession my phone crashed. I'm also experiencing a huge battery drop from 58% to 47% within 10 minutes after initial install of the rom. That's ok, I use the phone alot on wifi and lte. Thank you for this rom

Marshmallow update for Axon pro released

ZTE has released the marshmallow update for this beast. How's the update coming along for everyone so far?
The new update adds stock android features with little to no skinning.
Known issues/changes
•Some users are reporting stock launcher crashes, the problem can be alleviated by using a different launcher.
•Dolby Sound has gone missing, evidence provided by Arsenic53 suggest ZTE done goofed and accidentally removed it.
•The quick settings panel is now Dark and Transparent (very classy)
•Average RAM usage has gone up considerably due to system apps being badly optimized...or maybe they're just being rebellious?
•Bootloader still locked
•Battery drains quicker.
•Nice new booting screen
•Annoying WIFI calling issue has been resolved.
•Some users have reported lag even during the booting process.
•A user has reported that He/She cannot see the screen on some occasions especially when charging.
•The lockscreen is now closer to the stock version. The dialer shortcut has been replaced with a Google now voice function and the annoying "# more notifications" thing has been removed.
•Bloatware app "rockmyrun" can no longer be disabled.
P.S someone please link zte usa's twitter to this thread so they can go over it. Leave a reply so i can remove this message.
Taking forever to download...

Wish they didn't take Dolby sound.
Dolby atmos app is missing and the app drawer seems to be the old app drawer itself.hope the new marshmallow type app drawer is crashing.slight lag here and there and does doze feature in this update I can't find any setting menu for it.

The doze feature doesnt come with a dedicated settings tab. if you want to choose which apps get dozed and which dont, go to apps(settings) click the gear and click battery optimization; from there you can white list certain apps from doze (I recommend greenify if you want doze to activate in just a few minutes as opposed to an hour.)
