RIL DATABASE
GetRIL comes bundled with a database. Because I don't want you to stick with a static database I've implemented a RIL server and in-app database updates for GetRIL. This means that I can add new RILs, change oddities and make other changes to the database directly on my server. By a hit on the 'Update database' button you'll be sure to have the latest RIL information. I tend to make updates daily, based on feedback from you, manufacturers and forums.
This approach make it easier for me to keep the RIL database up-to-date, at the same time GetRIL provides a better service for you, my dear users.
When opening the GetRIL it'll check the database's age. If it's older than a week the app will try to auto-update the database. Like previously said, you can also choose to manually update the database by hitting the action bar button 'Update database'. Make sure to do this before submitting a "unknown RIL".

HELP SECTION
Found an error or issue in the RIL database?
Here's where I need you help. If you find an error or an issue with the database it's important that you contact me. Please send the report to me via e-mail, a PM here on XDA or write within this thread.
RIL showing up as 'Unknown'?
First of, make sure your app's database is up-to-date. If the database is fresh and you're still presented with the same message: Please contact to me, providing as much details as possible. From the app itself you're able to attach your "unknown" RIL and email it to me. The app also prompts you for certain details (flash status for baseband, RIL and what region you're device is from). You can also try writing in this thread. I'll be around
Unable download a RIL?
If it ain't because of you there might be issues related to my ISP. Please cross your fingers my ISP haven't pulled the cable permanently and retry to download the requested RIL at a later point.
The system partition can't be mounted as writable?
Make sure you've got a current version of Busybox installed on your device.

HELP ME!?
RIL database
It's really important that you contact me if you find any errors or oddities within GetRIL. Physically I've only touched some of the supported devices, so sadly I can't assure you that everything is working out as planned (especially not from day one when adding support for a new device). That might be RILs flagged as compatible isn't, spelling mistakes, pure bugs etc.. If you find anything, don't hesitate to contact me and in return I'll love you a little more. Sounds like a good deal?
Translations
GetRIL has been localized in a bunch of languages, thanks to the community. I can't validate all the translations, sentences and or words, so if there's anything odd about a certain translation, please let me know about it. If you can't seem to find the language you're looking for, feel free to help me out translating GetRIL to this language. Some translations is outdated (since I tend to update descriptions etc. within GetRIL between versions).
Want to help me out?
Navigate to http://sibbor.nu/getril/ and follow the instructions found there, together with the current statuses for all the supported languages and their respective strings.xml file.

Works awesome! Though I recommend you remove the 622GB RIL as it results in an unknown baseband and you get no signal.

I think there are lots of people such as myself using the 622GB Ril with 622GB BB without problems, so perhaps just a note to state that it should only be used with the 622GB BB.
Nice and very useful app sibbor. Thanks!

Sibbor you can solve his problem, by unlocking your app for download to everyone, and not restricting to LG P990, open it for all, and then he will be able to download.

Good job and genial idea keep up the good work

problem downloading from market for g1 gb alpha rom leak

Which kernel is this rom using? Maybe you should try using custom kernel from Blayo, or to get working other stuff, you could help yourself with CM source code.

The only app that I miss is the build-in FM radio but I have not been able to make it work. You can use internet radio such as TuneIn Radio (just perfect). If someone is able to make the build-in radio work with Miui roms, please, let us know.
Installation GUIDE:
1. Enter CWM Recovery. Choose "Wipe Data/Cache" option. Let it finish.
REMARK: If you already have a MIUI rom just continue from here.
2. Choose "Install zip from SD Card", select the rom and wait until the end.
3. Select "Wipe Cache" then go to Advanced and select "Wipe Dalvik Cache". Reboot now!
4. Choose your language.
4. Enjoy!
I recommend fully charging the battery and then go to the CWM and choose the option "wipe battery stats".
IMPORTANT: Once the rom is installed the unlock theme is in Spanish but I've also included an english version. Just change the theme. I remember you that the player can be activated on the lockscreen by double touching on the date picture.
LG RIL fix: You must activate the "Compatibility mode" so that you can see the letters that indicate the installed Baseband.

Well, the scrolling hack is in my opinion always an improvement because now scrolling kinda sucks. (scrolling a WhatsApp conversation is terribly unsmooth)
Maybe you can also add the extended settings mod, it would be nice to have a all-in-one rom that doesn't require you to flash additional tweaks/mods.

First +1
+2 is , it would be great if you include a UV / OC supported kernel ( iron, vork or fps .. ) whichever you think that will give good scrolling and even better battery life.
PS. Downloading now. Will test and give you feedback. I do like MiUi for obvious reasons .

Update.
I already have another ROM (Gueste's). Did a complete wipe - data, cache, dalvik and system. Then installed your ROM. But got stuck in boot animation loop. Have faced the same behaviour with Wajik's ROM as well. I think if I flash original MiUi and then flash your ROM above that, then it will work.
Have to download MiUi full , I think. Will get back to you later.
Addendum. It worked. Flashed original MiUi and over that flashed your ROM. Nice one..! Even though it is known not to work, I flashed 725 Asia RIL over V20M BB. I am getting signal, and test today to see how the voice quality etc. Scrolling smoothness is ok. Still it is a pity that neither the modded camera, nor the original MiUi one is up to the mark as that of AndyCP's moded one - available in other stock based ROMs :-(
error 509. do u have another link moon?
Thanks for this ROM, something like that was what I was looking for power with elegance CM9 MIUI. I installed it last night and now it's all very well, when I have more information I will share with you. A Salute!

Flashing Rebuild don't need flashing bb ?

You have to flash baseband with smartflash. CWM Roms for O2X are without baseband.
So far, so good! V20S Rebuild + Tweak Pack with FD on works like a charm with your "not so" experimental Kernelbuild
But Sat-Fix seems too be way slower than V20q Rebuild.
Can anyone confirm this?
