ive had this problem on and off , and the PITA solution is always the end solution! just the way it goes in flash city!

And 2 days after Hard resetting my fone, the problem is back....was browsing through the Filkie Wallpapers HD app when it crashed and rebooted the fone, lo and behold, the wifi bars turned and stayed grey after the restart and did not turn green like they had been doing for the last 2-3 days...same issue once again, connected to router at full strength but no wifi ....help me people, I cant keep hard resetting my fone every 2 days, there must be some wifi config file or something that gets messed up ..I don't know , I'm not brainy enough help meeeeee

Another devices works on wifi ?
Try change security options on router to WPA or WEP...
Try restart your router...

review whether you have wifi modem allows connection yet?

Similar Problem
I have a Galaxy S GT-I9000 running Darky's ROM 10.2 EE also.
Whilst at home I can connect Wi-Fi to my home router and whilst using the internet the Notification Bar icon turns from Grey to Green as I use the internet.
On the train yesterday I connected to the free Wi-Fi, phone showed me as connected but the icons remained grey and I could not use the internet.
I have checked all my settings several times without finding the problem.
Truly annoying and I am NOT flashing again!
If I find Darky's ROM is the problem then I will change to another ROM or go back to Stock and stay well away from Darky's ROM.

I have similar problem here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1846850
i will post solution there after i find it.
If anyone has a solution already, please share it.

Problem with HSDPA signal (3G as well...)

I've tried to look for a solution in XDA but I haven't found any...
I'm using an italian ROM (T.I.R. 6.0) based on AT&T build.
I was using my phone without any problem, with full HSDPA signal everyday.
Today, after a call it stopped to get the HSDPA signal...
If I switch the 3G signal off from the CommManager it takes G signal and everything works well...
I don't really know what it can depend on...
I'm not the only one who is having this problem. Another italian guy with the original ROM has the same problem. So I think it depends on one software I've installed on my kaiser... but I don't really know why it started to have this problem now. I was only calling, and doing nothing more than this.
These are the software which are installed on my kaiser:

Can it depend on KaiserTweak??? I was reading about people having some problems related with it, but I'm not sure...
I had this problem another time in the past, and I solved it by reflashing the ROM.
Hope someone can help me.
Ciao!
Make a little search on the forum about 3G signal problems, and you'll find things like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=335074
Some Kaisers (apparently quite a few according to the number of people asking about it every week...) have defective hardware, and the radio will fail with just those symptoms at some random point. Only cure is to send the device back for repair. Mine went through that too. Firstly the device won't work on 3G anymore, only EDGE, then eventually the radio will fail completely and not find any network anymore.
Of course it's not the only reason for 3G problems, but a frequent one... so what you'd want to do to find out if it's your case is the following:
Try a hard reset, as you say you already solved the problem once it might be enough and would mean your hardware is OK, then if it's no help maybe try a different ROM, including radio version, if it still doesn't work you'll have no choice but sending your device back to service center.
And someone should make a sticky out of that too, it must be the 10th time I post it...
Thank u for ur answer. I swear, I had a look on the forum, but u can imagin between so many 3ds how difficult it can be to find something really interesting concerning this problem.
In the evening I'll have a look to the 3d u posted.
If there is someone who has some ideas on what is going on and has solved the problem without sending the ppc to HTC, please, help me!
Thanks again!

BUG - No signal untill reboot

So, I've been working in an area where the signal is very unstable.
Every once in a while the signal disappears, no network connection at all, fails if i try to manually pick a network.
That's happened in the past with other android phones, but usually setting Airplane mode off and then on would fix it.
With this phone the only way to get the network back is rebooting the phone. I must have rebooted it like 5 times today.
Has this happened to anyone else? I was hoping JB would fix it but it didn't.

Hi there,
I´m in an low signal situation too, at work in the office. The razr i is the first phone with very stable and good signal, compared to Galaxy S, S2, HTC One S and Galaxy Nexus. If I loose signal while walking, it is restored very fast as soon as I am closer to a window. So I think something is wrong with your device.
It happened again a few minutes ago:

yes that hapen mee to. only solution reboot
Have you tried turning it off and on again Just kidding, you can try to do a factory reset from the recovery, maybe it helps. If not, I would try to get a new device, because this behavior is not ok.
What happens if you go outside or in an area where the signal is good? Do you get signal without rebooting?
Btw, with -71dB you should have a really good signal. At my workplace I have about -90dB with full bars and edge.
It's weird 'cause it's not actually low signal. Sometimes I have full bars but no internet, so it just keeps switching between E, H and H+. This happened with my iPhone in the same area. ****ty network.
If I stay at home where the network is usually ok I don't get this bug. Never happens at home.

[Q] Huawei P7-L00 Cannot Find ANY WLAN Networks

My Huawei P7-L00 (from China) cannot detect any wifi as seen in the image below. I have tried to fix it by changing the ROM from EMUI 3.0 to 2.3 and factory restoring it, without luck. I can also confirm it is not related to problems with my router as all my other devices can detect the network, and my P7 cannot detect WiFi anywhere I've brought it.

This is how it happened. I bought this phone on my trip to China and when I arrived at the airport, the WiFi was still working fine. The first day home, I could detect the network, but I didn't try connecting yet. The second day, it failed to find any WiFi network, as if the network card broke overnight?
Could someone advise me if this is a hardware issue or a software issue? Maybe something to do with country codes if anyone has experience.
Thanks!

Nevermind 3-button lol. I already tried that. I also just rooted this phone and tried using http://www.xda-developers.com/change-your-wifi-country-code-to-access-wifi-networks-on-all-channels/ to change the wifi code but that does not work either.
Did you check engineering mode (*#*#2846579159#*#*). There should be a test for WiFi?

Thanks, I found the WiFi test under: ProjectMenuAct -> Aging related Test -> WIFI aging Test
However, when I tap the button for it, nothing happens. Does this mean that something is wrong?

When you put your FULL official ROM on SD card in dload
turn phone off and.then hold all 3 buttons same time and wait..
This is best solution if you want 100% wipe your phone..
Remember you need official recovery for this..
Thanks Simona, but does anyone know what is supposed to happen when you press the "WIFI aging Test button" (ProjectMenuAct -> Aging related Test -> WIFI aging Test)? Mine just does nothing.
Anyone else have anything I could try?
It is a hardware problem, take the phone to a service center.
Probably it's broken WI-FI receiver (antens).

probabily the ribbon for the wifi and bt antenna isn't connected.
you cant enable it via shortcuts in quick toggle or in settings or you cant find anything related to wifi or bluetooth?!
if you cant enable it via toggle maybe you need to factory reset the phone (i dont think is needed but is better to do that to despite major issues). if after factory reset the same issue presist then you can check the inside the phone and see if the ribbon is contected but, i doubt is that the problem tho.

if i try to toogle on it just disable it after 10 sec.
reseted the phone same problem, its like it cant find the module to enable it
i unplugged that both cables, one by one and still could not find out which one is for Wifi/BT

so, if the toggle turns off by itself most common issue is the software, so...try use MiFlash Tool and flash latest build for your phone...and after that make a factory reset again. that should fix it...
there is a service menu *#*#64663#*#* for the mi9 where you can test the WiFi and Bluetooth hardware and see if they are seen by the phone and working. If they work is a os problem if they don't is hardware
he is failing while Opening Bluetooth device or Wifi device, can wait hours and nothing happens
So it sounds like a hardware problem...you can try a reset as it was mention be other users but if that not works then is definitely hardware

Xiaomi Redmi 4x Sudden WiFi Issues

Hello there!
I have a Xiaomi Redmi 4x device and a few days ago the WiFi started to act up.
I decided to take a look at the logs and this is what I've found:
pastebin.com/w6VXqCWA
I use HAVOC OS 3.0 Android 10 (Q)
The device seems to work in very close proximity of the router but as soon as I move, the connection drops.
(I tried to re-flash the stock ROM and other ROMs, but the problem won't go away)
Thanks in advance, have a great day!
My known someone gave me his 4x to troubleshoot same problem.
I also using same phone too.
At first I have exchanged all hardware between two devices to find its a hardware issue or not (noob)
After that I put back all module to respected phone.
I really don't know what happened... the wifi issues gone!! ?

Do you have any pictures, I wouldn't want to break my phone by messing up with the hardware when opening it up?
have you tried connecting to different wifi network?
while writing this comment latest havoc os build is 3.3 20200401, please try this build and see if you face this issue?
also see if other device connects to wifi correctly or not?
try turning off router for few seconds and start again and check if it works?

Hello thank you for your tips but I have tried complete wifi reboot, changing of wifi channel, connecting to a different network (same issue), others devices work fine; I tried multiple ROMs including stock firmware.
I'm starting to think the hardware is failing.

Currently I dont have any picture captured that time. But if you need, I can reopen my handset to share picture with you. you can also google to find motherboard picture of 4x.
I found a new perspective of the WiFi log but I don't quite make anything of it.
