You used the wrong resolution. The Rhodium uses a WVGA screen. This means 800x480. It looks like you did a 640x480 image there.

no i used the 800x480 indeed, but for example i used a 640x480 image because you can only upload 640x480 images the bootscreen it self is a 800x480 image

Oh ok. Well just so you know, you actually can use WVGA screen shots. Even though it says you can't, it still allows you to upload then in 800x480 resolution. I do it all the time.

o ok thanks for the info.

Does it work on Tilt 2? I have Olinex HardSPL already.

@junior0186, yep this will work on the Tilt 2, you have the HardSpl so it must work

Changing TEST ROM Splash Screens

Guys,
The GPS test ROM is great but the TEST ROM Splash screen is really bugging me - anyone know how to chnage this? Done it on XDA2i few years ago but dont know on Trinity.
Please help.
Splash screen is part of the NBH file, thus must be signed with private HTC certificate. You can't replace it unless someone finds a way to flash unsigned code on trinity.
I don't see how it can be that annoying.. I mean how often do you reset your trinity to see that message? I'm sure the official ROM would be out before someone's able to change the stored splash screen.
I see your point
Okay well it's not that annoying I can be a bit of a prefectionst. I know what you are saying just thought if its simple procedure then why not!
Pof - I think we should club together and get you a Trinity - would you be willing todo some dev work for it... i.e figure out a way to run unsigned code?
yeah, we can all give 2 € so that pof can buy a new p3600....

Guys, I hate these one liners sometimes - did it work for you? If it did work which method did you use to acheive it and are there any device requirements like SUPER CID etc... Your English is fine!
And does this mean you can run unsigned code?
I thought super cid'ing your device enables you to run unsigned code?
Doesn't seem that way....

gradient colors between screens are great!

As requested... here it is.
You are great!
Tnx!
p.s.
I will later flash this because i dont have USB cable here, bat I know this is right one...

Just pull down the zip file and it should have an RUU in it. you run that and it will flash these onto your phone. Your OS and apps will not be affected since its a Splash only update. The 3rd screen will be in a CAB (or its a png you just copy to the WIndows directory, I haven't looked to see how he set it up).
Just like mfrazzz said, and the third screen is a cab file, just install it like you would a program.

Hey guys got the second part to work flawlessly...followed the instructions but couldn't get the RUU to work I keep getting an error 222 that it couldn't verify the connection to my phone.
I have an HTC tilt with SPB Mobile Shell.
Any help or ideas?
Hi there,
i am also having the same issue i get an error 222 device not responding, i have an htc titan.
Any ideas?
I have an htc titan, and am having the same issue,
I get the device error 222 any ideas?
Thx It looks very cool
Newbie question here:
How can I extract the pics to edit them and then recombine them.
Do I need a cab unpacker?
I'm also having the error when trying to run the included RUU to install these. I wonder if it may have to do with whether one's phone is unlocked or not? I installed WM6.5 using SoftSPL so didn't have to unlock my T-Mobile MDA. I wonder if there's a way to install these awesome gradient splash images using SoftSPL?

[APP] Splash Changer

This is a little experimental, but here's a little something if you get bored:

Splash Changer is an application I wrote that uses Heathcliff74's Root Tools SDK to replace the splash image on your phone. This is the image between your OEM logo and the animated Windows Phone splash screen. Usually this is an ugly carrier logo, but on custom ROMs, it'll probably be more branded.
Either way, it's easy to change. Here are the instructions. If there's significant demand for this app, I'll make a more streamlined (easier to use) version of it.
Download the splashchanger.zip file. Do not extract this.
Make some custom splash images. You need a 480x800 image, in Windows BMP format. Paint makes these files, for example.
Open it with a ZIP file utility, such as WinRAR or 7-Zip File Manager.
Add your BMPs into the splashes folder, with the built-in ones.
Deploy the entire splashchanger.zip file. To do this, you may need to type *.zip into the deployment chooser, and press enter. It should appear and be deployable. (XAPs are zip files, in case you didn't know.)

Enjoy~
Awesome stuff as always man! Gonna have to check this out! Thanks!
Oh, duh. This only works on rooted phones. Sorry for my Lumia : 0
I adore your app ideas.
Nice little app
On my Focus S, the ATT splash still comes after I changed it though
He-he, of course big thanks to Jaxbot for the app but I have a question to the app fans: how often you guys rebooting your handsets?
P.S. Jaxbot, nothing personal of course! I like and appreciate your work.

Thx. I was looking for a replacement since the Holoh blue theme didn't worked with 2.8.6.0
Hey, thanks mate! It looks awesome!
Cheers!
Everything is great, keep up the good work!!
Thought it was just a theme, formed like the ui.zip TWRP themes, but it's the whole recovery.
Isn't that themed like one of these?
Can anyone make a UI.zip version?

If anyone needs a new splash i resized and removed some device specific info so that it would be appropriate for our phones, I personally think this matches the material design really well.

Question How can I change the booting splash logo?

How can I change the splash logo? I did it quite easily on Redmi 5, by overwriting "splash.img"... I don't think there is such a thing here at all...

Windows XP Bootanimation
hello! bootanimation of windows xp, it works perfectly on 1080x2400 screens, (RN10PRO) I don't know how to make a flashable zipper, if you are able do it please :)
forum.xda-developers.com
So, focus on the bootanimation.zip. There is risk, so first save off the original bootanimation.zip. This source above lets you see the steps to install one, once you get it set up with the animation of your choice. This one is also not yet flashable, but the steps are accomplished in custom recovery. I've changed the boot image before in other phones and I recall swapping the bootanimation.zip, but not sure if exclusively.
