in·sen·si·tive (adjective) - not affected by physical or chemical agencies or influences: insensitive to light.
min·i·mal·ist (adjective) - being or offering no more than what is required or essential
*Widgets in Screen shots: Digital Clock Widget and Simple Text-Text Icon Creator. (Both free from the market)
The ROM:
Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread)
Re-Based off of the 4.08.605.2 stock rom.
Trackpad Wake/Unlock
Native Screenshot Feature (Thanks JoelZ!)
Custom boot animation (Thanks Dysgenic!)
I have removed 95% of sense while keeping it functional.
Less than 114MB in size.
Sense 2.1+ Type Quick Settings (Thanks sk806)
Long press Volume up/down, while screen is off, to skip music tracks
Advanced Power Menu
MIUI Music player
Optional Music Players in InSensitive folder on sdcard
This is a very, very, fast ROM!
Vanilla Desk Clock and HTC World Clock (In case you remove the HTC Lockscreen)
ADW Launcher
Green Over Scroll Glow
Facebook for HTC sense was left in for contact syncing
Minimalist initial set up (No setup wizard and no default widgets or icons to remove)
Too tired to remember the rest right now... Give it a test drive.
Known issues:
None!
Full Wipe and Flash Instructions:
Make a Nandroid Backup of your current rom
Reboot into ClockworkMod
Choose "wipe data/factory reset"
Go into "mounts and storage" menu and choose "format /boot" and confirm
Choose "format /system" and confirm
Go back to main menu and choose "install zip from sdcard"
Browse your sdcard for the rom zip and flash!
**Note: I know there are a million methods that folks say to follow for a full wipe, including: wiping dalvik, wiping cache, etc. Let me explain why that's unnecessary. The "wipe data/factory reset" option erases your /data, /cache and /data/data partitions, so doing the "wipe cache" option would be redundant. Dalvik-cache is just a folder that resides on the /data partition (Already cleared, remember, so redundant again). The ONLY 2 partitions, that effect the wipe, and were not already cleared are /boot and /system. I've changed roms quite a bit and this method is fast and works everytime.
Download Version 3.1 (New link to Dev-Host)
To do:
TV OFF/ON Animation
Custom Reboot Menu (Added in v1.0 thanks to wdfowty)
Remove Haptic Feedback from Dialer (removed in v2.0)
Ram Script
Optical TrackPad Wake/Unlock
Remove GPS icon from status bar when GPS is not in use (fixed in v1.2)
Lockscreen music controls
Quicksettings from Sense 2.1 (Added in v2.0 Thanks sk806!!)
Stock Gingerbread 3G icons (Added new 3G icon in v2.2)
Battery with % (Added Minimalist Battery w/ % in v2.2)
I've spent hours on this already and it only takes a second to click "Thanks" if you like the ROM.
Thanks to JoelZ9614 for getting me started on this Leak. Thanks to 00McD00 for creating the In-Sensitive Graphic, Logo and supporting the ROM!!

Link added but that version doesn't have the CRT animations. I'm about to flash the version that does, make sure it works and then upload it.

thanks. I dont use the animations, so that doesnt matter to me.

Cool! Let me know what you think.

downloading now, will let you know.
Failed at 98% because Im on the train going into work and verizons SUPERIOR network decides to switch me over to 1x. lets try it again.

Looks nice, definitely a perk this morning;which has consisted of learning about
Linux HD partitioning(it gets a tad dry after a while)
I'm going to see if the flashable zip for the kernel modules work on this, will report back

Cool! That sounds almost as dry as searching for methods in smali files. Let me know if they work (they should).
Well.... Darn it. Since I removed the Friendstream crap but added back the facebook for HTC sense and socialnetworkprovider, I have the constant sync icon after adding my fb account. I guess I'll have to add in friendstream.apk (not widget) OR remove it all and make a facebook flashable zip that adds in all 3 of those files.

Im loving this rom so far,and its smooth as buttah too. Also
It's a huge plus having smartass ie the flashable modules
work on this puppy..might run it thru the theme kitchen(for personal use)

Sweet! I've found a couple of things that I needed to change and re-upload. Should be done in a few minutes. I hate when I start an upload and find something else I don't like, after it's 60% uploaded. That new market I used is slowwwwww and I hate it.
Thanks for the feedback. Post a screenshot if you theme it.

Its fast and I have an old market apk I usually flash instead of the new market. I also use the aosp version of email and remove some other stuff as well. Nice!
Also, the flashable modules are working great! Running smartass as we speak.
Only issue is connect to pc settings fc's

Sweet! Thanks for the feedback.
P.S. When I don't have the newer Sense Mail clients (Combined inbox), I use the AOSP client as well. I may replace this Sense 1.0 client with it.

Is there any way to DIY pulldown system settings? Or is that dev territory? I'm thinking
That would be kinda sick

Everything you need, nothing you don't
Eyeball-flattening fast; has all of what you need, nothing you don't.
Nicely done sir!

I do notice a little lag with smartass, but nothing worth worrying about.

Nero v2 w/voodoo 5.0.1 - really fast! Thanks Supercurio!
Nero v2 w/stock JL4 kernel - *coming later tonight*
Mirror:
Nero v2 w/voodoo 5.0.1
NOTE: If you do not want to run voodoo, simply flash the rom, then disable voodoo via instructions below. Essentially, you will be running a stock kernel at this point.
Voodoo 5.0.1 Details:
- Supports larger nand chip
- Converts full system partition to ext4
- Incredibly fast, solid, and stable. Much better than rfs or ext2 file system
- Disable voodoo directly via clock work recovery
Installing Nero v2 w/voodoo 5.0.1:
1. Place nero_v2_voodoo.zip on internal sdcard
2. Disable ANY and ALL other lagfixes (yes, this includes ext2 one click lagfix! You cannot run both)
3. Reboot into clock work recovery via rom manager or manually
4. Select 'install zip from sdcard'
5. Select 'choose zip from sdcard'
6. Select 'Nero_2_voodoo.zip'
7. Select 'Yes - install Nero_2_voodoo.zip'
8. Wait for installation to finish
9. Reboot
10. Once reboot is selected, your complete file system will be converted to 'ext4', this will take roughly 2-4 minutes. Please be patience and wait. You will hear Linda's voice telling you that its being converted, this is how you know its working.
11. Your phone will finish booting after conversion. Now you're done!
12. You MUST disable voodoo first if you decide to flash anything else - instructions below
Disable Voodoo:
1. Reboot into clock work recovery via rom manager or manually
2. In CWR menu, select 'voodoo lagfix'
3. Select 'disable lagfix'
4. Select 'go back'
5. Select 'reboot system now'
6. Your file system will now be converted back to rfs. This will take about 2-4 minutes, be patient!
7. Once your phone reboots, reboot back into clock work recovery and you may now flash anything of your choice
And to think I was going to go to sleep without checking XDA. Many thanks to everyone that has worked on getting this out (that includes everyone that used the betas to find problems).
Look forward to seeing what is in store beyond this.
Nice! Downloading now!
Hell yeah its official now.
Flashed over fine with Supercurio's stock JL1 with voodoo5. Totally diggin the drunken clam bootscreen. Now time to run it through some tests. So far so good though!

So far soo good. I have been only texting myself lol but it vibrates fine and sends MMS fine. I havent encountered the blank messaging screen yet and i have been running through it quite a bit. All seems well. just gonna run some more tests with other kernels to see what I like best. So far for the performance/good battery the stock JL1 with voodoo5 has been my favorite with Nero b3.
Messaging is black and white again, is it the default one? Can we have the stock mms from Samsung?

Thanks, I think the OP should always include SS of the new rom. It seems like this rom doesn't have battery mod :-( ?
I understand the better performance of Nero v1 but i am just so nostalgic about Beta 3 look.. the notification bar, the messaging app, and the boot up screen especially
Looks like we're off to a good start. For those who don't already know, this thread is following the new suggestion from the town meeting:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=871476
Another suggestion:
If you want to say "Thanks" (or similar) to the OP, use the provided button. If you need to post such comments like "Thanks", "Downloading now!", etc (if that's all you want to say) instead merely click the "Thanks" button alone. It will reduce clutter and increase the readability of this thread. That's what I plan to do if I decide to try it. Again, it's merely a suggestion for keeping things clean while this thread is still fairly short.
For those that are asking about the Haptic feedback, the OP says it's working (for the keyboard, at least).
Any way to have this Rom uploaded to a Hosting site?
For some reason I've been getting horrible speeds off the server.
1076B/Sec - 22 hours left!
Thanks!
Ahh, I just installed beta3 lastnight. Guess I can put this in before I get all into beta3. many thanx, having a lot of fun with my new phone after years of windows mobile crap.
Is OCLF supposed to now work in team whiskey's roms? And then, if not, why is it included? On that note... any word on the ULF kernel? I've been trying to find one with decent battery life but that hasn't happened yet.

Setting up the launcher:
Images for the launcher can be found in the add-ons folder on your sdcard. Set them or use a different setup.
Done.
Install:
It doesn't matter if you are coming from a fresh Odin or not, we want a clean install so follow the install steps.
Download M.Flagship.V5.RC1.1.zip and place on your sdcard.
Boot into recovery and Wipe Data/Factory Reset Before You Move On.
Flash M.Flagship.V5.RC1.1.zip.
While still in recovery: Wipe Cache Partition, and inside the advanced menu: Wipe Dalvik Cache and Fix Permissions - Just These Three Steps, Do Not Factory Reset Again. THIS TAKES YOU LESS THAN A MINUTE, DO IT OR DON'T BUT DON'T QUESTION IT - THIS PROCESS HAS PROVEN TO BE THE BEST GUARANTEE OF A SMOOTH FLASH.
Reboot Your Phone.
After about 10 minutes, you should reboot again to clean things up and wipe out any bugs.
Enjoy!

With the exception of the statement in the OP about where Flagship will be going and a few minor tweaks, you can consider this a final build - Themers can have at it and improve it as they see fit though.
downloading now......lets give it a whirl. ;-)
edit:
flashed without a hitch. seems stable and swift. i did a couple linpacks(9-10 before voodoo, 11-13 with voodoo) and quadrants (900-1100 before voodoo, 1200-1400 with voodoo) out of habit.
the overall feel is desirable translucent pulldown bar, bloatware removed. nice build.
Thanks Jellette! Did you get the donation?

What's different between this one and the Update 2 you released yesterday?
looks good, a couple things before i flash, does anyone know if restoring a nandroid restores my aps?? i cant remember because i always flash with out backup
also at the top of the notification bar with the vibrate, rotation, etc, keys you should expand the glow box so it doesnt have a square shape and cut of the glow
and another thing, since you dont have a back ground to the notification pulldown does all the text match, i think in another rom market downloads came up with black text on the black pulldown, just something that bothers me
looks good though

Features
This is a rom based off of Android 2.3.5/Sense 3.0 for the Desire HD
Lots of Sense elements removed and more to be removed
ADW Launcher
Panoramic Camera (Thanks 00McD00!)
Hidden GPS recticle icon (Thanks RMarkwald!) - Screenshots will be updated to reflect this
Working Rotation
Quick Settings
Semi Transparent Notification Pulldown
Advanced Power Menu
Sense 3.0 lockscreen is included but cannot be modified since Rosie has been removed. I'll look into it.
Sense 3.0 Mail and MMS
OI File Manager
White Battery Icon with 1% increments and Percentage Display
Custom, flat black status bar
Seems pretty fast so far but I have more trimming down to do.
Custom boot animation (Thanks Dysgenic!)
More to come...
Bugs
EMMC doesn't mount via USB
I've changed roms quite a bit and this method is fast and works everytime.

...beat me to it lol damn. Good work though!
Edit: I know it's a small thing, but did you fix the evdo in the status bar? Are those located in the framework.res? Because I replaced the ones in SystemUI but it still came up.
Welcome to 3.0! Hope you enjoy your stay
Yee-Haw! Thanks for putting this together
Jermaine - look forward to trying this out -
I'm excited to see the Senseless versions of 3.0.
These things are gonna fly.
McD, yes, 3G icon is perfect and inside of systemui.apk
WD, LOL!
I hope you guys enjoy it.
Backing up InSensitive, and getting ready to flash...
Can't wait to see where this will go. First impressions are great. Everything seems really stable and I love the 3.0 sense apps. Good work.
I did notice that Talk wasn't there, and I couldn't add a live wallpaper...didn't give me the option to at all. When I tried to open the one that I use, I got a FC. Any thoughts Jermaine? I know this hasn't been fully "tweaked" yet, just a couple of things I noticed.

I probably removed talk, but I will add it back in. I removed the LiveWallpapers.apk and maybe that broke them. I'll try to get that back as well.
More people should have an interest in this rom, it's fantastic.

Thank you! I'm going to post another rom that I won't be maintaining. It's basically just a better version of stock than HTC gave us. Then I will be re-basing this off of Newt's latest version. Hopefully that will fix the MMS issue. I also need to re-base my Mimimalist rom off of the latest OTA.

This is the Official GB OTA (4.08.605.2) plus Extras from Me and other devs to fix HTC's mistakes. I compiled it all into one mostly stock rom to make it easy on folks that like to stay close to stock and don't want to have to flash a whole bunch of zips to get these features.
Extra Features / Fixes
Re-based off of 4.08.605.2 (Thanks wildstang83 for putting the stock zip together)
Native Screenshot Feature (Flash fix for it here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=19865037&postcount=1272)
To take a screenshot Hold "Power" + "Home"
Screenshots are saved to /sdcard/dcim/Screenshots
Trackpad Wake/Unlock
Market 3.3.12
Stock Battery w/ Percentage and 1% increments (Thanks 00McD00)
Removed useless GPS crosshair icon (Satellite icon appears when GPS is accessed)
Advanced Power Reboot Menu (Thanks wdfowty)
DSP Manager
Green Overscroll Glow
Sense 3.0 Wallpapers
Quick Settings Enabled (Thanks sk806)
Long Press Volume +/- to skip tracks when screen is off
Init.d (Start-up scripts) support
Rooted, Deodexed, Zipaligned
Added FOTA kill to prevent any upgrade messages from Verizon
Slightly Debloated. Removed the following:
Amazon MP3
Boot Sound (Flashable zip to add it back, below)
CDROM.iso
City ID
Vcast
VZ Navigator
My Verizon
**As ALWAYS, I am NOT responsible for what you do with your phone.

Hey Frost! Thanks. I have a settings.apk file for you to try. It's based off of .3 and should not show the GPS nag no matter what. I added it here for Condemned to test as well: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=17521726&postcount=98
Try it, when you have time and report back, please.

Thanks!
Thanks, downloading now!
This is nearly exactly what I have been running, only I had to assemble the pieces myself each time... Now I just have to do a slight debloat to this, and UOT the overglow and circle battery and I am good
Previously, I had to assemble from 4 different places to get the different pieces and parts, and I always felt I was missing something....
Now this is exactly what I was waiting for.
Exactly what the latest update should have been.
Very nice Jermaine! I may have to flash this tomorrow before I go to Phoenix, but liking the InSensitive 2.2 ROM so far.

Ok Mark! Me too. I.M. is my old faithful that I always restore after tinkering. I'll be doing a nice update to that soon. Nothing to change it's core values; just newer files from the official OTA.

I totally understand. If it were for me, I'd remove a lot more, but, it's for everyone and one man's trash is another man's treasure, so I didn't want to take out anything that ONE person might want. We can all use Titanium Backup or Root Explorer to debloat more. I hope you guys enjoy and please click "Thanks" if it helps you.
"Stock Battery w/ Percentage and 1% increments (Thanks 00McD00)" umm...your welcome? lol I don't remember giving you this, unless you just ripped it from my rom in which case you can just thank the UOT Kitchen (not trying to sound mad, was just suprised/confused when I saw this haha).
As for the Settings.apk, do you mind if I try that on my roms too? Would love to get rid of that damn warning once and for all. Do we need a start up script with it too or just the apk?

I ripped it from yours and of course I had to say thanks. Yes, try it out. You don't need anything but that settings.apk. Even if that boolean is "true" it doesn't show the warning. I couldn't believe how simple it was when I hit it with a fresh mind today.

That's what I figured, in which cause you are very welcome lol. Sick dude! You are a boss, can't wait to try it out and hopefully report back some positive results. Hey question: there aren't any CPU modules that are working with 605.3 are there? Would love to be able to put those back in, but I thought I remembered Tiny saying his weren't compatible. And just wanted to make sure.
I think I might have to try this one out when I get home. I will remove a few more apks and use UOT kitchen to modify to a circle battery and some overscroll glow. Maybe possibly add the Inc 2 3G icons. Other than that this looks exactly how I like my rom. Pretty basic and as close to stock as possible.
Thanks Jermaine for putting something like this together.
I need to flash this when I need my sense fix. MIUI has been holding my attention for 3 months now.

I don't think so. I think the best option now is to flash GingerTiny, if you want the modules.

You're welcome! I saw a lot of people working hard to get all of the pieces on their phones and wanted to make it easier. Plus I know a lot of folks want it to look as stock as possible, but have the extra features as well.
The nail in the casket!
This is likely to be the last rom that I flash for my beloved Incredible. A fighter, a workhorse, my original...she has been through a lot. After hundreds of flashes and countless hours of duty, no other phone has served me better.
Despite flashing numerous Sense 3.0 or 2.1/3.0 roms, Sense 1.0 always pulls me back in. With proper management, it's extremely difficult to overlook the functionality, smoothness, and battery life of a well built stock release. Now, especially, with the extras being incorporated, stock roms have become overall winners. Not to mention that everything just works.
Thanks for another great release Jermaine! With this rom, my Inc will gracefully bow out...in style!
On the road to Vigor or Prime now...rounding the final stretch...

[ROM] {P6810 - WIFI ONLY} nOOb 2.1 [Stock: XXLB4-FOP] [03/30/2012]

nOOb 2.1 custom stock rom is now serving! It is based on the stock XXLB4-FOP P6810 firmware. DO NOT flash this onto a P6800 (3G) tab!!!
This might be my last custom stock rom until ICS comes out...whenever that may be... I really want ICS!!!!! lol
2.1 Slim Rom Features:
Root
Deodexed
Zipaligned
Build.Prop tweaks (usb charging, better touchscreen response, etc)
Init.d support
Ad Blocking with updated hosts file
Extended Power Menu with Restart, Recovery and Download modes ... gave me the most trouble since smali code is different between the firmwares...
Ability to edit the Mini Apps Bar (originally only available on 3G models)
Battery Percentage and Charging animation
stock icons with a black status bar (thanks to ssaass)
Replaced the notification toggle icons in favor of neutral colored ones
Stock Launcher (TW) speed tweaks
Included the latest Amazon Appstore app
Included SuperNote app (Slim version only since I removed Memo & PenMemo)

Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik
Then flash the zip file (It will automatically restart once its done flashing)
Enjoy!

Finally a custom for the P8610! Looks great; can't wait till public release.
Sweet! Some much needed love for the 6810
I might be interested in having a go with the slim version of the rom,if and when i get the time!
Waiting for 6800 also, no have any progress to this much
Thanks for this work.
I installed the slim version, no problems.
A little guesswork until I got language set to english.
I spent a couple of hours setting up accounts and half dozen apps I usually install from market.
All worked fine, nice and smooth scrolling.
Root, superuser, busybox etc all good.
Enhanced power off works well, tried reboot, recovery all good.
Only glitch I noticed was I couldn't get Gesture Control free [to hide taskbar] working properly.
(This app works fine on the LB4 kernel, maybe it has problems with other kernels)
Looks like you have a great formula (and skill) for cooking up roms! Congratulations
Edit: also working for me on slim: bluetooth mouse/kbd, usb adapter, hdmi adapter.

Hmmm.... I'll see if i can ask Xenix96 if there's a new firmware for TGY and if so, i'll try to cook that new version now that I know what i'm doin Plus I had a lot of help from Task650 and sk806. I wouldn't have been able to do this without their help!
looking forward to this rom - sounds like you have made a good rom dude!!
Been running the full version all day now. Started off a little laggy but is much better now. All the Apps work but also Gesture Control paid version not working. Took the kids out today so a good test in their hands. My four year old watched a movie off connected usb no problem and his favourite Angry Birds worked as normal. I also removed the widgets off the screen as I like the minimal.
My steps today...For my own testing
Put Rom onto internal sd.
Enter CWM take a fresh backup of current setup.
Then while in CWM Wipe Data/Factory reset and Wipe Cache.
Flash n00b Rom.
Let it boot and set up. Only took a few minutes to have running.
Let apps install from market. then make sure all working.
Went back to CWM full wipe and restored my backup. All working well.
Back to CWM and reflashed Noob Rom and now testing.
I was keen to make sure everything was working. Waiting for a Rom doesn't give too many opportunities to test.
I'm not very techy but am satisfied so far with the performance and the light theming looks great. This will only get better. Very worthy start for the Dev. Good work.
Gesture control doesn't work properly on the 6810 yet, I'm helping the Dev with logs to find out why
so its not just this ROM
