What doesent work:
Socialnetworks : its not a bug in the rom, wheire isent any socialnetworks added to the rom that we are used to. Only chinise version where added and all google apps where removed. We have to readd those our self. maybe htcfacebook.apk and htctwitter.apk works from another rom/telephone.
Location in HTC apps : for example in HTC ClockWidget, but maps with gps turned on should work fine.
Contacts : calls and sms dont display names, it display numbers.

This is what i did when i installed this to a new phone.
Boot in to Clockwork Recovery
First i did a backup via "backup and restore" menu
Insert a new formated sdcard with NO ext-partition, did a full WIPE.
Flashed 0001, rebooted and voila it booted! (took abute 7-10 min)
Started Rom Manager and choosed Partition SDcard
Had to install clockwork recovery and choosed model wildfire when asked.
Now choose size of EXT, i will use 512mb
Now choose size of SWAP, i will use 0mb as that will fit my need and i dont see any reason to use SWAP on SDcard.
The phone will boot into Clockwork recovery and do the format and partition on the sd-card and after reboot into system.
When thats done, i mount the sd-card to computer and upload the rom to an folder, for example -install- and all patches i like to install.
Unmount SDcard and start Rom Manager, choose similar to "reboot into recovery" for manual installation.
Start flash those files you like and reboot phone.
For example, start flashing in this order lowest number first and then next lowest number:
0001_WildPuzzleROM_v?.zip
0010_move_dalvik2SD_v?.zip (this requires an ext-partition)
And then boot up phone! (First boot can take around 10 minutes)
And then reboot phone!
After reboot, flash:
0901_grey_solid_supercirclemod_v?.zip
(Always boot and reboot your phone when you did a new flash! It makes the phone more stable)

Added package 0300_adds_system_ringtones_and_alarms.zip - Adds sounds to /system/media ringtones and alarms
Added package 0500_* to remove HTC apps, and make the phone similar to vanilla android, but still with HTC-dailer and FM-radio.
Added package 0900_orginal_framework_stock_battery_icon_v1.zip - This removes any mod made to framwork like supercirclemod (0901_*)

Yeah its safe, if you dont like the result you can always restore the nandroid backup i recomended you to start with or just flash 0001_*.zip and the apps will be back.
You will save ram yes as less program needs to be started at boot, and space ofcourse.

One more thing,can I flash the script that erase HTC apps on a rooted stock ROM? I don't want to lose my apps and settings right now..

What's the benefit from the "ext4-ish" kernel ? Does it improves performance on low-class SD card or it's lifetime ?
Does app2sd supports usb mass storage without particular manipulations ? and does this move every apps onto the SD or can we choose which one should or should not be moved to the SD card ?
Is this rom using a-swapper or a SD swap partition ? If not, what about adding a swap option in this rom ? (does it really reduces the SD lifetime ? =/ )

- 2.Download - This is the light version with hardly any apps and only one keyboard and 4 lock screens.
- 3. Flash via ODIN. USE 512PIT FILE.
- 4. Let phone boot. Wait 15 minutes and reboot.
- 5. Enjoy. You may now proceed to the MediumOR Large.

Coming from Any Gingerbread Rom (If bootloaders aren't installed or you have trouble follow steps above.)
1. You must first be running a Gingerbread rom (Doesn't matter Lindroid, Rainbows, your cousins top secret GB rom.) If you are not then please follow instructions above.
2. Place SimplyHoney5Beta1.zip on your SD card
3. Use rom manager or flash through recovery.
4. Let phone boot. Wait 15 minutes and reboot.
5. Enjoy
The new script is wipe for who come from SH <3.3 and from Froyo/GB!
It doesn't do wipe if you're running SH 3.5+ ROMs! Very Simple and automatic!
I've called it the "Anti-Noob" Script!

4tab Lockscreen and MIUI explained :
The upper right tab / right handle (4Tab/MIUI) has to be set using the new 'Lockscreen menu' in settings
You can set it to launch anything (folder shortcut or any application ) I personally set it to messaging ( SMS application).
If you dont associate the tab with something it will soft reboot the phone when you use the tab
Both lockscreens will share the same 'custom setting'
Lockscreen Music Controls explained :
Aosp - Rotary - R2D2 - 4tab : Music controls will work with ANY music player except the stock Samsung one.
SGS2 - Epic - Glass - Puzzle - MIUI : Music controls will only work with the stock Samsung music player
SGSII lockscreen known issues :
Lockscreen Wallpaper can be set, but cannot be unset. This is because the Galaxy S 2 uses a different Gallery Application. To remove the Lockscreen Wallpaper and revert automatically to the default Wallpaper, delete this file

Calibrate your battery!
- There seems to be a safety feature in Gingerbread or Samsung's version of Gingerbread that causes the battery to start draining when it reaches 100%. That said to calibrate your battery properly you must do it as soon as the battery full pop up appears.

HOW TO
The anti-noob install script is a double edge sword so to speak. On one hand it is convinient as it doesn't do a wipe install if already on Simply Honey 3.5 and up. On the other some data needs to occasionally be wiped. That said if you experience ANY problem please follow the steps below.
1. Force Close of certain apps...go to settings/applications/manage applications/all and clear data of the offending app.
If that doesn't work then use Tiatnium backup to wipe data and uninstall the app (as long as it's not a system app such as phone or contacts or settings, you get the picture. Now you are free to re-install the app.)
2. The next step is to try and re-install the rom. Boot into recovery and select install from SD. After it's done and you reboot give it the 15 minutes. Now try again to recreate the original problem.
3. If the problem persists then boot recovery and wipe data factory reset and re-install the rom.
4. Problem still there then ODIN to stock with repartition, ODIN the Simply3.8 Odin/Heim package. After rebooting boot into recovery and install the latest release of Simply Honey.
5. If all else has failed make a backup of everything you want saved to your computer. Boot recovery and go to mounts and storage and select format SD. After it's done reinstall Simply Honey's latest release.
6. If your problem still remains after doing all of this or just the last step then I suggest finding another rom as this one may not be for you.
Glad to be the first one to try.

Yeah just forgot to change the file name before uploading. I changed it in the build prop but not there. You might want to hold off. I might pull this as I wasn't thinking about the bootloaders. I might have to research those some more as to what is in there.

-keys switched around is an easy fix just change a couple things in system/usr
buddahlou posted the fix that was used for double rainbow
- Yeah messing with bootloaders is just bad juju you will probably brick your phone if you flash the I9000 SBL. Maybe not at first but when you get sick of seeing the I9000 boot screen and flash back - bad things can happen.
- the audio doesn't switch properly so you will have to use toggleheadset
- GPS
we need some drivers or something so probably won't work until we get a proper release for the vibrant.

New optional replacement package available: Replace Stock LG apns-conf.xml with the original CM7 one if you suddenly have problems with your signal or data connection you didn't have on CM7 before@all LG ICS theme users: The optional mounting-tweaks reset the selected theme to lg stock theme - open theme chooser app and select "Cyanbread". Then reboot. Done
Warning: EXT3 version + installation via some (not all) versions of touch recovery == permanent crash of Google Play store
EXT4 version not affected as far as I know.

The difference to normal v3.8 is: EXT3 file system (auto conversion, auto full wipe (!)), integrated LG ICS theme and a different edition of latest symbi0sis kernel (guestekrnL toolchain edition)
EXT3 file system has been described by many independent O2X users as more energy efficient than EXT4. LG Stock ROM for example comes with EXT3 as well. Also some say the phone feels a bit smoother under EXT3.
the rest is same as v3.8 normal edition, so please read the changelog and instructions of it as well if you are new to this ROM!
Installation procedure:
Backup your apps, messages and everything you usually backup before a full wipe (only wipes system, data, cache, not SD cards)

Boot animation does not run endlessly. On first boot you will get a black screen after some time when boot animation ends. This is NO BSOD, just wait.

Please try using CompCache too instead of ZRam - give CC a try and tell me if you like it better than ZRam. In my opinion the phone feels smoother than with ZRam, but more opinions ZRam <-> CompCache also on battery usage would be interesting.
You can enable CompCache in GuesteOC (set desired size first, I took 128 MB)

Known Bugs / problems:
TrymHansen told me that the ported stock apps appear to be in English for Norwegian users. Unfortunately I didn't have time to fix this yet :/
If you start stock Camera, wait 2 seconds before closing it again to avoid reboots
the boot animation ends after 30 seconds. If boot takes longer, screen will be black, this is NO BSOD
if you don't see a clock on notification bar, you have to change the clock's color in Cyanogenmod Settings from black to White/Grey or any other color!

I also wanted to port original LG Video Player and LG Email app, but they (LG) included xxx lines of code for LG DRM (digital rights management) and it would be very complicated to remove them all without having the actual source code and breaking the app and I also don't know if this would be allowed.
Porting orig FM Radio I tried too, could get it started but nothing more because they (LG) deeply integrated it in framework.jar and so this would also take too long for porting.
But I'm quite pleased with the ROM as it is now

Taken a sample photo , in low light condition (in attachment, re-sized). Will test for a while to say about battery life.
I have couple of requests to Stefan.
1. Is it possible to port the LG contacts to this ROM? I really love the search contact function in LG version of contacts. I know that I can use google search widget, but the built in function in LG is nice.
2. I use pattern lock to screen lock the phone. But even then one can power down/ reboot the phone even without unlocking. I have seen, in MiUi, we can disable this feature. Do you know how to do this ( power down / reboot only when we unlock the phone) ?
Otherwise, I still believe my phone is running on a dream .

Vadonka's kernel is one of the kernels which do many many modifications to the system, messing with the init scripts, installing additional stuff like Bravia Engine (which is already installed) and I can't recommend using it, because if errors appear you will not know if they are caused by the ROM itself or by some of the additional stuff coming with the kernel and causing problems with my mods and tweaks...
But however just test it, hopefully it works good for you
Maybe lateron I will make a kernel package with vadonka's kernel and without all unnecessary stuff..
1) LG contacts I don't believe so, because this is not really an LG app, it's a modified 2.3.4 Google contacts app (hope I'm not wrong) and I don't really know if it is completely compatible with 2.3.7 Android... but I can try!

Please don't misunderstand me, everyone can flash whatever kernel he/she wants, I just believe the P990 is very sensitive concerning the setting in the init scripts and so on and I also modified Ramdisk/Bootimage and if u take a look at init.d folder you will see idk about 10 or more init scripts and if you apply a kernel like vadonka's you will have even more init scripts with duplications or overriding values and there are more examples:
- temasek's kernel (if you take his orig ZIP) will replace the whole bootimage -> so my modifications too
- ironKrnl (if u take orig Zip) will wipe your whole /etc/init.d/ folder and put his own scripts in it -> so all my additional scripts will be lost; it also installs toggle2g and replaces values in build.prop (which I set for the ROM), ramsisk and so on ...
... that's why I don't trust the original kernel-Zips anymore, the DEVs should really provide a kernel-only ZIP too, with only the real necessary files...

Try copying it with a root explorer to /system/app/ !
If you get forced closes while using, it simply does not work on normal kang, sorry!

No no..! There is no misunderstatnding .
I usually I test the ROM with default settings for a couple of days. In this case, I just jumped the gun and mixed the kernel in the loop . Now that I have your 'default' ROM flashed back, and restored back only contacts, call and sms logs, can give feedback how it goes for a day or two.

Sure, just download the original theme here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1039246 and replace the theme's apk in /system/app (the one with hdpi in filename) -- because I took this theme and just put the circular battery in it via uotkitchen!
Gueste: Can the Litderose be ported. I think its my favorite.

LG launcher does have issue on category and list style, use paginated layout works flawlessly.
FC when tapping add favorites on Favorite contacts widgets, TO add fav contacts go to Contacts list and select fav contacts, it will show on the widget.
FC when selecting more > sound effects on Music player, shortcut not working even on black bird ROM
FC when pressing comment box on 4x3 lg music widget, it doesn't work yet, not needed at all fb twitter and myspace works
FC when toggling brightness control on power control widget, wifi Bluetooth sync gps works

There are lot of changes and I cant remember that all, more on emulating the 2.0 user interface.
Original ics theme is still unsupported and there is no revert to stock ui undo theme patch, to lazy to update those at the moment.

It contains Same User Interface and additional apps modifications like on GTR and RAZR-UI
This is made for user to had the option on choosing which theme they prefer
It also allows user to switch theme easily by just flashing it over the current one or vise versa
To do after flashing the desired theme, go to theme chooser and select the theme you just flashed then restart the launcher to get the icons applied.
You can always revert back to stock theme the by flashing STOCK THEME zip

The launcher wasn't made for us, so those apps were pre installed on the L7, was it?

Installation instructions
Make sure you are using the latest modem and recovery for your variant, TWRP preferred
1) Full wipe
2) Flash ROM
3) Reboot

Xposed is not supported by the developers. Please uninstall it FULLY before making any bug reports. Any logcat that includes an xposed module will be ignored. -Updated kernel to googy 1.2.4
-Fixed all audio stuttering
-Modded stock launcher (much faster, more features)
-Performance added into Settings (opens s-tweaks)
-Unlocked Teleservice, enabled all network modes (world phone)
-Teleservice LTE toggling fixed
-DSP Audio manager
-Added file manager
-Ported AOSP gallery (100% working on 5.x)
-Gmail + stock exchange
-Removed AOSP email (atm it's not ready)
-H+ icon will now show when connected to HSPA+
-Hide alarm clock (interface)
-Enable on-screen navigation bar (Interface)
-Show 4g for LTE (Interface)
-Access to CM cLock settings (Interface)
-Signal cluster fixed when not connected to data
-OEM Brightness settings
-Cleaned up code in OTA app
-Added some binaries needed for Interface settings
-Removed un-needed libs (Dalvik ones) from TTS, Search, Camera, Chrome
-Updated build.prop (Ota info)

AT&T USERS, I provided a script that will loki the boot.img in the OP so you can safely use any recovery now as long as your flash it after the ROM

Great news!!!! this rom is the best!!!
Been running this since the 12/17 build. Fast and great battery life!
First I install Nova launcher.
I use system tuner to delete stock launcher, turn off Google now.
That's my basic setup getting great battery life and performance.
I attached my Black Theme for Nova Launcher.
No need to flash Gapps huh....bout to try it out

I posted an eri.xml file here a few days ago http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57485719
put in /data folder and that overwrites framework-res.apk.

How do you enable dark contacts and dialer?
This is the proper framework-res.apk fix so the Sprint carrier label shows correctly.
Also here is a modified build.prop for Sprint devices so the device model show up correctly among other things. However, It has the OTA stuff removed that Dan put in. I was planning on building my own variant of the ROM until this showed up
With that said don't replace you build.prop with this one.

Scroll down until you get to the mods folder and there it is.
Anyways running the new build and it is perfect no RR or lags. Haven't tested Bluetooth but this is a sweet ROM guys. Sprint users should really appreciate this ROM :thumbup: since we don't get much love anymore.

GPS works fine here. You might want to flash a stock rom and fix it.
Interesting, how does that fix it? What's this touchwiz fix I've heard about as well?

HEYOOOO! just downloaded GPS Toolbox which works fine. GPS on all other apps work flawlessly now. Guess it just needed a nudge. Thanks a bunch!
SL720 here.
