Maybe its just a bad video file, try a different divx file and see if mx can play it and use software decoding not hardware.

i'm sorry my problem is not what i can't divx only, today i see what every media i put in the phone with cable using mass storage option, don't working. every files are corrupted but when i transfer everything by using a card reader, it's ok. i don't why and i don't know what i'll doing for resolve this problem

I have 2 players for playback namely Mobo and Rockplayer. They can handle videos like MKV and DivX. Maybe the video you are trying to play is encoded differenly or 1080P (other formats) which regular players can't handle.

And try "Soft Decoding" if Rockplayer does not work

try mobo player...

Try MX Video Player. Has specific codec for Tegra 2. If it doesn't work, try Soul Video, another good option.

If your device has GB rom, try diceplayer trial version.

Android video playback?

So far I'm fine with Android but I still complain I playback video in Android doesn't work well. The problem is that in WinMO could perfectly reproduce videos in format AVI, resolution: 320 * 240 and FPS 18 but in Android can't do reproduce only recognized of all videos and movies that I have one that is in WMV, therefore transform a video that I had to that format while maintaining the same settings as in AVI and does not play well is unstable and closes only while playing and I tried moving some things in the converter of video formats and still did not play well.
My question is: is there any hack or something like that to make the playback of videos go better in Android or one player as CorePlayer it was that used in WinMO and had no problems with that AVI video format.
Greetings and I hope help me.

Convert them to MP4. You also might try yxplayer, which plays a lot of avi videos(not all though) for me although it's not free.

Thanks a lot! Transforming it to. mp4 and playing with yxplayer works well but I will have to transform everything again but the important thing is that it works.
Best regards.
I have had most success with arcmedia in the android market. It uses the FFMPEG codec library rather then the codecs built into android which means it plays more file types successfully then most others i have tried. It even has a stab at playing higher quality videos where you would normally only get sound in the standard player, but they still stutter a little.

The I installed it and I did not get worked perhaps I need to install the codecs FFMPEG you mention but equally no matter because with the yxplayer and transforming the videos to. mp4 goes me well.
Best regards.

Thanks for the recommendation but if you saw the answers the problem was solved transforming the videos to .mp4 and using the player YXPLayer, the player you mention does not work but I accept suggestions of other players who have best interface to YXPlayer.
are you saying rockplayer fails to play your original avis? (at least this is what i was recommending it for)

try mobo player.... its free in the market.. plays anything....
I tried, unfortunately does not play smoothly. I tried a rock player and vplayer. maybe some other suggestions
I am quite satisfied with QQPlayer, played MKVs extremely smoothly.
Try diceplayer
you can play 720p H.264 [email protected] +AC3/DTS/Flac MKV files
for me the best player for mkv(and not only) is MX Video Player.
With mx video player you can play 720p with h/w or s/w ?

[Q] 720p Mkv laggin

Sorry for starting a new thread, but I searched and couldn't find answers.
I'm trying to play 720p mkv files and they are all stuttering in my CM7 kang and etana kernel. Youtube 720p videos are ok, but the only way I could find to play my files was converting then to 640x480 (someone wrote that in some thread).
Is there any other way to play these files?
Maybe not enough ram. Tuurn off some apps

which player are you using? Try using MX Video Player or Mobo player.
Try bs player lite

I've tried all them, but have no luck. Do you really can always see any kind of 720P?

The built-in player (and all other players usig "hardware acceleration") works for some videos, for some others software-decoders work (mx player has a pretty good one).
BUT, you will not be able to play everything on this phone. "Hardware decoder" only supports up to a certain specification and "software decoding" is limited by the processor (overclocking might help a _little_ here).

Weird, I have same rom and kernel right now, plays ok even in HDMI the only problems this have is with 1080p with high profile, or some main (see bitrate), simple profile plays good.
when i play 720p mkv files i get a little stutter and audio-video sync problems. A 720p mp4 files plays perfectly though.

[Q] Audio and video are out of sync

I am using Zeus 6.11n. All videos are out of sync about 0.3-0.4 sec. Am I the only one with this problem and is there a fix?
out of sync when... watching at phone? transfer and watch at pc/laptop? uploaded and watch at youtube??
One thing I can tell you is, I don't know why but when I upload directly to youtube it say something like "sound could be out of sync" or something like that... so before I upload a video I use a video converter to make it avi or mpg or whatever [original video file is 3gp] and the upload it to youtube and is good to go

Every video I watch on my phone is out of sync. I watch it on my PC and it is fine. When I transfer it to my phone it goes out of sync. Even youtube videos are out of sync.
What video player are you using? Are you using a hard-decoder or soft-decoder?
I had the EXACT same problem when i was trying to watch a highly compressed mkv through moboplayer and mx video player.
I trie using MX Player, Mobo Player and even the stock LG Player, using HW decoding. I get the exact same result. I tried the same video on my Optimus ONE but there it works fine. I will try software decoding and edit this post.
EDIT: It is the same using software decoding.

Try to reflash your device and if it doesn't work download a fresh patch of the rom again and flash it............
Tried reflashing. Even tried flashing other rom. It seems to have fixed itself when i flashed cyanogenmod RC1. Every rom based on the stock one seems to have that problem.
Try moving them to the internal memory as sometimes sd cards do that (especially slow ones such as the one included with the phone) see what happens and report back. Try withthem on the sd of the other phone u have and see also. Last but not least try with lower res vids to see what happens. If all fail send it to lg and see what they reply.
I had similar problems before changed my sd card with class 10. Also dumped Mobo player and now use BS player. No problems now.
I have bad sync in every long videos recorded with my OB in any rom.
SD problem maybe?

Problem playing certain HEVC files on Remix Mini

So, I have a problem with my Remix Mini (it's the whole reason why I even made an account).
My Mini can play most HEVC files, but there are a few that (depending on the player) either won't play or stutter really bad.
If it's any help, most of the files start with the letter G (which is probably just a coincidence, but still...), at least one of them is 10 bit, and one of them has an Opus audio codec.
Most of them were downloaded from the same site (but possibly different encoders).
I've tried tweaking around with Kodi, MX Player, and VLC Android (both versions, the beta version plays any video too quickly).
Any suggestions?
Anyone?

Will do, thx!
Didn't work! Please help!
For some files I've been able to use MX Player and make it work by switching to HW Decoder... However for these certain videos HW Decoder won't work and you can't even select HW+. When I choose HW Decoder it just says, "HW decoder is not supported".
