Last I read about it, the android git was not working. So he paused dev. on CM7 and started working on MIUI.

today i faced a home screen FC i have changed the home screen launcher from the
original to zeem hope it solves the problem any one else faced this problem
any solutions for the same
I updated to the custom rom rc 1 and then now to rc 2 was dyingly waiting for this thread to come over xda ...
now here is the tecqnical pro with the update
when i update mine to rc1 wifi was not working well no pro they said it wont work
then i updated to rc 2 now pro came was... my 3G connection wasnt working at alll
bt now all done i found another hack over xda and applied that ... now i recomend rc 2 for every one
plz help if ur facing the same pro.... i found a pro that with rc 2 update 3g speed is ruined... means i updated to rc 2 before that i used to have over 500 kBps speed on 3g bt now its only 20 kB.... then i stocked to the official version of rom and again speed was normal... this is nt the pro with the carrier its with rc 2 update... i managed to tweak it and it showed really good result bt again when i switched to 2g to save battery and after a few hours to 3g mode .. it was the same as earlier... and then also i updated again back to stock and the speed was normal i keep it for over 2 days on stock and all the time i switched to 3g or 2g speed was accordingly... bt on rc 2 update its only the same weather on 2g or 3g

no everything is not working fine data connectivity of 3g network is not getting properly connected and also gps is ruined up

There are some libraries updates out there for the GPS.
Here is the NMEA libraries for USA
Here is the RPS libraries for other countries or for US if the other ones are unstable
Install the zip files using CWM.

does phone book and call option work for you.......
as I was not able to find them, and many force closes, SMS not worked for me, even download speed and internet access speed was too slow on MIUI.... can you share your experience on these issues.... or I am the only one nub who is facing such problem......
I have none of those issues!
For me, MIUI at stock clocks is running smoother and better than RC2 @ 1.5 ghz!
Even my edge connection seems to be running on steroids.
Are you certain you did a complete wipe before updating to MIUI?
Most people forget wiping the dalvik cache after wiping data and system.

Ok will give one more try and will wipe out everything (will take backup also) and then comment, but without camera seems boring (used to click pic on regular basis) still give try......
@ FR , i have checked setting a lot, but not able to find an option to hang the phone, only option slide to receive, also market is not available, means not able to open, although connected with EDGE ...... are you able to access the market because I am not getting it....

Hey...... I have tried this before also, but it works now ..... what a strange experience with MIUI......
Now feeling good with this ROM, new LOGOs, new feel and everything......
Still missing two most IMP function (at least for me) and those are FM and CAMERA

Insert sim card and you will be able to adjust it.

as usual with spice kernel's
If i disable wifi, i can't connect when i turn it on.
After reboot it works until i disable wifi again.
I had this problems with amnon roms before. What should i do?
This ROM is really fast like allways
I would like to stay on this rom.

hello my friend...well... wich kernel do you have.... did you flash some new kernel of spica?... when i made the build i´ve used a test kernel of spica and i don´t have any problem with wifi.... try to reinstal the rom and do not flash other kernel... and tell me if you still have problem.

well my friend... i do not think that the problem can come from the basedand ... it can be from a folder from system/etc/vold.fstab....

Here's my MIUI 2.4.20 GB port.
This has been manually ported from the v3 Triumph port and uses different libraries than my older ports.
Credit: StaticMaal
Over the last few days that I have tested it, I have found it to be very stable and better in performance than all the current CM9 and ICS ports.
There is no old issue like the incoming call volume bug and headset bug which used to plague the older ports and also all the bells and whistles like 4 way reboot and Extended Settings MIUI control panel.
I have stuck with the old .32 kernel since there is no kernel which supports 2 way call recording for MIUI like mOCK on .35
This is also the last MIUI GingerBread port hence the tag "Ultimate" besides the fact that it has now been refined to perfection. I did this a couple of days back and fell in love with classic MIUI all over again. Its level of slickness in something still unparalleled.

when CPU set on default, it's very laggy... (i've done fresh installation by wipe all)
but after i set to SmartAssv2 it's more smooth...
and also i want to confirm whether this rom has Bravia Engine patched?

Actually, 2.3.16 GB didn't even have a changelog. MIUI GB is being abandoned by the developers. All focus is on MIUI v4 nowadays.
2.3.23 has some minor tweaks though not much difference to 2.3.9.
This time I have not removed Gmail.apk, Email.apk, Talk.apk and Vending.apk from the stock rom.

First boot up is slow for every rom. I assure you that this is just a false alarm since nothing much has has changed from the previous release. Reboot and it shall be fine.
I forgot to set permissions for the bravia engine files. Shall correct this in my kitchen app.

Because I am thinking that there would be no further MIUI GB releases from me if this rom is okay.
I shall post my cooker app for porting MIUI GB roms and you guys can do it yourself
Have to learn kernel modding before starting with MIUI v4.
Installed and it works fine (as intended) but i think you forgot to integrate MIUI extended settings
zuk has ported MIUI4 but camera not working as cm9
I didn't forget that.
MIUI extended settings and 4 way reboot mod are not released for 2.3.23. Hence didn't add them since I didn't want to use the older framework files to test the port.
You may flash the older one (works flawlessly):

WOW, this is really good news for you all to know that i see the battery back up on this ROM is 1 day and 4 hours + going on.

Rom was stable after tether fix no reboot for me in the 8 Hours i used it. I liked the mixed flavor of Xperia & ICS and expecially since it was made for my WellcoM A99's which have different radio hardware from all the other GSM X6 and variants... not sure about battery bro im not using this ROM anymore i only posted here on elol's request to share to the community. Already testing another unknown ICS.
DEV was rcset, hopefully he can google-translate his way in here and ask all your continuing queries

as i go to change the theme from theme chooser first it allowed me to change the theme but after that wile changin the theme its giving message like
" this theme was improperly compiled and can not be applied"

mokee is the best in looks with auro theme transparent like glass...
cm9 is also customizable and very smooth....
sharp also goood with stock..fully functioning
each rom has its best in it dude.

Bro I am on mokee Rom and I want to use this room but problem is I have delete mokee Rom files as of now I don't have any file reading mokee Rom , don't want to download again so any help for backup if don't like this Rom so again switch to mokee..

Friend,,,ROM comparison depending on yourself.your taste,and your usage.
As I know based from my experience,,,many ICS ROM is great,,but some app doesnt compatible and cant theming original ICS(i.e. Titaniumbackup give old UI/GB UI even it's ICS ROM)
So,,please try 1 by 1 and feel the differents byself
About battery life on ICS ROM,,not too good mate,,because we dont have fully kernel support for ICS ROM

take backup of current mokee in cwm recovery .u can roll back if u don like new rom.

Now is the turn of LIGUX developers, a rom cooked very interesting, soon as he came to our little black with gingerbread left us more than impressed. As it turns out have begun testing a further contribution, now based in Ice Cream Sandwich. I have a day with this ROM and ah was the best, even better than the ICS of China, is something that you try it and decide which is the best ROM ICS.

The base it seems. Chen+me. Cause I added "-FOP-ics" in the config to name the kernel. Chen's local version has "Shendu" I think. Anyway that is open source. But they could have atleast changed the local version. Or maybe they didn't to give credits.

I don't have anything to do with this thread or Ligux team, actually I'm trying to help fop but I don't think you can say It is your kernel because as you know it is open-source and ics_kernel_optimus_black it's a chen's fork which is a CyanogenMod lge-kernel-sniper fork. Obviously that you, chen and lot's of other contributors should be credited for your effort and work over the lge-sniper kernel and ICS but don't forget it is public and we need to be prepared for this situations since our work is public and free for use.
Don't take this seriously since I admire the work of every one that in exchange of nothing works for a common cause. I'm doing it since LG Black was released with the second rom released at xda for froyo and actually trying to compile a really stable kernel and I also support you when you say Ligux source isn't available. It should be available because one thing is to download fop ics plus your improved kernel, make it better and release the sources with the deserved credits and another one is plagiarism and publish thing under our name that we'r fully developed by others. And it's sad to see that are people that publishes ROM's at XDA that aren't even booting.

True mate, I've been really focused at the university and I'm going to finish it this year but now I have some free time again and decided to do something here. I think you really should investigate what are the changes they have made and do a complain to xda moderators if it is the case since they say it's much better and It doesn't even boot which at the minimum a ridiculous situation.
