I want to know that can I use desire s rom on incredible s with incredible s kernal ?

No, you can't. Never try to install a ROM that's meant for a different phone, no matter how similar they might appear.

[ROM] [PROBABLY WON'T WORK] CM7 BigbearEVO Mod.

So I tried making cm7 the dodgiest way possible and the legend developer bigbearevo switched a few things around and there's a 1 in 1,000,000 chance it'll boot or install. It's CM7 from the marvel (Wildfire S) and I'm posting this thread because I just recieved a PM with the modded version from BB and I cant test it because I'm holidaying and am relying on not much 2G space.

BACKUP FIRST!!!! This ROM probably won't boot or install so I beg of you, make a backup!
EDIT: I know the no booting problem, expect a fix by Wednesday night

Idk I used a weird tutorial and bigbear said it wouldn't work. Then he sent me a link with his mod and said that it might just boot.

You don't know how much I would love that. Take the ROM rebrand it as ur own do whatever you want all I wanted was CM7 for my phone

All it is, is CM7 WFS with libraries from the salsa

Thanks for the info..

I'd stop testing if I were you. I need to swap android.policy lib over or it definitely won't boot.

Not if its for a different device. Only flash things made for your device, unless it specifies otherwise.

Boot loop

Hi all,
All the roms other than aokp rom are getting stuck at boot.
Tried everything, wiping cache, and delvik cache, system, data. Ran super wipe script too. Flashed boot also. I even did s on again and then again rooted with s off. Not even working with HTC del unlocked bootloader.
The screen is getting stuck at boot.
Please help.

Can you get to the recovery?
Try wiping all partitions except sd card and install the Rom again

I am new here too. But if you wanna gain attention of big guys in the forum. You'll have to mention lot more details like your hboot version, recovery, providing logcats(if necessary).

It's the same phone as the gsm sense model. Install a recovery then any rom you want

Wait...wtf? Why would you buy a GE One and install sense on it?
