Flashing AUS HD7 TO UK MANGO?? - HD7 General

Hey guys. I live in the united kingdom and purchased a hd7 from Australia on the telstra network. The phone works fine and im using it with my o2 contract sim.
When I connected it to my pc hoping it would upgrade me to mango, it only upgraded me to 7.0.7392.0. Is there any way I can naturally upgrade my phone to mango without any hacking?
Is there anything I could be doing wrong to stop the mango update appearing because I thought mango was available everywhere by now.

Mango updates have not rolled out yet so your best bet is to just sit tight until MS/O2 release it.

WM6 for Treo 750 in the next few days

Treo 750 Windows Mobile 6 Upgrade Imminent
Palm, Inc. is apparently set to release an operating system upgrade for the Treo 750 in the next few days.
An official email to attendees of Microsoft Australia’s TechEd conference says, "Palm and Microsoft will be announcing the availability of Windows Mobile 6.0 on the Palm Treo 750 Smartphone at Tech.Ed."
This conference kicks off on Monday, August 6.
When Palm and AT&T announced this spring that an operating system upgrade for the Treo 750 will be released, they also said that this will be available free of charge.

Well? Monday came and gone and no official release. What the hell is taking so long?
TechEd in Australia is starting on Monday. Isn't it already Tuesday morning in in Australia (it's Monday afternoon now.)
Maybe we'll get news by Tuesday AM US time?
I'm just scanning the blogs and news site.

Knowing our luck they'll wait until the last day of the conference to announce it.
I'm attending Tech.Ed 2007 and they keynote isnt until Wednesday, so this artical is flawed already! They may well announce it during one of the sessions, they may even give some away with al the other prizes!!!
if they do give it away make sure you get back here and upload the copy ASAP!
Just got back to the Hotel after the Tech.Ed opening. I spoke with a rep from Palm and he said that Windows MObile 6 for the Palm Treo 750 on the Three network will be released this week. Telstra and Vodafone will be by the end of August. He also said that the update will be through Palm's website. So i am assuming if you have a CID Unlocked device you could flash with any device.
I'll let you know of any further details
Any word from the Palm rep on an official AT&T ROM update nick? If Three is this week, and Vodaphone is end of month does that put AT&T in end of September?

It's AT&T ... have they released a single upgrade yet? I think you're better off planning for never
Sort of like their 3G roll-out ... quietly placed on a shelf to die a slow lonely death.

cen u ask when WM6 will be released for unlocked unbranded version ?
NOT Vodafone, 3, ATT, Telstra, Verizon, Cingular etc
Just Pure PALM Rom UNLOCKED UNBRANDED
So its clear that it is again an announcement and not a release. I'm getting sick and tired of palm announcements and postponing the release of something that should have released yet for months.
Palm is playing with their customers. OH and by the end of august they gonna give you the exact date when it will be released: end of September! so on so on .......
This will be my last device from palm.
I don't get it. I thought they were supposed to announce the AT&T release this week. And so far that's the one that isn't being mentioned.
Never Mind. I re-read it and it just says "Treo 750." It was speculated that there would be an AT&T announcement.

Hutchison 3 Rom?

Hey guys!
I bought my HTC Touch Diamond off eBay a couple of months ago. (It came unlocked) I have been using it with my Telstra sim card ever since i got it (I live in Australia, by the way) anyway, i am now going to switch over to the Hutchison 3 network, so i went over to the HTC site to try to download the ROM update, for this network. Unfortunately, because i bought my phone off eBay, it came from South Africa, so it won't let me download the ROM upgrade.
Is there anything i can do to get this update?
Thanks
-Padfoot

Anyone help?

new to wp7 and just got an omnia 7 from germany, though it has an annoying tmobile splash screen and search in the explorer app. I cant update to nodo, and it wont let me go into download mode so iv ordered a jig, but i was wondering, are there any roms that are debranded, able to update to nodo and will keep my phone unlocked? the phone was new and sealed and was unlocked if this makes any difference?

As far as I know, Samsung have pulled out the NODO update. You may still update through ChevronWP7 Updater, not sure whether it would make any difference afterwords. Apparently, XEN, BSE and DBTJK1 are all unbranded Roms that are available from samfirmeware.com. You can unlock your stock Rom as well as all of the unbranded ones using Chevron, but you wont be able to get Nodo on any of the Roms for the moment as it is not officially available.
Not officially available? Did I miss something?
I flashed my O7 with the XEN-Rom, and immediately received the Post-NoDo and the NoDo, when connected to Zune?
This is for "3" in Denmark, but have I missed something about the "availability"?
are there any downsides to the chevron? like being blocked from future updates?

You must have updated before 13th April, and NODO has not been available for Omnia 7 ever since. Interestingly enough, some one mentioned that it is Omnia 7 that is the point of dispute between Apple and Samsung and till that gets settled we are to suffer.
Yeah, just did a little diggin' ....what a shame!
I hope that it's "just" because of a dispute, and not "unknown issues/problems" as mentioned here and there /
As mentioned yesterday in a Microsoft comment on the Windows Phone Blog the rollout for the Omnia 7 was halted due to technical problems with the update package. Testing and repackaging seem to be progressing nicely so we can hope the update will be made available again soon.
Still makes me wonder what Samsung is doing to cause all this trouble. It was the same with the Pre-Nodo.

[Q] HTC OTA update

I intend to buy a HTC Incredible S in Swiss as it is on sale ATM for a really nice price. I wonder if I bring it back to Vietnam in SEA, can I still use the OTA update for Europe if I want to?

for branded ... You will not able to use different carrier, s-offed will not get OTA. why bother with OTA, once OTA come up. You can download the ROM and doing RUU by your self. Btw which part of vietnam is you live in (?) last week I visited Ha Noi, Hai Pong and HCM City (Saigon). Most vietnam ladies are great ... slim and nice looking
Thanks for the answer, I'm only curious as I have used two Samsung devices and they can be upgraded wherever depending on its CSC (country sale code). I wonder if HTC put on an IP check to see if I'm in the correct country in case I want to use OTA, might be never though. Still any info on that?
The phone I got is unlocked non-branded one, it's branded new and for only 250USD.
About Vietnam, well I live in Saigon and Hai Phong is my home town. About ladies I know what you meant hehe, only if they're a little more top heavy...
