Looks great can you please change the notification tray, the blue and geen dont blend well

I am having a hard time finding the file for that last blue bar, in the tray. I will keep looking for it.
If any dev knows the file name, let me know.

Looks very nice. Thanks! One question... If I wanted to revert back to the blue, how would I go about doing that? Just go to a backup?

Very nice! Running this now, looks great!

Try getting black bar png from UNL3ASH3D rom

Any way of making it black with white icons?

Not trying to sound like a jerk here...
This theme is supposed to mimic stock GB. Does stock GB have white icons?
It sounds like you want a new theme my friend... Go to UOT kitchen and have a whirl...

The blue bar isn't a png its a color code you have to decompile SystemUI and edit the xml file. Once decompiled go to SystemUI.apk\res\values\drawables and the code is next to "shade_bgcolor"

Do you know exactly what xml file it is? I cant seem to locate

It's the drawables file just follow the path I put in my last post. But you won't see it unless you decompile the apk using something like apkmanager.

[SKIN] rEVOlution Desire HD Skin

In response to the beautiful DHD theme. i decided to make just a skin instead of having a theme, that way i get to keep original icons and everything yet still get the rEVO look.
I used Manup456's excellent rEVOlution Theme which is made by sopL87. (so all credits to him) for the DHD, i've enhanced most of the skin. In doing this most of the HTC greenery is gone and replaced my Neon Blue. unlock slide bar is more transparent, Transparent status bar was already present.
Included a zip file you can flash in clockwork to enable the background for the transparent notification bar to be transparent.
Also the Unlock Slide is transparent with DHD written in Blue. and pull down bar has DHD written in Blue.
Also many thanks to he_stheone64 for his DHD theme and for his PNGs. i have compiled this skin to compliment his theme.
Installaion:
save the Skin to your sd card
using astro or any other file browser navigate to where you have saved the skin
install the apk
go to personalize and then skins and apply skin
Transparent notification pull down bar:
boot into clockwork.
install zip from sd card.
reboot

will this work with 2.2 or 2.2.1 roms?
Edit: Nevermind, Using with LeeDroid V1.3 perfectly. Finally...a working transparent statusbar!

Wow, you didn't create any skin, you just took my skin and added some blue pngs... how convenient. Please, just create skin using my tutorial and change it instalation name so it wont collide with my rEVOlution skin...
+1 for the name change.
There are a number of issues/changes needed with this. Menu, the pressed item in settings etc is still green, there is a button (one with 3 lines) which is different from everything else.
Reverted to sopL87's version. Just liked the lockscreen .png in this a little more.

oh i forgot about the name, i changed some pngz and i added one or two others, e.g when you go to link contacts, there is no box aroudn the link now, also all tick boxes are blue, whenever you press buttons its blue, don't worry i don't take credit for it, it was a wicked skin to begin with. i just preferred it to be blue

Bug
I encountered a bug. You can't open the secundaire email service on the DHD while running this skin. It will give the following error:"sorry, proces com.htc.android.mail has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".
Great skin, but because of the bug I won't use it.
Rgds,
My friend... include alt Rosie (replace the personalize button) from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=736487#post10093268 please...
As next replace the framework (e.x. battery, WiFi icon) from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=884888 please...
If you do so your theme will flash my daddy too THANKS
This is best blue skin ever, just replace the framework and the Rosie, make it only blue color, fix the mail bug and we all have our theme (yours of course)
PS: we both use revolution hd 2.0.1 rom by mike1986...
My friend.

That is my blue theme I have compiled. You may have heard there is a new Rom launched by HTC. Which is 1.72 the baseband instead of the older 1.32. But if you upgrade officially you lose rooting and clockwork for good till someone figures it out.
On the other hand I'm using lee Droid which has a custom version of the new roms. So I'm going to update my theme with even more blue. It includes the blue loader and custom battery and WiFi etc. And apps have custom icons. But it includes more that is long to list. I will update for the new roms tomorrow evening. Then maybe tomorrow or the following evening. I will update it for the 1.32 older roms.

I am using 1.72.405.3 updated rom, so if you can make it compatible.. It could be great. The stock rom is really easy to flash throught adb..
Brilliant. I'm using 1.72. Are you on stock Rom or custom ROM. You will need clockwork to flash new framework

I have put in even more blue into the theme now. change the lockscreen and the notification bar to be more transparent. also i have included the rosie remap for the browser. i havent changed the framework res as i prefer my colour framework res. but what i can do for you if you like is upload a separate one with revolution DHDs framework Res.
Just testing it out now and then changing battery icon tomorrow and upload. just finished everything else now. aahhh, much better now!

[Q] Top Bar tranparency

Can the top bar be made transparent so the desktop wallpaper will show through / behind it?
I have used UOT to set the top bar transparent (#000000 @ 50%) and it does appear transparent on lock screens with some of the wallpaper visible, but when I get to the desktop it goes back to solid black. I use go launcher by default but have also checked out the default launcher from Serendipity 7, both show solid black.
Is there a feature / limit in 2.3.3 roms preventing transparent top bar on the desktop?
Tried getting it to work by using the kitchen before and no luck
I'll make it for you. What ROM/theme/mods do you have installed?
Or could you post your SystemUI.apk?
Sent from my SGH-I897
Here's the stock Serendipity VII SystemUI.apk with a 50% transparent status bar. You should be able to use this with the UOT kitchen if you want to change anything, although I've never used it so I'm not completely sure.
take your pick -> APK or CWM zip
thanks for the offer. Here's my systemui file.

Here you go, black, 50% transparent:
APK or CWM zip
No dice. I do have the transparent bar on lock screen, but it still goes solid black on desktop. Would I be better off trying to put a semi trans image for the bar in framework-res.apk? (if that would be the correct place) I have an image file in mind matching my dock bar but it would need to be resized and flipped 180.
Could you assist there as well?

That would be my guess. I edited the .png as black in framework-res.apk and it's always black, no matter what screen. So I guess making that image transparent would be your best bet.
The file is called "statusbar_background.9.png", in framework-res/drawable-hdpi.
Just edit the file and open apk with a zip program then simply drag it back in.

I don't know why that last one didn't work. I put it on my phone and it worked perfectly. Framework-res shouldn't do anything, but then I also thought the last one worked, so I guess it'd be worth a try.
I'm now thinking it's an issue with your launcher, but I don't see how. You've really got me stumped here. Sorry I can't help you further.

thats a miui theme in that pic...but its possible on cm7 with a patch c this thread

That patcher only works for Windows Computers...I have a mac
Ok so I opened the apk of the CM7 theme I wanted and change the png file of the notification bar to transparent. I repacked it into the zip, but now I need to resign the zip and turn it into an apk.
Can anyone do this for me? Will this work?
Hope this works for you.
It installed great...but no transparency...
Any ideas why?

Maybe point 6.2 in this post
In the UOT Kitchen under that statusbar mod you want to select Dr Droid for the top bar..
That one will give you a semi transparent top statusbar..its the closest thing I have found to what you want. The only side effect I have noticed is the notification icons kinda leave a fade for a little bit.

Hey, just a heads up, I don't think the link with instructions for hiding status icons i sent you is accurate when it comes to hiding the GPS icon. I tried it but couldn't get it to work. Also, any chance of hiding the alarm clock too?
I also noticed that the trash can for removing apps/Widgets from the desktop is ick color. I haven't found any other remnants of wrong colors, which is quite impressive for a first theme. Kudos to you my friend.

You mean the plain colored quick pop up trash can or the red android at the top?
I Skipped over all the widgets and home screen long press menus cause I never used em, i'll take a look
And as for the icons I saw that in Notepad++ couldn't find those exact instances, codes a bit different but similar, didnt wanna break anything so didn't touch yet...more research required (gotta learn some c++) but definitely am hiding alarm headphone and gps icons...
bear with me as i have literally never done any of this before and learning in between working 2 jobs leaves little time.

Simply just making the icon all transparent with no logo would simply take it away but not sure if there'd still be a space in the status bar.
There will be, tried that already. lol
I'm trying to edit the status_bar.xml to remove/change the formating of space to even allow it to be drawn there, wich was easy enough but apk tools bein stubborn, i posted my log in general HERE.
Ok, I found out why the SystemUI.apk won't recompile for you. There are two files that need to be deleted, and you need to replace one other file that is corrupted.
Decompile your SystemUI.apk. All the relevant files are in res/drawable-hdpi/ First, delete:
status_bar_close_on.png
statusbar_background.png
Those files are redundant because they have .9 versions. Then you need to delete status_bar_close_on.9.png and replace it with a file of the same name. For some reason, this file is corrupt and is screwing things up.
You can then also just drop my statusbar.xml into the res/layout/ folder.
As proof of concept, here is the status_bar_close_on.9.png from ICK and my statusbar.xml (with appropriate color and 2.6dip for the top buffer) dropped into your theme:
https://www.box.com/s/796e172de222cba000b9
I don't remember if you had the date in the statusbar the same cyan color, but after flashing the above zip, the date, usb, and debugging icons in the status bar are white.

I believe that trash can is specific to the launcher you would have to theme the launcher.

I really appreciate you for trying to figure it out on your own how to do this stuff, instead of just asking someone else to do it Well First off, you can't edit the signal bars to show more signal. it's gonna show what the network provides. Next the statusbar background. you edited the right image, but you didn't add it's 9 patch back after you edited it to transparent. So I edited the image correctly for you. Just so you know inside the tools folder in your android sdk you will see draw 9 tool use that to add the 9patch back into your image before you compile it back. Also I should note that the statusbar will appear solid in most HTC apps like blinkfeed, appdrawer, etc. htc draws the statusbar from the background images in lots of it's apks. Anyways attached is your apk. It should be what your looking for.
