Adobe Flash Player 11 + AIR 3 Updates! (APK Format) (10/4/11) - Xoom Themes and Apps

Fresh from the market! I downloaded both the Flash Player 11 update as well as the Adobe AIR 3 update and pulled the APKs from my Xoom to share here with others just in case they cannot get it to download or cannot download it at all on any of their devices.
They are both working extremely well! A much needed update for both apps. Oh, and Hulu still does not work on Flash Player 11 by default. I'm sure someone out there was going to ask about that so I answered it already for you. ^^

I'm not sure if extra configuration is required, but the Hulu version posted above did not work on my Droid Charge w/ 2.3.5. I get a message that Flash 10 or higher is required to view the content.

Should we just use the hulified flash 11 instead of the first posted link? Is it supposed to be the same thing plus the ability to use Hulu?

Not working on my Xoom Wifi 3.2.1 I've set user agent as desktop too.

i just gave it a try and it works!
only setup required for me was downgrading the stock flash 11 down to 10.3 pre-install.

thanks
Thanks I was looking for a clean copy of this flash to modify

New Flash player (certified) from Vega

Remember the Advent Vega, G Tablet's brother, which launched in the UK with Flash player but was pulled shortly after?
Well today an update 1.09 was launched for the Vega which includes a certified flash player. Should work perfectly with our G Tablet given the hardware similarities.
Vega system update including Flash and Calibration tool here: http://www.myadventvega.co.uk/
Flash player extracted:

EDIT: This is crashing my browser on TnT Lite 4.23 in the default web browser on ABC News 24 (Aus) and Youtube
Maybe there are associated files missing?

This is not working on my setup - TnT Lite 4.23
Has anyone tried on VEGAn? Since this apk is pulled from the Vega tab and this version of flash is also from Vega, it should work (in theory).
Can someone running VEGAn please test?

I'm guessing they updated some of the shared libs. I've tried swapping in all the libs that LogCat says gets loaded when I try to watch a flash movie but it just plays the first few seconds of sound then blows up the browser. Finally I loaded up a new libc.so and libEGL.so and the browser doesn't even think that flash is installed. Downloading vegan 1.08 now and going to compare the changes to 1.09 and see what else I missed.
We may need the '.apk' file as well as the 'libflashplayer.so' file from the system.img
Well, I ran a diff on 1.08 to 1.09 and the only major changes were a couple of unrelated apks and the entire shuttle_data folder. So I copied the shuttle_data folder over rebooted and still get the same response, few seconds of audio play then the browser just closes (no FC error, just a sigdev in logcat). This was with both the stock browser and tunny.
Oh well.
chad
i have flash working fine already. Is there a reason why i would want this version?
No particular reason why this new version should be any better than the version we are already using.
It's just that the new one is 'certified' by Adobe as being compatible with tegra2 devices, so I expected it would run smoother, use less battery, and generally be more awesome.
Since none of us can get it to work it seems the 'certified' version is considerably less awesome.
Andriod central had a post that stated tetra 2 users should not install the update. I don't know how to copy and paste yet otherwise I'd put link here.

The reason why it may be "awesome" is that certain manufacturers, such as Advent and Viewsonic, placed Flash compatibility claims on their boxes and then shipped the units. They then had a flood of returns when the unit didin't do what it was supposed to do.
In the Viewsonic case the TnT interface was a further layer of mistake that upset the general purchasing public.
Now that Adobe have certified a copy of flash these manufacturers can place this copy onto the shipping systems. Which will result in far fewer returns from disgruntled customers.
Here in the UK we may now see Advent actually release some stock to retail stores, rather than than limiting releases to on-line sales to enthusiasts.
Admitedly the Advent approach has led to rather better public perception of the Vega than the G-Tablet has achieved by shipping directly to the general public. Who don't have, and shouldn't need to have, the skills required to modify the G-Tablet to achieve a usable system.
So in short its "awesome" because it removes a rather large barrier to sale for the existing Tegra2 tablet population. Now it is also just in time for the Zoom product roll-out. So the timing of a certified build is hardly coincidental.

Flash 10.3 with Hulu fix (Updated 6/29 to 10.3.185.25)

bigrushdog over in the Motorola Xoom forum posted this last night:
Flash 10.3 Hulu Modded (OLD)
It's running great on CM 7.0.3 with stock browser; I haven't tested it on any other ROMs or browsers. It works perfectly after reboot and no additional scripts are needed. Just uninstall your current version of flash and install the modded one above. Make sure to set your user agent to desktop if it's not already (in stock browser, Menu>Settings>Select User Agent; I set mine to linux desktop).
Note: If you were using any scripts to let a previous version of flash allow Hulu to work (to transfer the libflashplayer.so at boot, for example), remove them; they aren't needed and will only interfere.

Giving it a go!
EDIT: Running Vegan 5.1.1, hulu works great! thanks!
Couldn't get it to work on my unrooted Xoom but it was too easy to get it working on my NC. I'm running CM 7.03 off an external SD. Only problem is that Hulu playback seems to stagger on the NC unless the resolution is turned down to 288. It's probably not a bandwidth issue since my 360 and notebook handle the 288, 360 and 480 without issue using the same wifi network. Still 288 is quite watchable.
Nice find OP! This works great on my CM7 setup, I can actually use the volume slider now!

Is it just Hulu that's not working or it the flash player not working either? If the flash player doesn't work at all, I'm guessing it's not compatible with your ROM/kernel combo. If it's just Hulu that's not working, did you make sure to change the user agent in your browser to desktop? If not, that could be the problem.
Raphe, Flash plays just fine elsewhere (Crooks and Liars, Comedy Central). Browser IS set to "Desktop."
Hulu shows the expected thumbnails and selecting one shows me the appropriate header but just a black viewing area.

Do you have flash set to "on demand" in Dolphin? This is how I have Dolphin setup on my tablet and this what happens when ever I go to a video on Hulu. I just find some other flash content on the page, look for a gray box with a green arrow, and click on that. It will activate flash and the video will load.
Edit: On another note, is anybody having issues with Hulu? I have read on a few sites that Hulu has fixed the hole and this hack doesn't work anymore but the site is running just fine on my tablet. I am watching Family Guy right now and its just like on my PC.
Vegan 7 rc1 - working perfectly!
Using Dolphin HD with the "allow plugins on demand" option, I did as 4Incredible suggested and found a separate "demand" arrow on the page which caused the primary viewing screen to kick in. Thanks so much.
Video is a little stuttery even with a strong wi-fi connection. Nature of the beast?
Calkulin/Clemsyn v.5 w/out the undervolting option activated.
I download this file, rename from .zip to .apk, and after clicking ok to install, it tells me it did not install.. running vegantab 5.1.1
Tried this but Hulu asks for 10.3.2 version which doesn't exist. Running Enhanced TNT g tablet. This also broke flash working on Fancast, CBS, etc... on all browsers set to desktop or not. Went back to 10.2 and they all work except Hulu. Fancast offers same as Hulu so no big deal.
Working on CM7 nightly 72 with stock browser. Thanks!
Works on CM 7.0.3 Stable
Big Thanks to the XOOM devs that put this together!

The download link is for an apk file, not a zip file, so you shouldn't have to change the extension. If you click the link and it downloads a zip file, something strange is going on with your computer or tablet or whatever device you downloaded the file on. I'd say try downloading it on a different device and see if that works. If this still doesn't work, let me know and I'll post the apk directly.
Works on Vegab Tab

Thanks so much that you answered me!
But the first link,it says that,"we're sorry .This content requies Adobe Flash Player, which is not supported by your device................ "
The second link,I can't open it,maybe because my network or sth.
Otherwise,I heard that Nook HD+ do not support any other kind of apps except those from nook or google store.
So,does that mean I have to reinstall the system to make it?
(I can't send any link,so I delete them when I quote.)

If you are stock you should try to get it from the Google Play Store, it is there but not available for all devices. I originally was able to load it from the store when I had my tablet stock.

Did you have Flash Player installed from the Play Store for another device? If so you can install it on this device. I have it on my stock HD+. Click on the down arrow in the Play Store to see your installed apps. Then click on the all tab. Then you scroll until you find it in your list and install from there.

I am sorry that I wasn't clear, but I meant that I had downloaded Adobe Flash Player from the Google Play Store when my Nook HD+ was still running the stock rom. It is still supported in the Google Play Store for Android 4.0.x ICS and previous versions. With that and SWF Player I am able to run the .swf game flow...
On any Android version after ICS you would need to sideload Flash Player, but if you are running stock you should be able to load it from the play store.

@RageAgain when I first got my HD+ it immediately updated itself to stock 2.1.0 and the flash player was not available to me from the play store. I had to flash leapinlar's Extras zip file with cwm to enable unknown sources and then download and install the ICS version from Adobe's archive page. I used stock for a short while before flashing CM, and now I have 2.1.0 on a bottable SD card. The flash player may have been available at one time from stock 2.1.0, but not any more.

Hello, have you ever downloaded Adobe Flash Player on your phone? If your phone had it, then just make sure that flash setting in Dolphin Browser is on. For more details, click here :https://dolphinbrowser.desk.com/cus...ble-the-flash-player-in-android-4-0-?b_id=317
