Hmmm curious.. Nightly 108 with tiamat has been perfect for me though I wish I knew what changed from that.

I've already tried it, so far so good. I forgot how fast it is to have a AOSP rom!

how long does it go for on a normal usage

4ext is preserved, make sure you wipe everything if your coming form a sense rom. I don't think I need to say it, but make sure you make a backup just in case.

Well its really depends on what you running at behind on your phone.
If your phone is running many keep-online apps, like turning on g-maps latitude, gtalk, skype, facebook, twitter, whats app, talkbox, viber, G+, news updater etc. I say, 8 hours.
Plus if your phone have a single "buggy" app, something like older version of skype that will keep your phone CPU "Awake" all the time, I say, battery could last only 4-5 hours.
If you dont have any of those or you only use quality apps, plus 5 calls 10 text and 10mins brownsing per day, the power could last about 2 days and 1 night.

thanks! so i should be good by just updating revoery from ROM Manager and downloading the stable release (of course wipe and backup i'll do)

Yes, that is pretty much it.

i'm having problems with google market.. it's force closing.

that's a simple fix go to language settings and select english again it fixes that

Is the connection issues ironed out? Had problems with the nightly 80s, dunno if the 90s had problem, don't think I tried any of them. I'm on like 78 now, and as tempting as this is to upgrade, I want to make sure I can actually make and receive calls and texts.
That sucked when I found out it wasn't working, really bad actually.

Works ok, just need to test the headphones mic with this new ROM.

that is a sense-rom-only feature, from what i've read.

anyone try out #110?

Getting a FC issue in settings>sound, to change default ringtone. Anyone else facing similar issues in settings? Also any replies as to whether stock kernel is better or need to switch to tiamant? I'm using tiamant latest BTW.

Learn to install from Clockworkmod recovery directly instead. I think the extra layer of technical complexity Rom Manager offers reduces reliability that can't be offset by any added simplicity.

Flashed and there's audio now, thanks!
On the lockscreen, before you're able to see the home screen, there's an animation of an oval like tab that slides across the screen. I think the sliding tab is supposed to continue across the screen to make it look somewhat continuous. I don't think I remember seeing that when I had CM7 on my Legend.
It's not a big issue but I thought I'd bring it up.

Yea i had the same problem but then i flashed his recommended radio and it fixed that, the stock radio dont work quite well with mike's rom. The only problem i see with mike's radio is that it might be more sensitive, signal wise, it goes from 3 to 4 back to 3 bars often.

Am getting no connection in the browser when on 3g. Note other apps like market or facebook work on 3g but browser gives me nothing. On wifi browser works great. Am on Vodafone NL and still had to manually add APN like in RC0 version.

i noticed that the in-call volume and in-call speaker volume is lower than other roms. I am running the recommended radios for this build.
This ROM ROCKS!!! Insanely fast and smooth. Everything works fine but there's a couple of glitches that I've found
1) the bottom 4 navigation buttons does not rotates
2) there is a missing font from the ROM. Under the language, android keyboard - one of the language's font is missing
3) PPTP VPN is not working with Windows 2008 (Used to be working on Original HTC Sense rom and Rev rom.
Wishes
1) can we have native chinese input added to android keyboard?
Much appreciated if you can kindly look into the above mentioned.
Thanks.

I've never used CM on my Dinc. Only on my nook color. I've heard many rave about it, and boast outstanding Battery life with it. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there are things on the stock that don't work with CM7. I read that 720p recording didn't work before, but honestly have not read up too much on it. Going to try it, as I'm using my phone at work more than I ever have before and it's KILLING my battery. Cinderblock walls make the signal so weak it drains battery like crazy. I just want to know what I might lose before finding out at work Thanks in advance. Really want to give this a try.

It's not too likely to happen until HTC releases the source for GB. Even when they do, there's no guarantee that it'll be available. I tweeted slayher a few weeks back about it and he'd said he'd look into it as soon as he could, but he admitted that the camera wasn't something he understood real well. I guess the best I could say is just wait, be patient, and hopefully something will happen.
Does anyone know of a circle battery icon with percent that's working with the 7.1 official release?

Strongly suggest u guys stop using adw launcher! Really can not bear it's log when moving between screens anymore!
Will updating to Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 mess with my apps2ext? I'm currently using simple2ext and Cyanogenmod 7.0.3.

Just install your launcher of choice and remove ADW via recovery
Code:
adb shell rm -f /system/app/ADWLauncher.apk

I tried Go Launcher but didn't like it, experienced lag using that too. I tried installing the Gingerbread Launcher APKs posted around but couldn't find one which had an app draw which worked correctly, all of them were HDPI, not MDPI.
I have settled on using Launcher Pro which seems to going well.
One main issue that led to me changing from ADW was folders acting funny. I would have it open and then later it would refuse to open.
anyone else facing problems with market?

I'd like to check check it.. currently im on blayo with a2sd enabled and many apps installed on sd.. is there any way to backup ALL of the settings and apps, try CM7.1 and eventually get back to backup'ed blayo with all old settings? or is it impossible?
I want to avoid this time eating process of setting back my cell to the state it was before the rom changing..

Just do a nandroid backup and it will backup your ext partition as well, so that should give no problems
The kernel is 2.6.32.17-cyanogenmod-g2819076
Run's great!!!

Yes, constant FC's when doing a search which kind of makes the ROM useless at this point. I tried 2011-08-28 and 2011-06-13 as well. Did this ROM get rushed?

[ROM] CyanogenMod-7.2 RC2 for Incredible S

CyanogenMod is a free, community built distribution of Android 2.3.7 (Gingerbread) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

This is an AOSP-based build with extra contributions from many people which you can use without any type of Google applications. I found a link from some other project that can be used to restore the Google parts, which can be found below or elsewhere in the thread. I've still included the various hardware-specific code, which seems to be slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Enabling custom levels in Automatic backlighting works fine on up scaling brightness on increasing lux, but when lux is reduced back the brightness value corresponding to lower lux is not getting applied till the phone is locked and unlocked once..
I hope all have this problem.. ? I had this problem in nightlies too.. Is there a fix for this ?
I just cannot download it
Edit :
Mirror working again, awesome speed, i'd recommend using the official link again instead of my dropbox link.

Did you flash gapps zip after flashing the ROM?
Reflash the ROM w/o wipes may help! I tried it once on my wife's Galaxy Ace!
