New Extended Battery "possibly" 3'500 mAh + External Charger - "Update 10.16.2011" - Motorola Droid and Milestone Accessories

New Extended Battery "possibly" 3'500 mAh + External Charger - "Update 10.16.2011"
Just recieved my new extended battery with extended back door for my Milestone 1. Bought it from here:
www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180686832371&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:CH:1123
It took a good month to arrive from china to europe, but it's finally here.
It weighs 47 gramms vs 27 gr for the standard BP6X and is twice as thick.
Can't say much about the accuracy of the amperage as I just fully recharged it with the external charger I ordered from here:
www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250859367106&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:CH:1123
As you can see it's quite cheap and although ordered on the same day as the battery, it arrived 3 weeks before..! (About 10 days after my order). It's working very good and sports also a usb port (5.2 Volts and 800 mA output) at the end for standard charging. I haven't tried yet which of the battery or the device will be charged first, though. Will report about it later.
I'll also report about real life battery time in a few days, after testing.
I'm still very happy with my good ol' milestone 1 (european droid 1), and although it's a little short on memory, latest CM 7.1 developpements make it very fast and usable.
Edit: Just tried to charge through the usb port of the charger, it doesn't work. I guess 800 mA is not enough, had the same issue with other car/home chargers. I think motorola's ones have 1A output. Even my Galaxy Tab's isn't powerfull enough... What a Milestone Beast!
Edit 2: Battery has reach 10% after 31 hours of standard use. As I though, real intensity most be around 2800 mAh and not 3500 mAh as stated. But it's still around 2x what we can expect from the original one. I run my Milestone on CM7.1 ROM and 1800MHz network.
Edit 3: I'm experiencing the "1% battery left" effect of some other devices' extended batteries for about 9 hours now! So until now It's been working for more than 40h. I tried to switch the phone of and back on again, but still 1% left and red led blinking (on some devices it makes it measure the value of the second cell, I guess, and brings it back to about 90%. Don't ask me why... It happens on my Dell Streak 5). I hadn't had this with my Xperia X10, where the energy left of my extended battery was accurate.
Final edit: worked for a good 48 hours. I must add that I put my phone during night time in Airplane mode (about 16 hours, but with some wifi surfing).

Nice one.

which charger do u use for charging the new battery through ur device's standardnusb port?

I charged it first with the external charger, as I think it's the best way to be sure that the whole battery is thouroughly and fully charged. But since first charge I also recharged it through the device's microusb port, which seems to work fine.
Since my first post, I also recieved my second extended battery:
www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190572457987&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:CH:1123
It looks almost the same as the first one, except the font used on the sticker is smaller and the price is cheaper.
I'm testing its power time right now, expecting it to be close to the one of its siebling.
I had also ordered a standard sized 1870 mAh battery from here:
www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150585920125&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:CH:1123
Problem with this one is it doesn't show battery status on the phone, as the mAh level can't be determinated by the phone. Will check with the seller what can be done (problem only with my battery?)
I saw another standard 1800 mAh battery for sale ($ 10.-), maybe will give it a try, seller seems more serious.

Some updates about my second extended battery: I now have had a full discharging/charging cycle (in the phone itself) and it seems that the battery is now calibrated. My updated "Battery Monitor Widget" shows me now 2885 mAh for the full capacity and the phone gives apparently the right power status. Real life use time seems the same as my first extended battery, about 48 hours.

How can you even put your Milestone in your pocket?? The battery door looks HUGE

Right now I'm using this battery:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130579480018&ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:GB:1123
it has cca 80% of the original battery capacity, however it is much better then the other chinese battery I've owned in milestone, (I think) it supports the 1% mod, and it did cost me $1.89 delivered to my place.
I always take the old original battery and the dying chinese battery in my bag in case this new dies. I will get probably the same power-on hours count as with this extended battery yet with smaller package.

I just order one like this... thank's for the review

got 3500
just get AFTER over 2 month waiting me battery, what suppose to be 3500mAh . charging it , will post updates. bw. fone looks FAT now, geeky but fat. and fits into motorola a925i pouch no probs

Yes, please do post some updates and reviews.
I am only aware of 3300mAh [HLI-A855XL] by Mugen for Motorola Milestone which have good reviews.

it works fine

Mugen Power 1800mAh

With new roms and gps placing demands on battery life, I opted to look for an alternative. Performance hacks can only work so much before your battery dies out when you have an 1100 or 1500Mah battery. I found this battery on ebay from a store and decided to go for it and here's my findings so far....
The model number I'm testing is HLI-P6800SL and will cost you USD48.55
Here's the link in case you wanna check it out:http://www.mugenpowerbatterijen.nl/
Ebay:http://search.ebay.ca/search/search...=m37&satitle=mugen+power+batteries&category0=
*FIRST IMPRESSIONS*
1) Battery is exactly same size as the OEM, had no problems with fitting. Initially thought its increased capacity it would be make it a tighter fit, wasn't the case, PERFECT FIT!!!
2) Turned on my PPC without any hitches or glitches
3) Free shipping, makes this even sweeter...
4) Juicing it up, will fill you in with a much more detailed comparative analysis, my girlfriend is a true test of battery power
5) After some extended use, battery is still cool, haven't experienced any over-heating some users claim
*PRELIMINARY RESULTS*
Having spent a full 36 hrs with the battery...the results are encouraging to say the least. Do keep in mind that for Li-on cells to be fully functional, they need to go thru at least 3-5 full discharge-charge cycles and this is only the 1st cycle.
I followed the manufacturer's specifications about the initial 12 hour charge, also take into consideration that this test was conditioned, i.e. I dished out extra punishment, GPS ON for every trip, BT headset on for every call, backlight at 40% (which is pretty bright) and send/receive set at 5 minute intervals.
I consider myself a heavy-user during the day (less at night) with usage being split data and voice even. I receive approximately 40-60 emails a day (some with large attachments) and make out just about as many phone calls. So without much ado, here are my results...
Testing started 09:30 when I initially placed the battery 100% and ended 02:49 when it finally discharged 0% = 17hr 19m window. So in order to rate correctly and/or approximately I took the calculation values (credit hofo_mofo) of my 1500mah battery
Talk time (4.5 hr)
Current = Rating / Time
Current = 1500 mAh / 4.5 hr
Current = 333 mA
Standby (230hr)
Current = Rating / Time
Current = 1500 mAh / 230 hr
Current = 6.5mA
Run time based on my daily usage 09:30/100% -22:23/ 0% = 13hr 13min window
VERSUS 1800Mah
Talk Time = Rating / Current
Time = 1800 mAh / 333 mA
Time = 5.4hrs
Standby = Rating / Current
Time = 1800mAh / 6.5mA
Time = 277hrs
Theoretical 5.4 - 4.5/ 4.5 = 26% more power
vs.
Actual 17.19 - 13.13/ 13.13 = 31% increased capacity
I will be back to update my findings after 5 charge cycles and will note any increased or decreased performance, but for now very promising. If you use an 1100mah or any other type of battery, do the math and the numbers will pretty much tell you if it's a worthy purchase or not. I am not in any way recommending you purchase this battery, just sharing my findings. So until then....

Also very interested... My Mogul came with a 1500 battery so the 1650 is a waste of time... but 1800 may be worth it.
I have the seidio 3200mAh battery
Have had it for about a month now. The thing really does perform. I use my phone all day long and rarely go below 70% it's great.
Now, if only Seidio would make the rubberized case for the extended battery things would be better.
were do u get the 3200mah battery n how much did it set u back
Seidio. I mentioned the NAME of the battery as in the name of the company. They MAKE the battery and sell it.

at the bottom.
Very nice review of this battery. Most of the time people just say, "it lasted a day and a half instead of half a day," as if that is any real indication of how the battery performed. You were very specific on how you use your phone and gave an analysis of your results.
They may not be entirely accurate ( due to the every day changes in your usage between the 1800 battery and original batt. ), but I still want to give you props for a decent review.
Suggestion:
Test the 1800 vs Orig using a stopwatch program and gsplayer like here:
http://www.aximsite.com/boards/vbar...gen-extended-battery-for-the-ipaq-2200-series
That way you will get a more precise comparison.
But again, good review of the battery, you were above par on that one .

how much depth/thickness does that battery add? will it still fit in the stock leather holster?
It added a lot of thickness to the phone exact number I'd check the Seidio site, and no, it won't fit the stock case any more
i bought a mugen extended (fat) battery for the htc tytn ii a few weeks ago and it's performance is a bit strange. while it does add plenty of power to the device, battery drains at normal rate until 14%. then it stays at 14% for a long time before it starts to go down.
so while the battery is useful, the device won't accurately display the remaining battery life. is this the case with this 1800mah mogul bat?

Its actually quite accurate, it doesn't hang like my oem battery. I thought it was somewhat the same after the first time when it hung around 10% for more than an hour or so, then it dropped to 5%. I think when the power is that low, it drops in multiples of 5... just a thought.
Will confirm/disprove when my battery is low, come to think of it I've never seen my original battery at 8% either

That's not Li-Ion that's for the old Nickel_MH or cadium batteries
you should never completely discharge Li-ion battery as that will damage them a bit. In fact there's people arguing you should keep your Li-ion battery as high a charge as often as possible.
Defective battery? Mogul LED blinking Red with Mugen 1800mAh
I ordered the Mugen HLI-6800SL 1800mAh standard-sized battery from www.lionbattery.com last week and got it this past Saturday. I put it in my Mogul and proceeded to charge it as per the directions (i.e. in the phone, not on a cradle, with the OEM AC adaptor). After 12 hours, I tried powering up the phone but nothing happens. Furthermore, once I tried plugging in the AC adapter into the Mogul with the battery installed, I get a blinking red LED light.
I emailed lionbattery.com about a replacement. Is this anything I can fix?
Thanks!
symptoms of a discharged battery or a battery about to discharge (end of life cycle). Best action plan at this point is to return it, here's hoping you kept the original receipt, keep me posted how it goes...
So far haven't had any problems, still outperforming my original battery. Will be back to finish my review of the battery in the next 2-3 days
What I'd like to know is who makes hard cases for these? I have a mogul and no one makes a hard case for the sliding keyboard to be functional as well. What i mean is for an extended battery for the mogul and a hard case like the seidio one (thanks seidio for dropping the ball completely on this one).
I bought that 1800MaH battery today. Also bought this: http://cgi.ebay.com/New-Black-Alumi...15036QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262
I had a case like that for my Axim, it was awesome. I really dont care that you cant use the touchscreen or keyboard without opening it, I need something rugged and with a high enough ridge buttons dont get pressed. Poor phone rides around in the center console of a Jeep all day long.
I'll post pictures and a little review once I get the items. I also have a good 2400 Mah battery and door I recently got, if anyone wants it I'll ship it in the US for $20. It's 4mm too thick, comes with back door.
Still impressed? The battery is currently out of stock at LionBattery.com

extended batteries

Speaking as someone who uses their phone pretty darn constantly, I'm in need of a battery that lasts a bit longer than the stock.
currently, Seidio is selling an extended battery (I would link, but as a noob I'm not able to..) 1750 mAh - no new door required, but only a gain of 450 mAh..
Verizon has stated there's a 2150 mAh extended battery coming, but that will almost certainly require a new back plate.
Anyone spotted any other compatible batteries yet?
I ordered the Seidio one and while it fits behind the stock cover it also adds a bit of weight, which is great considering how light this bad boy is.
Seidio is also going to release a 3500 mAh battery in the near future! According to their website, it adds 3-5 mm of width. But for the extra battery I think it will be worth it. The only problem is I am debating on purchasing this because I had one for my tilt and well it flat out sucked after a month of use.
what do you mean it flat out sucked after a month, the thickness or the capacity of the battery?
The battery itself would barley last a day if I was lucky. Seidio just said it needed to charge like 8 times before it was full. It didn't kick in. Is this rare?

Did you let it fully drain till the phone died, and keep turning the phone on until it wont turn on anymore. Then charge it fully, unplug when it is fully charged, let it get back down to 90-95%, then fully charge again, let die & repeat. Do that a few times and your battery life should be better. This is what I do whenever I get a new phone...
We use LiION Batteries, No special charging required
OK, to start, there is NO NEED to do any special charging conditions with Li Ion batteries, it does not matter how they are charged. A standard battery will have between 400 and 1200 charge cycles before it loses 50% of its capacity (1200 if you charge at 50%, 400 if you charge at 0-10%, like when the phone quits on you). Ni Cadmium on the other hand does require special charging situations but we don't use them in cell phones because of the mass. You can do take the advice of the previous post, but if you do that I would suggest sacrificing a virgin symbian phone or doing a handstand while plugging in your phone to charge. That might increase the battery life too.
Secondly, I spoke with Verizon, and their 2100 mA extended battery will be available soon and it is supposed to fit with the stock backing, probably the best way to go if you ask me, only $60 too. I am checking their site almost daily waiting for this to become available since like many, I need more battery life, I find that I can barely make it through the day without being conservative with the use, and that's on a work day when I'm not on it that much, on the weekends I have to charge it in the afternoon.
If you want to save on battery, turn down the screen brightness, chose a background with as few colors as possible, the more black the less battery you will use since its an AMOLED, blacks mean there is no power being used on the screen. Turn off your GEO locations services both on the phone settings and in programs that run a lot. This will easily save you 25-30% battery life.

I was at a Verizon store yesterday asking about it and they showed me their documentation. Their extended battery will come with a new back cover that is slightly raised to fit the larger battery.
I'm waiting for this too because it looks like it will be the most aesthetically pleasing option.
Too bad the guy had NO idea when the accessories were going to become available. Ugh.

Verizon doesn't trust their employees very much - to prevent leaks, they don't tell people about equipment/accessory release dates til within about two weeks of the actual release. The Incredible launch announcement had one of the longest announcement to release times I've seen the the last two years.

I dont know, but my seideco 1750 def gets me 3 more hours a day on my Incredible. I have switched back and forth from stock and the extended...the extended wins EVERYTIME...so Im not sure about that report.
@ suzook
I read that my OEM TP2 rated as one of the best.
TP2 OEM standard issue Rated @ 1500mAh Tested @ 1414mAh
Most Likely our stock incredible battery has a lower mAh then it actually states it is.
@ Xxq TZ pxX
Yes it will work because its in my phone now working like a champ ;O)
I also told someone else here like myself who swapped from the tp2 ====> incredible and he seen it first hand as-well.
TP2 batteries work fine
Hey all,
The TP2 battery works fine. Same size and 200mAh more than stock... in fact I've seen them sold on Fommy.com as the thin extended battery for $44.95. Don't be fooled, and just go buy the TP2 batteries. They're cheaper if you don't need the therapy session of a rebranding.
Enjoy!
P.S. Got a workaround for Skype too...
I'm sure a number of HTC CDMA phones have interchangeable batteries.
I swapped out the 1500mAh battery from my Sprint Hero and put it into my Incredible. It's easily out lasting the stock incredible battery.
I ordered the 1500 HTC battery as well. Between those to staying charged I am not worried about it.
Also anyone know of a battery charger for these types of batteries?
For those of you that want a red 1500mah battery I found this but im not sure if its oem or not it just says its an htc extra capacity battery hxxp://shop.htcpedia.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=825

LOL that thing is huge!! It doesn't look that comfortable. I just bought a second battery as a back up. I figure that since I am pulling out my battery to reset the phone once or twice every day that I would make sense to have a fully charged battery in case I was low on juice or something.

Does the kickstand feel pretty sturdy? And, does it "snap" into fully-open/fully-closed positions, or does it travel freely between them?
Does anyone have any news on when the extended life SLIM battery will be released, either by SEIDIO or MUGEN POWER? I'd like more battery life but not that huge back.

i heard that HTC HD2 Extended Battery BP E400 will not fit HD2 TMOUS version very well and i am looking for someone to confirm this for me ?
Well im bored in my class. So i guess, ill write up this review.
First off, I purchased andida battery off ebay, and is a very well known, i believe korean battery maker. It took two weeks from Hong Kong for me to receive the battery. Second, i did proper break-in for the battery, about 5-6full charge & discharges. The OEM battery barely lasted the entire day for me, i disconnect from the charger at 9 A.M., and by 8:30, im at 1%!! With the new battery, the same goes, but by 8:30, im at 15%, and will die by about 10ish. I have the phone set for push email, and the bulk of my email comes in about between 10am & 2pm. The Sense updates are set to 4 hour updates & im constantly connected to 3G. The phone never sees a charger in between 9AM & 10pm. Hopefully this sheds some light about this battery.

I'm using the 2600mah Mugen extended battery and I gotta say its a huge improvement. I work 10 hour shifts and I use to leave work with only about 30-20% left and now I'm at 65-70% at the end of shift. I use it as a router a couple times a day, listen to a couple songs, and look stuff up online. I was real timid about using my phone at all cuz it would kill my battery, but now I have no problems with heavy usage. It does take a couple charges to really unlock the batteries full capacity.

Ordered the same battery. Have had it about a week and a half, and I'm only by my third charge. The only complaints I have so far are the 4-5 12 hour charges that the instructions say you should do initially (thankfully I only have 2 more charges to go); and the battery cover included is flimsy. It pops off with the slightest touch. Might be just a defect on mine, but maybe others can confirm this. Good thing I had another cover that stays on.
Mugenpower extended battery case
Has anyone ordered the mugen power extended battery case. Imwondering if it will fit tmobilehd2 due to the slight difference in size. I know that a lot of us are looking for a case for an extended battery. It's avail. At mugenpower.net

Buy yourself a cheaper battery: using lower amp batteries with the Nexus S

I have always thought that the amperage of a battery made no difference to the voltage due to the factory adjusting the internal resistance of the battery. Amperage I understood was measured in current, however, which does have an effect on overall voltage.
Recall:
V = I * R
With electronics, it is my understanding that the mAh battery doesn't matter as long as the voltage is the same, although you'd get less longevity out of a 1650 mAh vs a 1440 mAh.
Thus, I believe this battery would work. Thoughts? The part number matches exactly what was in my Nexus S and the batteries look identical. If this is the case, save yourself some money buy not searching Nexus S battery and instead searching ab653850ca in eBay instead of paying $30-$40 for a new/replacement Nexus S battery when they are the same thing.
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-OEM-SAMSUNG...Accessories&hash=item3a5dd479e2#ht_1287wt_900
Thoughts? Both are 3.7 volts.
mAh is a unit of electric charge, not current (notice the 'h' making it milli-Ampere-hour). So, yes, a lower mAh battery will definitely work, but it will last less time.
Also (just trying to explain better) a battery is not a "powered resistor", so the relationship between its voltage and its current is not just ohm's law (the one you recall). More specifically, the 3.7 volts is due to the chemical reaction inside the battery and is more or less fixed (although it decreases as the battery discharges). The current flowing is basically a function of the load of the battery, so it changes according to what parts of the phone are working at that moment. The output resistance of the battery is a formal way of describing how close the battery is to an ideal voltage source and is not related to the amount of current it's actually providing.
Sorry if I was not clear enough, it's late here!
Missed the h. Not sure why, I see mA all the time and I just missed the h. Interesting and helpful. Thanks man. Clear to me.
That's strange, if it is the same model (AB653850CA), why is it only 1440mAh? But I'm sure it will work.
All I know is that this Samsung Moment battery I got off of Amazon for $6 is almost as good as my stock battery.

The 1440mAh batteries work perfect, I have 2 of them. While you are at it, buy a wall charger to charge them in so they will charge to 100%. Having 2 spares means you will always have a FULLY charged battery to pop in and never have to tether the phone to a charger. Plus you get 2 to 4 extra hours of use.
Very informative!

What do you mean by that ? That the 1440 mAh battery only gives you 2-4 hours ? I doubt it lasts so little time. I hope it doesn't.
No he means charging the batteries in an external charger gives them a more complete charge as I find the same thing. I've got 2 genuine batteries and a third on the way and the external charger charges them to 100% whereas the phone only charges them to around 95%. The batteries charged in the external charger last longer than those charged in the phone.
Hard to know when you're legitimately getting a battery with "more capacity" though, so I just assume I'm always buying another stock battery anyways.

Oh, I got it, thanks !
Anyway, for 6$, I think I'm going to buy one, too. Coupled with the 2nd battery dock, it should work flawlessly.
Hey guys,
I went ahead and ordered one of these too. I noticed that the Watts/hour is 5.55 on the Nexus S battery but on the battery I ordered (but have yet to get in) it says 5.3. Is this going to make a difference outside of how long the battery lasts?
If you guys buy one of these 1440s report back with what you've found out.
And if this is a success, then please urge XDA to sticky this thread or put this on the main page. Paying $50 for a second/replacement Nexus S battery is outrageous, and if this saves my fellow XDA members $45, more people should know about this. :]
UPDATE:
Looks like turbodroid already ordered these and said they work great! Thanks guys! Thank me if this was helpful.

dell streak mugen 1800 Mah

Yesterday I Got my mugen 1800 mAh (original size) battery.
WOW!
Allmost 7 hours passed right now, doing what I always do (phonecalls, push email etc) and still 87% battery left!
The original battery was really OK (about 20/24 hours) to be honest, but this is much better
Your phone battery percentage, wont be calibrated for the new size in battery so you must have just used your phone less than you usually do. With extended battery, the percentage rate goes down to 1% just as fast as your old battery, but when its gets to 1 your battery just keeps going until it runs out.
You maybe right, but I just had the bluetooth and wifi on for the whole tima, made a few phonecalls and data push as always:
Running for more than 12 hours, percentage left is 61

do you use any of the built in power conservation features, or apps maybe? I don't get that kind of performance with my 1800. Did you do the requisite 5 day 8 to 12 hour charges religiously?
The only energy saving thing I use is the automatic display brightness (android stock). Today I used the phone more intensive and after 10 hours still got 70% batt.
I only charge the phone when I go to sleep, for about 7/8 hours.
Im really happy with the new batt

Its strange how varied people's streak battery lasts. I use mine quite a bit, like listen to music and surf the internet and text for half and hour to and from work, then same for my half hour break and for my hour break at lunch, so that's 2 and a half hours of music net texting sometimes gaming also. And when I put it on charge before I go to sleep its normally over 50% everyday, it just about lasts 2 days doing the same thing on my breaks and on way to work. But normally charge it everyday just incase that's pretty good battery life I think. Might get one of these extended batteries. Really thinking about the massive 4800 one, but would like to see and hold it with it inbefore I bought it, but don't know anywhere that sells them where I live.
I had one of those 1800 mAh batteries too but it gave me worse performance than stock. I returned it. I dont know what was wrong.

the varied performance might have a little bit to do too with how many and what kind of apps are installed on a given device. I know I have a whole heap of stuff that I really have no serious need for, but see running in the background every so often doing what they do. I used to freeze them because I want to keep them, but don't necessarily want them right away.
I've done away with all that now though. Bought an Atrix with a 1930 Mha battery. Love the Streak as I did, I can now once again operate my phone with one hand again.
I am currently waiting on the mugen 1800 Mah battery and I am also testing the 4800 Mah battery really large but I use my Streak alot at work for calls, SMS, email exchange (Moxier Mail) photo's, internet and also reading books etc...
The most I got from my stock battery was 15 hrs 45mins that was due to forgetting my charger, I had about 12% left once I finally got home...
I will be doing reviews at Mobilitysite.com...

Mugen 1800mAh Extended Battery
Hi all well I have been testing the 1800mAh battery and completed my review at MobilitySite.com, if any one is interested they can view it at the link below. The one benefit of the 1800mAh battery is that it is the same size as the standard 1530mAh battery so no new battery cover.
Mugen 1800mAh Battery Review.
Currently now using and testing the 4800mAh battery... WOW! just love it only been using it for about 5 days got 40 hrs the other day, currently at 62% now and it has been off the cradle since 6:43am and it is now 8:24pm - almost 14 hours.
It is big but for me thats fine, I will be completing another review this weekend with photo's.
Cheers guys...
Is there any car mount that fits the Streak with the 4800 battery?
Hey people
If anyone is interested I have just posted my review on the MUGEN 4800mAh battery just click the review image in my signature.
Really liked the battery was excellent got up to 40 hours before I had to charge again, size was large but still easy to use, just wish there was a case that would fit it.
Cheers
Really like that review. I'm actually in the process of getting one of these batteries for my Dell Streak. The original battery in my phone overheated and isn't holding a charge very well after that incident. So I am getting the 1800 mAh battery.
Looks like it is going to take awhile as it is taking the long way from China to the US but, after reading that, I'm pretty convinced that it will be worth it. I will update when I recieve it.
