o2uk XDA11s with an Orange rom upgrade???

I have an o2uk XDA11s which is now unlocked, but i want to use my orange uk pay & go sim. Have Orange released an M2000 upgrade to the same spec as o2, and will i be ok to install it on my xda11s? Thanx.

should be no problem to install, other than voiding the warranty, but why bother, the O2 1.40 ROM seems pretty stable if you reinstall it with corporate mode which disables all the O2 extras that make the unit unstable.

i m parth from india.i have recently purchased imate pda2k.i want to update the rom of this mobile.i have also downloaded the update rom version of xda2s from o2 asia website.but its not working.when i try to update it, it shows error country code.and i also try to download it from www.clubimate.com but they want a priety big amount of 59.99$.please help me for this.tell me how to download the latest complete rom version of this imate pda2k.my e:mail adresse is [email protected] & [email protected] i'll wait for your reply.pls pls pls reply me soon.

Anyone has tested this ROM? What are its new features? I read that is a branded ROM (TIM)... can I install it on my P3600 without any problem?

It seems to me that ihis is not the latest rom for HTC P3600 branded Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM).
It is only a "test rom", a sort of pre-release, probably, that somehow managed to survive and get shippet with the phone to the final user that dumped it. When ypu do a reset of the HTC P3600 the first screen to appear tells you "TEST ONLY - NOT FOR RESALE"
I am not very happy to have upgraded to this rom, since it does not add any feature to the original one (unbranded).
And, as you can read in another post, I cannot revert back to the original unbranded rom since this one that I have loaded has apparently CID Locked my device. Now either somebody helps me to unlock or I can wait and hope that TIM releases an upgrade in future.
Anybody knows how to get rid (at least) of that "TEST ONLY " warning ?

Its impossible to go back to the previuos release ...the phone its like Locked !

i'm having problem with camera & radio it was working perfect but now its not working what so ever
i spoke to htc uk as this phone is under warranty and according to them this phone is from spain n if i send this phone under warranty repair it will come back with spanish rom & which wil have spanish language
if anybody can help me to resolve this camera problem or any upgrade rom or anything sort of help would be great

If its hardware issue it will have to go back for warranty fix. However if they do put a spanish rom on it you can always use either HSPL or USPL and flash a WWE rom

If your flashing from one stock or shipped rom to another you don't need USPL or HSPL. But if your flashing a cooked rom, you can use this guide
List of available shipped roms can be found here. Would recommend starting with latest OrangeUK_HTCTouchHD_1.59.61.2_Radio_52.64.25.34_1. 14.25.24_Ship_phone_software

Need help on HTC TOUCH HD ROM Updation

Hi,
I'm using HTC TOUCH HD (orange). I bought this handset from Scotland it was locked with orange only but i Unlocked this handset with some code.
Now this handset works gr8 for me but still i can see some settings are map with orange only. I heard if i update with international English ROM then my problem will get solved.
Can anyone please help me out to get the correct ROM for my HTC TOUCH HD.
I'm using windows 6.1 in my handset I'll be ok if its 6.1 or 6.5.

If you're still using an Orange sim card the 'Orange Plus' app is on the card btw.
You could also try 1 of the custom roms if you want some cool new stuff on your phone. Take a look at the 'dummies guide to flashing 1.56 roms' for help with that.

I have an unlocked O2 UK handset in which I currently have a Vodafone UK sim
I have updated to the HTC Mango rom from this site and my phone shows the following:
OS Version: 7.10.7720.68
Firmware Revision Number: 2250.21.40502.401
Hardware Rvision Number: 0002
Radio Software Version: 5.69.09.29a_22_.50.50.21U

My question is is this the correct setup for a UK or European handset and will it recieve updates via Zune or have I made a Frankenphone?

define correct setup.
assuming you upgraded to Europe 4.05.401.02...
if by correct you mean the Models, HD7 T9292, are the same... then yes.
if by correct you mean the Dev, PD2910000, are the same... then yes.
if by correct you mean the CID, O2___001, are the same... then no.

What I was trying to do was to de-brand my phone from O2 to Euro HTC HD7 while installing Mango. If you mean that CID, O2___001 is for O2? Then hopefully mine is now a stock HTC Euro ROM! Hopefully I'm right?

I am trying to do the same thing but moving from TMOUS to Euro HTC HD7.
Any ideas? Apparently there is still no way to do this in a safe manner, right?

easiest way...
01) RSPL your HD7.
02) flash Schubert ROM you want.
03) enjoy.
